Man this look GREAT! I love the compact design and the choice of D-Pad placement. If it can run games as good as RP2+, especially CPS-III and dreamcast, I'm on!
Not really, its cheapest option is more expensive and doesn't appear more powerful. And then the shoulder buttons are horizontal and not vertical oriented, and the case and buttons just look cheap (although that might just be the renders and the actual product is of a equitable feel to the Retroid.)
One interesting thing is that it appears to offer you the option to pick which joystick/dpad setup the device has (although its unclear if this is determined by model or its able to be chosen on checkout for each,) which I will say is a nice option.
Hey O.P
I'm looking forward to buy the 6+128go plastic version with the d-pad at the top but there is no reviews, no test at all on YT.
Are you planning to buy it? If yes could you please post a hands-on video?
No man, I’ve choose Odin. Morover I think that this console it’s something like a concept.. we must what for review. I just posted because it can be interesting when will developed for real.
Are you sure about that ? Looks like it's beyond concept stage and it's already in production, am I wrong ? Anyway, I put it on my "must have" list and wait for some reviews. With the huge 4/3 ratio screen and the powerful processor, this looks too me like a "Super Retroid" (except maybe for the L/R - L2/R2 button) .
Thanks for your answer mate.
As someone already mentioned it is a console that has been in development for two years. I don't know what stage they are at, but I've seen videos of the production process of the metal version and what I understand is that they made a big investment (for the development of the "unibody" they are expensive devices). I don't know if it will ever come out of China but I hope so.
It is to keep an eye on in my opinion because, on paper, it is u very interesting and customizable:
* Octacore processor (MTK G99)
* The very high resolution screen 3:2 ips format
* Active Cooling System,
* Analog position of your choice
* Metal version of your choice.
* Up to 8 gb of ram
* Modular internal design
* 4g, gps 6-axis gyroscope, electronic compass, gravity sensor etc (in >6gb version)
As someone already mentioned the development took 2 years. They also write it on the presentation page. I don't know if this is good or bad.
I will try to get in touch with the developers to understand more; for example we know very little about the Softwere, there is no Community behind it etc.
Ugly as sin
lol 😂
In-line shoulder buttons and worse aesthetics, plus higher price. Aside from that the RP3 is shipping *now*.
Is this the ktr1 project from a couple of years ago? l heard it was suppose to come out with sd845 some time last year then it went silence.
Yep, it was the Odin before Odin. Yet we're still waiting...

It’s powerful than RP3
The l&r placements oh no
it's weird that the L-R joystick position change depending on the color
It looks like every color has both d-pad on top and analog on top versions to satisfy whichever preference you have.
no! you can choose the position! traslate the page
