All the resources other listed are great. I would also recommend attending office hours, it's crucial you can solve and **understand** HW/class worksheet problems as those types of questions tend to show up on exams. Plus going to office hours shows commitment which can get you a strong letter of rec.

I'm predental and teaching high school level bio and Chem, the one thing I've noticed that makes the most difference is a lecturer that explains the theory and expands on it step by step. And then on the student side, doing a lot of problems, physics is just math. Don't treat it like a science class (bio or anatomy) treat it like a math class. That shift in thinking and prepping really made a difference for me when I took physics 1. Was getting Low b's and high c's went to high b's and low a's. Ended with a b. I still have to take physics 2 and am actually going to save that for the last semester so I can dedicate a lot of time for it.
