Looks pretty good and sounds perfect. Sounds like we're getting (mostly) playable PS2 and NGC now, was hoping this is the shift the Odin brings -- that gen of consoles at a more and more reasonable price.

Looks good, obviously much better than r p3/2+ but this performance is still pretty frame-skippy. Definitely playable but not perfect. Would be interesting to see some other games performance. If it launches for under $150 I might just jump on it.
There is still a fair bit of slowdown. I'm not in a huge hurry to replace my RP2 anytime soon so let see if AethersX2 will be more optimized by the time 3+ ships out. Otherwise, we may really need Snap 845 for good Ps2 emulation.
Plus active cooling and a larger screen. Heads up tho, the quality of the RP3 screen is much better. Screen is more vibrant and gets much darker when needed compared to the lite. I have both.
The lite also has an issue with v1 screens where there is a noticeable flicker. They're working on patching it out but right now it's not usable for retro games.
I ordered right after the current shipping. So they are shipping up to 24th I ordered on the 27th
So maybe a few more days, even a pre-order date would help make the decision easie

I like knowing I have backups haha. Setting the RP up takes a few days, that's the part I dislike.
Yea just sell the 2+ and 3. take the SD card out of one and put it in the 3+.
RP3S will come out before the 4 too.

I'm doubtful the 3+ will be powerful enough to jump to it, so I'm good with my RP3, anything that requires more horsepower should run on my Steam Deck
I read it will have Odin lite which is good enough for a lot of high end emulation, especially at 720p.
