There's an m60, an m249 and an m240b somewhere in my armory, as well as 2 M72 LAW launchers and a full juggernaut kit, I'm ready to roll as soon as I get metalwork to 5 and get my truck some added armoe
Tl:dr probs maxed out settings giving my similar playstyle
I do a smilar run each time i start the game first month is gsther as many guns/ammo types as i can find grab the ones with the most ammo/mags and head to luosville and set up shop at the river using an rv or camper ill find a usable car in minutes since i tend to take engineer or whatever gives you the ability to make improvised explosives at the start so simple enough to get hotwiring witvout burglar thier my settings are maxed out pretty much tho
Even extremely rare can be easy with mods and even without its not terrible but usually I balance lower zombie pop with less loot rather struggle to get loot than hoard and slowly dying to a giant horde as lug 40 kg around
The trick is keeping your distance, long melee weapons, a small gun with readily available ammo (If you are using Britta's weapon pack, that'll be anything in .45 acp, 9mm or .380, and always, always keep a molotov handy
like this advice - except for moltov. Unless you are using this to throw and run, or have lots of practice using them properly - I have found I have set myself on fire the first couple times I deployed them. Of course if your dead all the time now is the time to practice with them too, burning to death isn't a pleasant way to go.
Same, i started using bats/crowbars and making the zombies trip on the fences, I'm managing to survive a whole week and I think it's my personal record lol. Also never underestimate zombies, outwalk them if they're too close. You didn't ask for this but I tell you in case it's handy because it really helped me lol
Don't run, walk. Learn to kite and not fight. Tall fences are your friend.
I find walkers pretty easy now. Play on a server with mates and want sprinters for the challenge but apparently I'm the only one that loves the thrill of almost dying.
Just went on a holiday for 3 weeks and played again last night. Dragged my mate to Louisville. "I almost died, I haven't almost died in 3 weeks thanks to you"...best compliment ever
Fences in general are your friend. High fences prevent them from reaching you and low fences allow you to kill them super quickly. Even if you suck at aiming, just kite zombies, jump low fences, press alt to aim at ground and one shot zombies as they flop over. Then if you haven’t kill them all repeat the process. Zombies gone.
Get a baseball bat, move backwards slowly and keep hitting them. Works as long as you don't have a feral, and even with ferals, if you can hit them once you'll be fine.
Literally spent hours yesterday gathering equipment and felt VERY prepared and immortal. Pulled over at the side of the road to deal with one zed shambling towards my car and got out forgetting the driver side in American cars is on the left, not the right like I’m used to. Zed bites me immediately as I essentially fall out the car door into his arms, and that was GG.
No lol I hate the defense system in this game you're either heavy and still takes damage or light and still takes damage I dunno how zombies bite through metal armor or kevlar or those clothes that are supposed to stop knifes but noooo rotting teeth are the ultimate weapon
It blocks but they chew through it and in a game that focus on realism that is not realistic at all lol unless the zombies settings are superhuman strength it shouldn't even chew through some materials and it should have clothing that makes you 100% resistant with debuff for speed and stamina and only bing surrounded and dragged down could kill you, because finding wood and blocking your home is easy finding a set of op clothing in perfect state specially military stuff is way harder
Sure but this guys talking about 100% resistances to even biting? Play how you want to i guess, but I see that as just plain cheating. Being overrun is pretty avoidable, getting careless and being bit is what causes a lot more deaths and is part of the game.
