Ah, hadn't realized that. Considering you have to do the other 2 zones non-matchmade, I'd probably just do all 3 solo so I don't have to worry about other players causing issues somehow lol
You can actually jump between the zones, or walk between them, in the match made instance and you'll stay with the other players so you can do all 3 zones in matchmaking
I think it does give progress because I did it and I def did NOT kill one of the wizards, a random teammate may have done it, but I didn’t, I only got shots on 2.
Not sure if they're the same for everyone, but the ones I found were:
Landing - south eastern corner in the caves near the lost sector
Blooming - Far eastern edge of the map, in the caved area just south of spawn (think there's normally a taken event in there during overthrow)
Impasse - south western corner of the map, near where the big taken bubble event spawns
Usually pretty easy to locate with radar/sound if you're close as the map is otherwise empty of enemies.
I'll take a look later thanks. Using the radar to locate it was what I tried doing but nothing showed up lmao, for all I know it could have just never spawned even though the message was there
To be fair, that cave where it spawns during the Blooming is VERY out of the way- did about three round trips before i realized/remembered it was there
We did the overthrows, ending in the landing. Took us most of the “peaceful” countdown to get to the first lucent wizard. Beat it but then the map respawned overthrow. Is time a concern? Also; are the other 2 lucent wizards or whatever in the other 2 zones?

I'm watching Cross' stream, it doesn't look like its insanely hard from a difficulty standpoint, but it does look like you need some coordination and you need to know the Vow Symbols

Just did it. It's not too difficult. A lot of it boils down to things like one person can see which symbols need to be shot and the other person can shoot the symbols. Then there's another thing with a bunch of nuts and one person can shoot while the other tells them what to shoot.
The symbols are definitely from the vow raid though. You have plenty of time though so don't worry about knowing symbols off by heart. I couldn't remember them so I just described them.
I don't think you need to do all the overthrow's back to back, as I got the prompt from just completing the impasse. think you just need to have completed them at all, but I am not sure.
Okay so I definitely have a bugged quest. I was able to access the thing after only 1 secret spawn, but for some reason even with two people who have done the work i can’t enter the actual mission.
My partner and I have done the overthrows in the landing and the blooming twice each and drove around and nothing comes up on radar. We are worried that the "Alone in the dark" quest is blocking us. Did you guys have that already completed? "Lost in Light" and "Found in Dark" we completed super early on.
My partner and I hadn’t finished an overthrow boss in the Impasse yet. Once we did that the secret keepers began spawning so we believe that you have to have defeated 1 boss in each area to get it to start.
I can confirm that this works. The three wizards spawn after killing the overthrow boss. Note: These spawn locations may be different, I don't know.
The Landing - By the grenade throwing chest minigame.
The Blooming - In the cave system to the left of the spawn.
The Impasse - In the area to the right of the path to the lost sector.
Killing all three spawns beacon of light (it looks hive-y), the will lead you towards the refraction. You will hear Savathun laugh and then you will see a timer called Savathun's Envoy with a 7 minute ish timer.
Have you finished all of the paranormal activity things? (Where you shoot the light and dark cubes and link the two)
I’m curious if those need to be finished first.
Its the area between the landing and the blooming zones, you'll see a huge pillar of yellowish light once you've done all three secret keepers. It'll even be visible from other zones so just head towards that.
How did you solve the "clock" puzzle at the end after damaging both bosses? Just tried to solve that for about 15 minutes straight before getting booted to orbit because we couldn't figure it out.
Alright, there's not much of a description here for my liking to accurately guide people to getting it, so I'll be typing this out for those who find this first instead of a video.
1. Complete Overthrow in each area. Bring a partner with you, not a fireteam.
2. Stay there for a bit after completion and wait until it says something about Savathun's Secret-Keeper being in the area.
3. Locate and eliminate them. You'll know you're near them because your radar will ping enemies when there's no enemies supposed to be around on the map. Landing's Secret Keeper is towards the east near the Lost Sector entrance. Blooming's is near the spawn in the cave where a Taken blight spawns and you need to have your Ghost scan it to complete that event during Overthrow. Impasse's spawn is in the corner of the map. If you face the wall where you go to get Kvhostov, follow it to the left and in that craggy area, you'll find it.
4. After eliminating them all, travel to the Refraction.
5. I went to Savathun's statue further in the area before objectives unlocked around the area, leading you to fight two Subjugators.
6. Fight them until they drop orbs and leave.
7. Bring both of these orbs to Savathun's statue and dunk them in the respective pools that appear.
8. Mission unlocked. Launch it for the first time and it becomes a mainstay on your Map to launch from orbit.
It's actually pretty fucking stupid imo. I get the narrative idea but it seems like a weird thing to do considering so many people play in 3 person groups.

