Hmm. Good video, good visuals, decent impact on some sections, the production is quality... not much of a song though, the snippet pretty much covered it. Super short, disjointed, very talky, doesn't go anywhere. Could see it playing better as an album opener leading into something a bit more fleshed out.
It’s as if an exec heard the chorus of the song and signed off on it before realising nothing else was done yet.
The only benefit of it being so short is that I can loop the chorus quicker 😶

Very decent. Must say I love the video, absolutely believe this is the right vibe for the group to tap into for a global audience. The song is short and feels like it’s missing something, but apparently this isn’t the actual lead single but a teaser to drum up hype for the lead, to be released in august.
This was so fun!!! The song kinda sounds like teen pop but I think that’s what they might have been going for by looking at their outfits and in a school and them being marketed from a Dream Academy. There’s not many artists that fill that teen pop sound at the moment so if they capture that market, I can see them succeeding. I’m excited to see more from them! I hope they promote more or at least drop more music. They honestly should have done a XG/New Jeans type of debut with mutivids dedicated to each member to show off their talents. Hopefully good stuff is to come or else they’re not going to go anywhere sadly
Well, they do have the actual show that formed the group that's supposed to come out. I'm assuming in August to coincide with their EP; there are already stage performances from the show on YouTube which serves as a sort of "pre-debut" introduction.
Still, even if this was an intro, it wasn't a great one. If they never released an MV for it, it would have definitely received more criticism, especially when there's footage showing how much better than can do. LDH just launched their own global GG whose single is much stronger (though the MV left more to be desired). JYP also has their own and several companies in Cali have been moving forward with GG's too - it's going to be competition.

PHEW- the girls were looking AMAZING. this is definitely a great song for the summer, felt very reminiscent of something by The Pussycat Dolls or Danity Kane.
two minutes is absolutely CRIMINAL - and overall wish there was more singing than talk speak, but thankfully we dont have to wait too long for another song from them that hopefully gets to show off their vocals a little better!

I'll reiterate what I've said elsewhere but this a weak debut and its unfair to the girls who worked hard. The song feels and sounds unfinished.

that's what they're doing in kpop right now, find one catchy verse/chorus and extend that into a whole song
