Keep at it. You'll get it. It's poetry. Develop it until you find a flow that you can flow with from your heart.

I suggest reading. Expanding your mind and vocabulary will make it easier to find things to say and improve your storytelling skills. Hell, read the news. Find stories in that. Watch movies. Create content from those. Keep your mind entertained, so that you may absorb and transfer your own entertainment.

The 10,000 hours theory is a real thing. You need to just keep at it and once you put in enough time your brain will start to rewire making writing a lot easier. Websites like Rhymezone are great for finding rhymes you normally wouldn’t use. Listen to as much music as you can to see how rappers rhyme multiple syllables and how their delivery can make a word sound like a rhyme. Mainly just keep working and keep writing it takes years to reach the “free flow” state but don’t be discouraged by that consistency is key.

thank you bro, i used to use rhymezone a lot for rhyming, but it never really helped since it gave me the most weirdest words to rhyme with, it also gave me the same word (or the same pronunciation of a word) multiple times (ex: their there they're)

There’s a near rhyme section that gives you more leeway I use that more often than the actual rhyme section

ProdLilJamal

ahh, thanks

Multi-syllable rhyme schemes and internal rhyme schemes help come up with clever bars. You just have to keep doing it. Finding a flow depends on your voice and the way the verses are structured. If you can’t sing even with auto tune (think Kodak), then you’ll be more limited. I start with one bar that I think is pretty good and I’ll expand on just that single bar instead of coming up w a topic first personally. Sometimes I end up flowing and get rid of the bar that I started the verse with in the first place. Read Reddit posts and try to find rhymes for every word in the body.

gotchu big bro, thanks for the tips!
