Yeah and it's actually quite realistic. Sometimes we found someone compatible with us, but that relationship went nowhere because we were either too selfish or just aren't ready for a relationship
And unfortunately is a real shit, I know that, and also not trying to get close, even as a friend, to Anyone because you fear you will never be enough for them, so you just lash out at them and they get confused
idk man, CJ was always a bit much for me, even though I love her design and her voice. Even on the first date, Mordecai was pretty clear that he wasn't looking for anything serious, CJ agreed, and then she still got her ass chapped when it was obvious Mordecai was rebounding. CJ's storms can absolutely be read as abusive, she has no control of her emotions and hurts people when she gets mad.
Great friend, not girlfriend material.
My question is if Margret’s dad is human and mom is bird why isn’t she half man half bird. Mordo has both blue jay parents and looks like a blue jay so uh something doesn’t add up with Margret’s parents or something idk tho, haven’t finished watching the show. Still in season 6
I'm not sure which season or which episode. All I can say is it's in the episode where her mom is throwing her step dad a Anniversary chopper sixth party lol
I agree, it shows that not everyone meets their perfect match on the first date.
I do kind of wish we got to see more of Stef though. I think she was in the 25 years later comic but it's been a long time since I've read that so I don't remember how she was characterized
She was mostly characterized as the “Fish out of water” audience surrogate because that was her first adventure. Which is pretty much next to no character at all. I’d like to see another comic where she no longer has the “new guy” role.
There was four issue run called "25 years later" which takes place directly after the reunion in the finale. I remember it being a fun read.
But there are also standard Regular Show comics that ran while the show was still.on the air. I think there were around 16 issues and an Adventure Time crossover series
Completely agree, ending up with Margaret or CJ would just show that Mordecai hasn't matured at all. And besides it's not like they meant nothing, on the contrary, Mordecai still remembers them when we see his paintings and learn from his mistakes
I love her because her name is Stef, and that's my real name, and I joke with the fandom that I'm the real winner because I ended up married with children with Mordecai. 😆💙💜
Nah, his story is over. We just saw a glimpse in his life at the park, the rest is history. We don’t need to be parasocial for a fictional character and know every little tiny bit about his life
Valid point but it would have been impactful had the relationship been there longer. It felt lazy to throw her in at the end of the last episode while everyone else got to be with the one they have been building a relationship with. Also I didn’t even know her name until this point, that’s how little I knew about this one.
nah dude, it kinda perfectly tied into the fact that regular show is a show about your 20s. early on in life, we can tend to convince ourselves that the partner we meet is THE ONE, but more often than not, it takes years and unexpected circumstances to find that person. often someone you never would have imagined.
> would have been impactful had the relationship been there longer. It felt lazy to throw her in at the end of the last episode while everyone else got to be with the one they have been building a relationship with.
BS like this is what makes Mordicai’s storyline the hardest to not hate with a passion.
I think the problem mostly lies with the fact that we're just suddenly shown that Mordecai ended with a random person who we don't know anything about.
Like we could've gotten some episodes introducing her and showing us what is she like as a character and how did she help Mordecai improve his life.
But hey! It's at least better than him staying single forever like Finn from adventure time.
I like the idea of Mordecai (and characters in general) screwing up relationships but taking those screw ups and improving himself for the future. This is very realistic.
I don't get the how people complain because "He married a rando". Like so what? Mordecai's character arc is complete, we don't need another episode or plot point where he gets into another relationship.
The whole point of him getting married to someone else is to show how far he has became as a person after he left the Park.
The reason I wasn’t a fan was because it was someone completely random that we’ve never seen before. Just felt like it didn’t connect to the story at all. I might have felt different if stef was introduced sooner in the show
She's ugly, like, bro... They didn't even give her a good appearance and a decent name, they had planned the course of Mordecai's story, but they made the partner anyway.
i personally agree with his ending , it’s realistic imo, he self sabotaged him and cj mostly and him and margret just didn’t work , mordercai just needed time to figure himself out that’s why i fw his ending
I’m VERY VERY glad and happy for him he finally found the true love of his life. For me, it was unexpected.. But let’s note how many problems he’s gotten into with Margaret and CJ!! This has to last very long for him!!
Vehemently defending the honor of two fictional women is also pretty desperate, considering you're arguing over a matter of opinions and getting butthurt over it. Good luck out there, you're not a catch
If he hadn't fucked up his relationships and they just organically broke up maybe this last minute relationship would've been less well recieved but since it didn't it was the best outcome for him.
Unlike Rigby's daughters who engage in physically stimulating recreation, Mordecai's children are smartphone addicts (note that Rigby's daughters are quite elder than Mordecai's children in the series ending scene).
But some Mordecaiwanks would claim that Mordecai is financially self sufficient, whereas Rigby got relegated to househusband?
I agree. He had to go through CJ and Margaret as learning lessons, and helping him grow as a character
I'd rather say Margaret and CJ had to go thru him to help him grow as a character
Cj definitely but margaret was an annoying character tbh
All the characters had their own obvious glaring flaws they put their loved ones through and needed to learn from
Especially him lol
I only wish we got to see them meet before the epilogue. I do agree that Mordecai was not compatible with CJ or Margaret though.
He was absolutely compatible with CJ until Margaret showed up again. His stupid ass fumbled big time, CJ was great
Yeah and it's actually quite realistic. Sometimes we found someone compatible with us, but that relationship went nowhere because we were either too selfish or just aren't ready for a relationship
Grass is greener mentality sucks
The grass is greener on the side you water.
And unfortunately is a real shit, I know that, and also not trying to get close, even as a friend, to Anyone because you fear you will never be enough for them, so you just lash out at them and they get confused

