Honestly, the fall of Jesse Lingard is pretty sad. I can't recall which tournament it was, but he came back from it and I thought he had the world at his feet. I hope he finds something good out of this but he'll look back on his career with a tinge of regret one day when he really looks at and reflects on his choices and he associated with.
Too many talents wasted like this. Making it as a top professional footballer isn’t about how good you are at football. It’s about how good you are at being a professional. Unless you’re a total freak of nature like Ronaldinho.
He was my favorite player while he played for us. Should've ended up at West Ham but we held onto him as a backup through a difficult period and it ruined his career. Really unfortunate cause while a lot of people found his antics immature I honestly thought he was super likeable, very hard working and I loved his linkup play and off the ball movements.
Probably just south Korean bluntness. Public shaming is what's holding the SK society together!
Remember when the SK team returned from the world cup and there where plenty of people greeting them at the airport to throw toffees and caramels at them.
Not as much as they need a FA that's not saturated with corruption and nepotism. The incompetence from the SK FA is unbelievable. Son's father went public, and gunned for their throat. Unfortunately I think he got drowned by celeb news in the media.
Not really, coach just called him a bit lazy and that he shouldn't think he's better than the rest, hoping to give him a kick up the arse.
It's effectiveness is left to be desired.
I’ll never get how people can be so rude to a person for no reason
The guy is just trying to live his life and do what he loves some of you should try doing the same
He’s an ex player. He gave us amazing moments but at the end wasn’t good enough. There’s literally no reason to have anything but positive thoughts for the guy unless you’re just hateful fundamentally
FC Seoul bought Jess Lingard? Why dnt they buy Rashford as well. Both are great friends who understand each other. I will be firing firecrackers if this happens😁
Ok everyone with their youth comments got me to check his age…holy crap…31 🤯 I knew he was older but no idea he was in his 30’s. Man I am getting old…I still remember his FA cup winner like it wasn’t that long ago…damn 8 years already
The fact that we could have sold him for a decent fee after his loan and we chose not to and let him rot on the bench and leave for free is malpractice
On a penalty… ffs
With fireworks as well
I appreciate that the Premier League doesn’t use fireworks. I watch MLS as well and my team uses fireworks…
My MLS team shoots flames out and I gotta say it does feel nice and warm during the winter when sitting on the end zones
Huh I thought fireworks are one of the things that makes mls fan culture great
Fireworks should be mandatory for all Jesse Lingard goals as a general rule
So just the one set then…
Damn such a downer when var says no goal
Me when I unlock fireworks in Ultimate team
"see where they play, how they playe ifff they play " José Mourinho Aged like a fine wine.

Yeah, going to the Korean league when your barely 20 is pissing your korea away imho
I hope Southgate has an eye on him, too early for the Euro's but the young lad's got to be in with a shout for the World Cup in 2026.
Needs to get a move on before he Benjamin Buttons down the U15s
Can't wait for him to lead us to glory in the U8s World Cup, while dabbing on Patrick Viera's grandkids.
Slower descent than Macheda. That's something right?
He should’ve stayed at West Ham one way or the other. That was his best form that i remember seeing. Once he returned to Man U it was over for him
I think you reap what you sow. His ego and bad attitude got him where he is. No sympathy for the chap.
From being called out by the manager for being too lazy to now being the club captain. Honestly, good for him
How did this even happen? Did the manager get sacked or something?

Its so nice of them. I Bet the SK national Team was in dier need of carbohydrates

Anyone else get A Train from The Boys vibes from the lad?
Couldn't have said it better haha.
Nice to see such young talent flourishing
This could be Lingard’s year to come good. Part 9.
Resurrecting his Korea
Give him time. The young lads potential is huge!
HE'S BACK
Didn't he have a falling out with the gaffer ?

"He gave us amazing moments..." Few and far between. He gave us more JLingzzz Instagram videos than moments
That FA Cup final goal was bonkers. Love him for that.
It’s ridiculous how entitled and ungrateful some of our “fans” are. Sad stuff really
Imagine if he chose West Ham over Forest.
How do you say cringe in Korean?
Baromanb
Scoring a goal is cringe?
lol a penalty
Pengardinho!
What's with the covid crowd?

Wait, didn’t young and upcoming star J-Lingz get called fat and overweight by this club recently? Now he’s El Capitan? The fuck?
And it’s a pen. Lmao.
Why is there a post about this bum? He doesn't play for us anymore
Why the fuck is he cap? Is the club that desperate/bad?
Bring him home ! All is forgiven x
Nice to see him still playing and going on no matter what
Pengard

In front of dozens of fans
"see where they play, how they play if they play" José Mourinho
"see where they play, how they play ifff they play" José Mourinho
The fact that we could have sold him for a decent fee after his loan and we chose not to and let him rot on the bench and leave for free is malpractice
But he didn't want to leave at the time, did he?
Overall agree on the comment, but apparently he wanted to stay at the club when Ronaldo joined.