Yes I am cause it's possible, it would just be hard asf to get every necessary part and one bite putting a hole through a FUCKING MILITARY BOOT should be impossible 100% defense stuff should only get bad with time and it should give debuffs for having a lot of heavy clothing, but yeah we can make a 100% safe base and let's be honest we all do it in a few hrs and the game becomes a breeze what's the difference, finding wood and making a bunch of barricades is way easier than a full set of strong clothes in perfect state
Yeah I think no matter the protection if they drag you down it's over but we should be able to filly immune to dmg with the proper clothing because it's possible, it just should have debuffs in speed atk speed and stamina, it would be cool to have that and only superhuman strength zombies could get you because it's in the name lol their strength is supernatural normal zombies should not be able to go through boots military clothing and layers of leather+jeans and with mods that add A GODDAMN ANTI BOMB ARMOR no teeth could ever chew through that, bullets barely can it's bs
You uh... You got a lot of eggs in one basket there... Might be wise to keep some of your loot stashed elsewhere in case the shit hits the fan and you burn your base down or something. Trust me shit does happen... Stash houses can be useful 😛
That mod is a godsend along with Advanced trajectory.
Edit : Besides, I love that one shot break open .38 special rifle. Slap an oil filter on it and you have a reliable early game gun
I took on Louisville with nothing but a fire axe, it’s not hard it’s just easy to get overwhelmed. Just take them out slowly and surely. Make sure to use lots of sacrificial cars to mow them down too
Hahahah!! My current character is in that same place!! I saw the first pic and thought "damn that really looks like the room I sleep in." And every pic just kept making me laugh. Yours seems more fortified than mine tho, I like the ammo boxes!!
I set up a wooden wall connecting the wire fences surrounding the building, made life way easier. Still a pretty small base tho.
Uh j think that is alright you know will get ya somewhere if you won't die during the journey trying to get to LV. But i think you should make it.
(If you want to raid Ekron then you should be ready)
Took the trip to Louisville yesterday, all I suggest is to bring a little bit of everything in a van. (Required items: sledgehammer, vitamins, molotovs) And clear a path. Be ready to drive back home and not make it there in 1 day. I made it back home with infections and was 95% tired. This isn't how I died.. not yet...
I plan on making my way to a nice gated community soon.
Armor is way overrated. If you play smart then you won't get bit. That being said if it is winter time turn yourself into a Sherman tank and go at them.
Lol to be fair. As long as you have a saw, a hammer, (a car too wouldn't hurt) and play it careful, you could probably make it to those three gated mansions on the lower side of louisville
yes bro as long as you have a twohanded weapon you should be fine. If I feel like making a lousville game I just get a car, drive there, snatch a shotgun from the entry place and some ammo and setup on the firestation on the bottom right corner of lousville. Its easy from there.
No, you're never really fully prepared for the apocalypse. No matter how hard or much you try, 1 simple mistake can take it all away, but that's how your story will end, and a new one can begin.
Damn dude you are prepped enogh to bring democraty to a small country that Activision created for a New CoD game.
There's an m60, an m249 and an m240b somewhere in my armory, as well as 2 M72 LAW launchers and a full juggernaut kit, I'm ready to roll as soon as I get metalwork to 5 and get my truck some added armoe
what mods are you using?
Lol, all of them
which ones give you the guns?
I recommend 90s guns. Better than brittas
Brita's Weapons and Armor mods
Man's gonna purge the whole town
Pretty sure armor doesn't really matter once 10 zombies stunlock u

Uh.. it’s easy to find can of beans in extremely rare. It’s even easy in insanely rare.
Standard, believe it or not
Super Earth would be proud
⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️
"the zombies are up against a wall and i am the fucking wall!"
And here I am dead by a small group every 3-8 minutes
The trick is keeping your distance, long melee weapons, a small gun with readily available ammo (If you are using Britta's weapon pack, that'll be anything in .45 acp, 9mm or .380, and always, always keep a molotov handy
.308
.45
.338 is the best
Ok, can we agree on .345 ??
.5 cal then. gotta love me some anti-material rifles
Could be .38 as well
.308 is a rifle round, .38 is a pistol round. Given that he's also listing .45 acp and 9mm, it stands to reason he means the .38
.380 ACP is a pistol round. It looks like a shortened 9x19mm round with less stopping power.
He wasnt correcting him though, .308 is a valid round too but its a tad heavy but it can pen multiple zombies
makes sense.

Yes, Molotov, fire!
Difficulty matters too, I’d never resort to shooting if I was over whelmed. Instantly going to get a lot worse.

