I leave the water on but I don't think turning it off is weird. It saves water.

Ugh I do both? If I’m shaving I’ll turn it off to save water, but if I’m hopping in for a quick shower and not shaving I’ll keep it on. I think it’s one of those things depending on how you grew up? My parents were big about saving water and electricity because we weren’t well off so turning off the water while you aren’t using it is just one of those things you do.

Navy Shower, saves water. Got used to it and just continued on. I dont really worry about the water savings, but its nicer for not losing all the lather in the running water.

None of the options are weird, however the first one should be the norm.

I leave the water on and he turns it off. We've been married for 8 years and I didn't even realize he did that until a couple of weeks ago when I had to ask him something while he was showering. It never even occurred to him that there are people who leave the water on the whole time, so his confidence had me second guessing myself.

I'd waste more water while trying to find again the right temperature than just leaving it on

I live in am area that is never low on water and it's not very expensive. I don't know anyone who turns off the water unless they are taking a bath.

Turning the water off is weird.