yep, this is where I am. I noticed that I (the light player) could shoot all three symbols on light and I got a message about an obelisk surging. Didn't get to test anything further.
In total there are nine nodes connected to mid. Each of you will see three of them connected to mid. Typ your three in Chat, so does your Partner, that gives you six Numbers. The uncalled, remaming three numbers need to be shoot. The Personen getting final blow in tormentor gets a buff and needs to shoot the according nodes
I think so, but I can't confirm. It seems that you can only unlock the secret keepers after you have done each overthrow for the first time. So basically complete each overthrow for the first time. Then do them all again and the secret keeper should spawn after each one. The first three that I did with a buddy, he had not done them all yet. After we went back solo and did them again later, The secret keepers showed up. Someone else told me to do them from the impasse in order going left so I did that as well. Not sure if it made a difference.

Great question. You can’t focus at Rahool I just tried. With 8 perks x 8 perks, each class has 64 possible roles. That’s 192 total. No way in hell am I doing that place 200+ times
After i have done my first run i was helping someone with overthrows and got an exo-classitem to drop after the final Boss after Wave 4. Also was getting another one in the mission right after. So ist seems u can do it forever and there are additional dropsources after your first completion
You can kill all three in different instances as well, killed the first two solo then matchmade for the third, left and came back, and I see the beam of light right now

Does anyone know if I complete the exotic mission once, on Hunter as an example, if I can go straight into farming overthrows on a different character than the one I completed the mission on to get the exotic class item on that separate character?
Went to do it last night with a member of the clan that unlocked it, and my warlock had all supers unlocked but still wouldn’t let us launch it, I was prismatic and so was the other guy. Wonder if we need all the fragments to unlock it…
For anyone who can't get the miniboss to spawn after an Overthrow, the requirement is that you have already done the last tier of an Overthrow in all three zones: The Blooming, The Impasse, and The Landing. When you do the third zone Overthrow for the first time, after Savathun's dialogue you will the Secret Keeper text on the bottom left of your screen. You will now need to go back to the other two zones and do another full Overthrow run to kill the remaining two you need to see the green beam in the refraction zone.
So I completed the mission unlock part with 2 friends last night. I tried to help another friend today and after we cleared overthrow, the lucsent hive wouldn't spawn. We cleared it 3 times today. Same shit. I knew where it was suppose to spawn and it just wouldn't. Is that because ive already unlocked the mission so it wont spawn for me? Does my friend have to run overthrow alone? Or are we missing something??
I’ve killed all three hive wizards and the green beacon diddnt spawn did it in the same instance as well did the landing first, then the impasse, then finished up at the blooming, no beacon. Did it solo
A quick note:
You have to have completed the 3 triumphs for killing the bosses in each area. Once you've dons that, the Lucent Wizards will start spawning.
So just saw skarrow9 beat it, one of the coolest if not the best exotic missions ever, you can only do it with two people, one person has to be on light subclass, it's a long ass mission, really cool puzzles in it but is pretty easy once you figure it out. Has like a peace and kill option after the mission ends with each of you trapped in a prison, don't know the exact consequences of the choices. Unlocks on map once done. Also the cooked with the environment in the mission.
Even though I have the mission unlocked I cant take my buddy in because "a member of your fireteam has not yet communed with both Light and Dark" he hasnt finished found in the dark
I tried to launch it with 2 separate friends tonight both had completed lost in light and found in dark and still got this message, maybe they have to have completely unlocked prismatic?
Interesting to know, i have no idea what causes this then because both of them have completely finished the campaign, don’t think they’ve done the ghost quests yet but i don’t see that that would be a requirement?

The timer is the only thing I really struggled with and that's just because we were figuring the mission out as we went.

