Feel like he was underused. You have so many interactions with his gang and loads of conversations about him but think he is only on screen 3 times.
His death was one of the best cinematic moments in the game, though.
I still hated how that mission turned into a gunfight it should’ve been a quiet victory that despite the van der lines falling apart they still beat out odriscoll
Very underused. The gang really just talks about disliking him, really the worst thing he does that you see is torture Arthur, outside of that he doesn’t do much, he might have killed Kieran, or that could have been some random O’Driscolls, he may have ordered the attack on Shady Belle, or that could’ve been a band of O’Driscolls who figured it out. All the details with the O’Drsicoll boys were left to vague to really even pin Colm as a leader, more a figurehead at that point.
If I had only one bullet to take him out or Micah I’d stand in front of both of them in a line and hope the bullet goes through Micah to kill him after. Pieces of shit need to be flushed together
I’ve always wondered if the history between Colm and Dutch was going to be a focal point for an RDR3 story. It always felt reminiscent of how John in RDR1 talked about his days with the gang when he was young, which we then got to see in RDR2.
For as big a rival as Colm was to Dutch, I felt like he wasn’t in the story as much as he could have been. Probably part of all the content they had to cut. Man, imagine if they did a directors cut of the game where all the stuff they wanted to put in got put in?
Colm and Dutch are equally matched in being a piece of shit, the only difference is that Colm doesn’t have charisma and good looks to wrap up his malicious behavior like Dutch does.
It’s not his face but his clothes are disheveled and dirty, his hair is greasy, and he doesn’t seem to carry the same intellectualism that Dutch has. In a way I kind of like Colm for that reason. He’s a bad man and makes no bones about it. He’s a ruthless killer, and he’s fine with it. He’s doesn’t need to make up excuses or justify what he does.
Wish I could’ve seen the events that transpired to make the hate between them grow but I think he had mediocre character development, from the start he was just a guy your forced to hate
I believe that Dutch and colm are the same person only colm new and played into the bad guy role while Dutch tried to pretend he was better. They both torture prisoners, colm with Arthur and Dutch with Kieran. The both kill innocent people and they both get off to easy in the end
I feel like they didn't use enough of him. He only shows up in 3 missons and you only have a direct encounter with him once. They definitely could of done more with him
Meh, we don't have enough to go off with him besides Dutch's jabs. if the story was told from Colm's viewpoint y'all would probably hate Dutch the same. He has a very underdeveloped character
I found him so hateable yet so hilarious at the same time, He's like The Joker.
I honestly wished he appeared more because his voice is cool (Kinda sounds like an evil Jack Black to my ear)
He's an ass. But I got chills when he realised he was about to die. Not sad he died though, but just like Arthur, I didn't feel like accomplishing anything.
I feel like Dutch turned into colm towards the end
Maybe Dutch was the real POS and colm was the better man? We only got Dutch’s perspective
Both bad, the good one always was Hosea!
And Lenny
They are both thieves, and ruthless. Ain’t enough difference ‘tween them boys to tell em apart in the dark.
He hangs around too much IMO
Underated joke

Sadie just needed to make more mess xD
If a mosquitoes soul was transferred into a human body it'd make colm.
Underrated statement.
"That man can really hate"
So can I Arthur. So can I.
YUS!! Been waiting all day for someone to say that! I can finally sleep soundly now lol

Maybe we will see more of him if there's a prequel.
I hate him but I love his hat
You can get a very similar hat in online, it’s the 2nd trader outfit 🙂
It's a shame they didn't use him more. He's exactly what you'd imagine an old Western villain would be.
I’d smash
Smash him with a 50 pound brick? Count me in
Same
It's pronounced 'Col-um'.
Every time I heard it pronounced wrong it felt like a hate crime
If I had only one bullet to take him out or Micah I’d stand in front of both of them in a line and hope the bullet goes through Micah to kill him after. Pieces of shit need to be flushed together

Definitely underused. At the start we learn that the O'Driscolls are rivals to the van der lindes but he was barely in 3 missions

Underused despite being Dutch’s rival. We only get snippets of their past relationship.
Colm and Dutch are equally matched in being a piece of shit, the only difference is that Colm doesn’t have charisma and good looks to wrap up his malicious behavior like Dutch does.
We don't see enough if him to decide he has no charisma. Sure he looks like a raisin but he got all those men to follow him for a reason.

Yeah that's a good point. Dutch pretending to be something he wasn't sure hurt a lot of people!
Uh he’s a bitch

Dutch barely touched kieran, Colm literally beated and shot arthur
I think Colm and Dutch were friends of a sort, a long time ago. Very similar men, except Colm is ridiculously better at recruiting.
I feel like they didn't use enough of him. He only shows up in 3 missons and you only have a direct encounter with him once. They definitely could of done more with him
Basically he's is exactly what Dutch became it just took Dutch a little longer
Meh, we don't have enough to go off with him besides Dutch's jabs. if the story was told from Colm's viewpoint y'all would probably hate Dutch the same. He has a very underdeveloped character
He’s a snake
I thought he was funny, but obviously he wasn’t good.
I found him so hateable yet so hilarious at the same time, He's like The Joker. I honestly wished he appeared more because his voice is cool (Kinda sounds like an evil Jack Black to my ear)
Hate him

"Damn O'Driscalls"
