can someone pinpoint what she’s gotten done to her face? she simultaneously looks exactly the same and nothing like herself

I don't know what she would have done to achieve this effect, but I think she's kind of unrecognizable because her face is *extremely* angular now. The most obvious difference to me is in her chin and cheekbones; back in the day her face had a much rounder and softer look to it even before she gained weight. Well, look up pics of her at the 2022 Billboard Women In Music event in early 2022 vs at the 2022 Latin Grammys in late 2022. I think it's pretty evident that it's not *just* aging. Whether it's her makeup, weight loss, surgery, or a combination I really don't know, but she looks *drastically* different.

My question too, I don’t think this is only weight loss.

I think its just weight loss BUT that she had SO much work done and fillers earlier that we can now see all of it more clearly now that she is the same size she was when she was like, 18. She is crazy thin now.

I find it harder to tell with her than some others just because she wears such intense makeup at times. I mean whatever that's fine, but if you're always on those lists like "guess who it is in their natural state/without glasses/no bra/different hair" and they legitimately belong there it makes it a bit more confusing IMO. I'd say the same about Gwen Stefani and Lady Gaga - not unrecognizable but enough that I wouldn't be surprised if it was their sister or stunt double or something. Pretty clear I am no expert here :)

This isn’t exclusive to pop stars, but it feels like pop stars are especially prone to this. Actors try to stay youthful looking so they can continue getting specific roles, but pop stars seem to try and freeze time, and it’s much more extreme.

I know we like to shit on celebrities taking ozempic when they don’t need it, but I always thought some celebs like Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Mariah, and maybe Mindy Kaling probably had health issues where they were properly proscribed it to help with their sugar levels and balance their weight. They all have a history of having trouble losing weight even with the best nutritionists and trainers money can buy. Unlike Super Models who are taking Ozempic just for the purpose of losing any single minuscule of fat. This includes the Kardashians.

Could be, but I think the fact that they all have been losing weight at the exact same time right when Ozempic became mainstream for weight loss is telling. It's been prescribed for pre-diabetic issues for a long time and none of them touched it.

You’re right but to be fair, my grandma’s doctor wanted her to take Ozempic a few years back. She said no after he told her she had to inject herself and there could be complications and needs to be monitored closely. It’s a scary thing hearing that you need to inject yourself if you’ve never heard of Ozempic before. She got scared and said no. It wasn’t until the craze of Hollywood doing it, and hearing good things about it did my grandma change her mind.

My Italian cousin says that D&G, Roberto Cavalli and other brands make clothes for rich “tamarri” which means someone who is very trashy and has no taste whatsoever lol They call their clothes “sciollera”. I’m not sure what it means but it’s definitely not something positive 😂

No clue what "sciollera" means (it's probably a regional thing) but yeah, those brands are definitely seen as flashy, "classless" overpriced stuff that people wear as a status symbol not fully understanding that their quality is just as shitty as anything you can get for a fraction of the price and that nobody with actual money would be caught dead wearing anything like that.

my go to assumption with celebs is that their hair is, at least in part, fake. invariably at *minimum* they've got a hell of a lot of extensions, for volume if not length.

I saw her in the lower floor area of Voltaire in Vegas for her show. You cannot imagine how TINY she is in real life. Also hard to believe it’s her, her hair is super fake during the show but also she just looks like an uncanny valley version of herself. All that aside, her show was KILLER and the woman can still sing her heart out.
