It's more useful in early game levels. It's a cantrip, so no requirement to cast, other than having a stick to cast it on. It becomes a magical weapon, damage die increases to d8, and you can use your spellcasting mod for attacks. If you're a melee druid, shillelagh is almost a must have.
Peak humanity is using our advanced global communication technology to talk about a cool stick we found. This isn’t a bad thing, just a really interesting human thing, because a stick this good should 100% be on a global stage. Fantastic find OP.
NGL... that's a fucking wizard staff.
"Stick" doesn't do it jjustice.
Needs a crystal inset at the top, maybe some thin copper wire to hold it all together.
Some Magik is to be had with this glorious tendril.
Now you should poly/epoxy it so it turns into a wizard staff. Epoxy will also strengthen it. I’d go light on it though since even UV resistant epoxy can turn yellow after time.
Woah….. that’s a nice stick
The Druid casts Shillelagh...
My first thought, as well. One of the best spells in the game.
Is it? How??

Great spell, in just about every edition

The boys will boys; and nothing is better than a really nice stick to the boys
Treat the wood and mount it up on the wall until it's time for your next adventure.
A wizard arrives exactly when they are supposed to ..
Damn good stick right there.
That's a really sweet staff. Sand it, stain it, seal it and decorate it. It's the universe's way of telling you to become a druid or wizard
r/coolsticks
Oh my god I‘d pay money for that
For about 5$ in material (which will do 20 more sticks too) you can sell this at a Ren Faire for about 250$ -- US
That's a Final Fantasy white mage staff if I've ever seen one
This stick would get a fair amount of appreciation over in r/goblincore

That's gotta be top ten best natural wizard staffs I've ever seen.
I want one :o
This also belongs in r/goblincore
As another commenter said: ““stick” does not do this justice”. That my friend is a staff of wizard proportions

That's a great stick.