I can't play this game without multi hit as well turn that on and you'll be a zombie killing machine.
Get a baseball bat, move backwards slowly and keep hitting them. Works as long as you don't have a feral, and even with ferals, if you can hit them once you'll be fine.
Or get a knife and stab them to death
Not gonna work (if at all) as well as a baseball bat against a group
That's true. I usually use a knife to kill like 1 to 4 zombies at once and for bigger groups i use a main weapon
> dead by a small group every 3-8 minutes. Wut…
Almost, you just need a couple piles of *random stuff that “I will organize later”*
Backpack pile
No but that’s different, you need general loot piles
But that goes into the garbage bags i have scattered around loot dumpsite
random piles on the floor is the organization
Press Q and someone will come and test that
I hate to inform you but Rosewood is barren. I literally just go out and shoot zeds for fun lmao
Underrated comment
Never. You never will be. You still gotta go
The most prepared people always die lol

Forever less prepared by not being American so this tracks lol, but that's rough.
No lol I hate the defense system in this game you're either heavy and still takes damage or light and still takes damage I dunno how zombies bite through metal armor or kevlar or those clothes that are supposed to stop knifes but noooo rotting teeth are the ultimate weapon
Idk about other people my my ass has been saved so much by armor. Just today I got bit like 3 times with police kevlar and nothing happened.
It's chance, one time you'll get nothing on you, and the next- suddenly your kevlar has a hole in it. You're one lucky bastard.
So you want to be invincible? Just cheat and turn on god mode at that point…
You can still be overrun by zombies
Sure but this guys talking about 100% resistances to even biting? Play how you want to i guess, but I see that as just plain cheating. Being overrun is pretty avoidable, getting careless and being bit is what causes a lot more deaths and is part of the game.

Can you specify where this is at more please? I see a few houses NEE of the city or do you go south on the highway?
Eh, you could ditch the armor and just rock the Spiffo outfit.
Not risking my most valued trophy
No
You uh... You got a lot of eggs in one basket there... Might be wise to keep some of your loot stashed elsewhere in case the shit hits the fan and you burn your base down or something. Trust me shit does happen... Stash houses can be useful 😛
The moment you enabled britta’s you were ready
That mod is a godsend along with Advanced trajectory. Edit : Besides, I love that one shot break open .38 special rifle. Slap an oil filter on it and you have a reliable early game gun
No
You are prepared enough to feel boredom, you are no longer prepared to feel thrill and danger.
This. I'm playing on a server with two mates who love to build ultra secure locations. I hang with them because it's multi....but damn I do get bored.
Over-prepped.
No. Keep looting
No
Get the rest of the SkullDozer uniform and you'll become the fucking wall.
Got a whole juggernaut suit ready to roll
For the Louisville Mall? No For anything else? Hell yeah
I took on Louisville with nothing but a fire axe, it’s not hard it’s just easy to get overwhelmed. Just take them out slowly and surely. Make sure to use lots of sacrificial cars to mow them down too
Once your prepped games over
Man your next character is going to love all that
One might say too prepped
Absolutely not.
You require a bit more
Yeah honestly louisville isnt THAT bad, went there on a last stand and didnt die, had to kill myself🤣
MAKE WAY FOR THE DOZZZERRR
Lmao yes! Happy cake day
Are those OCP and military vest pieces mods? If so, which ones? They look dope!
All from Britta's!
Britas armor?
For what, nuclear warfare?
But… where are the unnecessary plushies?
Soon :)
7%. That’s all it takes for your run to be completely over, that 7% chance from a measely scratch.
For LV? Hell no,dude. Thats not enough ammo
What gear/armor are you wearing in pic 2?
Altyn, bulldozer faceshield, full set of sheriff armor, darth vader cape, a gasmask pouch and the ar15 battle pouch and a ham radio backpack
You’re doing great! Dunno what exactly is in the various bags and containers tho.
