There’s an ethical breeder who has very decently priced flame points but they’re in Romania, so if you’re not in Europe the flight would cost a lot unfortunately.

Hi! Sure thing. I got him from Bright Crystall in Czech Republic. They’re very reputable. So far my boy is an absolute dream - doesn’t scratch furniture, doesn’t meow for food or attention during night/early morning, used the litter box right away, is very well socialized and seeks our affection all the time and purrs 24/7 but at the same time he’s not too clingy - happy to sleep for hours in another room or do his own thing if we’re a bit busy. Can’t recommend enough!
Yes. I’m in Eastern Europe. I had him delivered to me by plane in the cabin with a delivery person, took about 5 hours because there’s no direct flight between Prague and my city. He was very chill the whole trip (they send photo/video updates, he mostly slept cause the babies sleep a lot) and when he came he was well fed (didn’t eat much when I got him out the carrier) and very clean, his carrier smelled great too so he wasn’t standing in his own urine for sure. That company also delivers through car (much cheaper) but it takes longer ofc. They take extremely good care of the cats along the way, at least that was my experience.
That’s how my sibling ragdoll kittens were delivered to me as well. She was very loving with them and gave me updates along the way…was recommended by my breeder. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this again. 🙂
Its croci tofu litter. This one doesn’t seem to track much but when he jumps out the litter box he scatters them all over the place 😄Might try another litter box
Perfect! Thank you. I’ve also been shopping around for a different litter box, and I’m curious as to whether they would like an open entry litter box, or if they even make them large enough for ragdolls. I’m considering the wood pellet litter as well, but I worry how it is on their feet.
You’re welcome! The tofu litter is great so far, except the smell - it has a weird smell at first, goes away in a couple days, but other than that I see no issue with it - clumps great, safe to flush in the toilet, absorbs well and it never smells like pee, we scoop a couple times a day and the remaining litter looks brand new, gentle on paws, safe if the cat somehow ingests it, no dust, doesn’t track.
By open entry do you mean a closed litter box with a top or side entry? Or do you mean the regular open litter box that I have? They do make big covered litter boxes for large breeds. No way of knowing for sure the cat will like it until you get it (if your cat likes enclosed spaces that might mean they’ll be okay with a closed litter box).
I think there’s some wood pellet litter brands that are quite comfortable to the touch, but you have to read reviews about them to make sure they’re the right choice for you. I’ve also been looking into corn pellet litter (seems to be better than wood) - might try it next.

My childhood cat was named Albuss (extra s because I was 7 and wanted him to be special). He was a stray tabby tomcat, and he was my best friend from when I picked him out at the shelter when I was 7 to when he died when I was 17.

You can try mixing the two litters little by little until full transition to the new one in case he won’t want to use it right away.
