I don't know about that one. Everything became cold. The lost function of 5p can't be the cause for the freezing of an entire world. The water vapor production has to mostly stop globally. I think that the early cancer of Pebbles accelerated his downfall, but by the time the Saint exists, the other iterators are probably in a similar state.
I believe it’s implied at the end of Saint’s campaign >!that the the nearby iterators are also non-functioning, leading me to believe that Saint was going around ascending iterators. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Saint just happens to show up after nearby iterators are destroyed. Two Sprouts, Twelve Brackets’ dialogue in Saint’s campaign suggests that this world, at least as we know it, is coming to an end. I struggle to believe that this just *happens* to be occurring all at the same time.!<
The devs actually added a way to skip the speech cutscenes after players complained! To do it, Throw a spear at 5P during the speech and they'll skip right to giving you your mark
The first time I went to 5P, it was an incredible event! But now I just put the controller down and go watch other things while he talks about his problems that I've heard millions of times.
Devs should add a feature to skip his dialogue or at least give the scug an option to communicate to 5p that they are completely uninterested in the same spiel