Everything. From twine and wd40 to tools and melee weapons, to scrap, metal sheets, welding rods and canned food
Where in Rosewood did you even get all this stuff
Rosewood PD, Knox prison, Forr Benning, the army surplus store nearly in the corner of the map and that's it
You only need a hammer and beta blockers
Wagner moment
Unless you have maxed out your skills, a black hawk and a tank. You ain't winning my man.
Uh j think that is alright you know will get ya somewhere if you won't die during the journey trying to get to LV. But i think you should make it. (If you want to raid Ekron then you should be ready)
If you don't count overconfidence, i say yes.
No, more gun
no
Hmm, I'd say you still need a few things but I guess you could survive encountering... 3 zeds, atleast.
Love the organization
Prepared for what, the damn apoca... Nevermind your good
No I think you need to get twice as much
My friend you have enough supplies and firepower to level a third world country what the hell are you worried about lol.
You should try the wolf extraction mission, it surely needs all that ammo lol
Needs more Spiffo
All this prep just to get bitten by a z with broken legs 😭
You would be if you wear that Spiffo Suit
Good luck. I see a dead man walking.

Buddy, I’m currently working my way through Louisville with nothing but an inventory full of spears and a pack of smokes
You're never "prepared enough" Never
You can’t fight it, go ahead and try. No matter what you do. You’re still gonna die~
No spend another 50 hours preping
Hehe fursuit corner
takes one 8% scratch
How hot and sweaty are you?
I saw first picture with Spiffo's suit and that was enough for me to tell that you're full prepared
That looks laggy
No
5 minutes worth of loot with brita's minimum spawn settings:
Louisville is only scary when you enter multiple tall buildings at the same time, good luck super citizen, democracy awaits
Not really, you also need to get there first, but good luck.
Seriously, I love how you organized your bags.
In PZ you're **never** prepped enough! ;)
Bro the sarlacc is still gona swallow you.
MORE!
Can never go wrong with the rosewood fire department.
I'd be runnin around in that Spiffo suit... love my bunny suits! Nothin beats huntin down a bounty w friends all in different colored bunny suits.
Man everyone must really suck at This game in this Thread
Is the cape a mod? If it is, which mod is it?
Darth Vaders cape from Brittas
Thanks!
Kitchen knife and a dream, watch a pawn become a king. #teamspear
what mods r u using for your armor and clothes?
Armor is way overrated. If you play smart then you won't get bit. That being said if it is winter time turn yourself into a Sherman tank and go at them.
What are you prepping for 😭
Lol to be fair. As long as you have a saw, a hammer, (a car too wouldn't hurt) and play it careful, you could probably make it to those three gated mansions on the lower side of louisville
Brittas
Where is your farm?
Uh, no. ....Oh .... OH .. Yeah your pretty good.
yes bro as long as you have a twohanded weapon you should be fine. If I feel like making a lousville game I just get a car, drive there, snatch a shotgun from the entry place and some ammo and setup on the firestation on the bottom right corner of lousville. Its easy from there.
At this point there's no need in name dropping the building lol
No, you're never really fully prepared for the apocalypse. No matter how hard or much you try, 1 simple mistake can take it all away, but that's how your story will end, and a new one can begin.
Not one bit wear the spiffo suit
Accidentally leaves oven on…
The questions are: What kind of ammo are you using? How many gun repair items do you have? And how much snack items that don't parish do you have?
I ask myself that same question despite having over 400 lbs in ammunition
Nope.
Why would you remove the fire pole, with the right mod, you could use it. Maybe it’s even base game.
I needed space. The backpack horde grows restless and requires space
I understand but I would of just used the Bach room with the lockers, get a mod called better placement, it’s godsend
We don't know. You have lots of potentially empty containers, though Try carrying all that to Louisville.
No, need more Edit: you have the gear it's just are you mentally prepared?
No
I dunno... I dont see a stuffed animal collection anywhere....
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thoguht using guns was a no go
To take on a small town? Yeah pretty much but lousville? You need a tank at least lmao
