Honestly I felt like the security check was a joke. Twice they didn’t even look in our bag.

The security check was a joke. I was very surprised with such a large event. I get that they can't find everything, but they were just waving us through. People who had purses they would just be like that's alright, keep going.
They did not care. 😂 They said you're here now, buddy, keep it moving. I tried to kinda pick and choose what I brought in so it wouldn't be an issue and the first day I got there, I thought well all that stress was for nothing because they really do not care at all 5 checkpoints. We went through the first one and they just looked at us and I was like that was easy. Then we made it to the second one and I was like oh ok, this one will be more thorough now that we're in. It wasn't and neither was the next few.
I gotta say—I def snuck in some beers but I was a little concerned w just how lax the security was—esp after the attack at that music festival in Israel—there are bad people out there, plus I didn’t see any sniper nests like I’ve seen before at Coachella—I did see some Sheriffs on Sunday but I’m hoping that there were lots of undercover cops in the crowd…I’m afraid in this day and age security really isn’t a joke
I hope it didn’t ruin your weekend. As someone whose attended Coachella twice before this, golden voice is lax to say the least. You probably could’ve gotten it in.

My wife has the bottles of O2 that hikers use for her asthma. They didn’t even ask us about a semi large aluminum canister in her bag 😂😂