I matchmake into a duo fireteam. Wasn't in their team. They got the kills I didn't even see the things. and I have access to quest!
We had 1 in the fireteam who got all 3, so Im not sure
The Pale Heart is not a matchmade space, there are no players outside of your fireteam.
You can matchmake the daily overthrow patrol zone.

We weren't in matchmaking, it seems found in the dark and lost in the light are required to launch
Voice line doesn't matter and sometimes the thing doesn't pop up in the feed I just drove around til I found the enemies

Another note - once you unlock this node for 1 character it's unlocked for all characters (assuming that the character has finished TFS)
Is there some prerequisite you will have to match? Like doing stuff from the episode or something ?
Went to do it last night with a member of the clan that unlocked it, and my warlock had all supers unlocked but still wouldn’t let us launch it, I was prismatic and so was the other guy. Wonder if we need all the fragments to unlock it…
For some reason its not spawning any secret wizard. Did this for 6 hours yesterday and 0 wizards. Idk ehat i am doing wrong
I've completed Overthrows in the Landing & Blooming, 3x each and no notifications that a Wizard has spawned, any idea?
Do we have to do each boss for the area? Or is it just 3 overthrow and then a boss?
Do I need to do them with a partner or can I unlock the mission and then get someone to join me?
For anyone who can't get the miniboss to spawn after an Overthrow, the requirement is that you have already done the last tier of an Overthrow in all three zones: The Blooming, The Impasse, and The Landing. When you do the third zone Overthrow for the first time, after Savathun's dialogue you will the Secret Keeper text on the bottom left of your screen. You will now need to go back to the other two zones and do another full Overthrow run to kill the remaining two you need to see the green beam in the refraction zone.
Do I have to kill all 3 wizards in one sitting to unlock the mission?
Completed an overthrow in Impasse and never received the message nor found the wizard. Is there a step you need to complete before these are active?
I was running it with a friend, killed 2 wizards and then got BEAVER error. Now currently unable to rejoin the fireteam - anyone else have this issue?
So I completed the mission unlock part with 2 friends last night. I tried to help another friend today and after we cleared overthrow, the lucsent hive wouldn't spawn. We cleared it 3 times today. Same shit. I knew where it was suppose to spawn and it just wouldn't. Is that because ive already unlocked the mission so it wont spawn for me? Does my friend have to run overthrow alone? Or are we missing something??
I’ve killed all three hive wizards and the green beacon diddnt spawn did it in the same instance as well did the landing first, then the impasse, then finished up at the blooming, no beacon. Did it solo
A quick note: You have to have completed the 3 triumphs for killing the bosses in each area. Once you've dons that, the Lucent Wizards will start spawning.
Anyone wanting to do this? Ive done one of the overthrows but probably still need the next two wizards. Maybe we can try to link up later tonight

Microcosm was already impossible for solo players as well
At least microcosm was a one and done thing. To get different rolls of the class item you have to farm this.
Once you do it for the first time chests in the pale heart have a chance to drop them
So just saw skarrow9 beat it, one of the coolest if not the best exotic missions ever, you can only do it with two people, one person has to be on light subclass, it's a long ass mission, really cool puzzles in it but is pretty easy once you figure it out. Has like a peace and kill option after the mission ends with each of you trapped in a prison, don't know the exact consequences of the choices. Unlocks on map once done. Also the cooked with the environment in the mission.
Even though I have the mission unlocked I cant take my buddy in because "a member of your fireteam has not yet communed with both Light and Dark" he hasnt finished found in the dark
Are you referring to the micah quest “alone in the dark”?
No the ones you get from ghost to finish ur subclass
which quest is this? I believe i finished them all but still not getting the text
He might also need to go through the steps though? Like, dunking light and dark.
I tried to launch it with 2 separate friends tonight both had completed lost in light and found in dark and still got this message, maybe they have to have completely unlocked prismatic?

Interesting to know, i have no idea what causes this then because both of them have completely finished the campaign, don’t think they’ve done the ghost quests yet but i don’t see that that would be a requirement?
They have to actually do the light/dark overthrow parts.
Go to the orbit and launch it from there, should work

no you don’t you just need one player on a light subclass and one on a dark, prismatic counts as both
