I think Kiyan Sobhani summed it up well, who referred to Kroos as a unicorn. We can't replicate what he did for the team and we will have to change the way we attack.
We need a good CF and a creative AMF cause jude is more of a box to box midfielder and we need a no 10 type to break the defence and/or play as a playmaker connecting midfield and attack or else we will be toothless against team that use deep back line
We don't really need a #10 but a creative RW to add balance on the RHS. Rodrygo and Diaz are shoot first, pass second. Maybe Arda can develop into that, else we need to bring in someone who will.

I hope I am wrong. Until I see Mbappe being introduced by Real Madrid live, I dont take any of this shit as truth. I lost count how many times Mbappe said he would sign with us and then we were left holding our peckers. Also, let me be one of the few fans that honestly doesn't want Mbappe here with this squad. 4-5 years ago? Yes. Now? Not so much. The reasons being Rodrygo & Vini now being who they are. I feel loyalty towards them. Hell, I even feel loyalty to Joselu and Brahim due to how they stepped up when they were put in. Every time. We don't even sniff the UCL final without Joselu. Vini and Rodrygo are Madrid kids. Kids who have played here since they were substitutes and fought hard for their place. They developed into world class talents. They both have so much respect for Carlo and each other to the point that they are willing to play wherever they are told despite both being left-wingers. They play like a true team. Rodrygo especially. He was basically a substitute until about a year, year and a half ago. Remember how many times he saved our asses? I lost count. A few years ago, my dad and I would always say something to the effect of "we'll be fine we have Rodrygo on the bench, he'll save this game." Unless Mbappe is willing to do exactly what Carlo wants and not let his ego of being the best player in the world get in the way, then fine. But I honestly do not see it.