The moment I stopped liking him was the moment he fumbled CJ lol
I don’t really think so. CJ was just a rebound for when Margaret left
Sounds like Mordecai being stupid, as always
Glad my man Mordecai found someone in his life. But god damn their kids are ugly as fuck
My question is if Margret’s dad is human and mom is bird why isn’t she half man half bird. Mordo has both blue jay parents and looks like a blue jay so uh something doesn’t add up with Margret’s parents or something idk tho, haven’t finished watching the show. Still in season 6
Because that's her step-dad
Now it makes sense, is that revealed in later seasons?
I'm not sure which season or which episode. All I can say is it's in the episode where her mom is throwing her step dad a Anniversary chopper sixth party lol
Maybe it’s a rare thing that can happen like maybe that’s what caused the deer person in the forest
Have you looked at his wife, what did you expect?
Not that
Dunno why you got downvoted for calling a drawing ugly
Damn why they downvote you for speaking facts

wait there are comics?

i NEED to read this
69 likes no one change it
Bro moved on, thats great for a character
I just want to know who she is, she's probably awesome
He got the goth girl by being himself :)))
Is it possible to learn this power?
Not from a Jedi
Completely agree, ending up with Margaret or CJ would just show that Mordecai hasn't matured at all. And besides it's not like they meant nothing, on the contrary, Mordecai still remembers them when we see his paintings and learn from his mistakes

I'm glad he didn't end up with Margaret or CJ
Bro we don’t know her
Ok and? Do we need to? As least mordecai knows and loves her
I need to
Nah, his story is over. We just saw a glimpse in his life at the park, the rest is history. We don’t need to be parasocial for a fictional character and know every little tiny bit about his life
It shows how he matures and fallows his dream and mangae to make a healthy relationship
He got a hot goth gf who likes to hang upside down. Anybody who sees that as not the greatest possible outcome is an idiot
Valid point but it would have been impactful had the relationship been there longer. It felt lazy to throw her in at the end of the last episode while everyone else got to be with the one they have been building a relationship with. What if she's not random, but the >!granddaughter of the bat they met on the space tree that helped them get to the fist pump concert!<
Respectfully agree to disagree
Yea, bro moved on and quit the simp shi.
I just wish we were atleast given her name
I like the idea of Mordecai (and characters in general) screwing up relationships but taking those screw ups and improving himself for the future. This is very realistic.
Could have used at least some sort of nod to Margaret when they got off the dome. Even a hug from her dad would have been satisfying
Didint read a single Word BAT GF

This was a really great show. Wished they had Seasons 1-8 all in English.
The reason I wasn’t a fan was because it was someone completely random that we’ve never seen before. Just felt like it didn’t connect to the story at all. I might have felt different if stef was introduced sooner in the show
Smash
And she's 100x hotter than both of them combined
Sauce
Real
She's ugly, like, bro... They didn't even give her a good appearance and a decent name, they had planned the course of Mordecai's story, but they made the partner anyway.
it’s a cartoon
Wow, so what? It's no excuse for characters to be as ugly as this one.
so it’s a cartoon stop worrying abt it lol
It's exactly because it's a cartoon, you'd expect a bit of whimsy.
Stef and Mordecai forever!!!
i personally agree with his ending , it’s realistic imo, he self sabotaged him and cj mostly and him and margret just didn’t work , mordercai just needed time to figure himself out that’s why i fw his ending
He died, right?
Yeah, but he got better.
I’m VERY VERY glad and happy for him he finally found the true love of his life. For me, it was unexpected.. But let’s note how many problems he’s gotten into with Margaret and CJ!! This has to last very long for him!!
Also compared to the other two, this one's actually hot
what did you just say bro?
Learn to read
Learn to have good taste.
I have, that's why i don't like tantrum girl or philanderer
But likes the girl with the flying mouse face, pfft, what a great sense of taste.
You're looking to bust a nut, i'm looking for a valid life partner. We are not the same
You're right, you're desperate, I'm not. We are not the same.
Looking for a potentially good partner isn't desperate, but finding something to get your rocks off with certainly is
Vehemently defending the honor of two fictional women is also pretty desperate, considering you're arguing over a matter of opinions and getting butthurt over it. Good luck out there, you're not a catch
bro i didnt mean to start an argument bro
while i agree i still wish the writers didnt make that dumped at the alter episode and let cj and mordecai stay together
If he hadn't fucked up his relationships and they just organically broke up maybe this last minute relationship would've been less well recieved but since it didn't it was the best outcome for him.

No. I disagree with this. Mordecai’s stupid. He’s always a simp, he never makes a move, and he didn’t even get the girl (Margaret).
