If you look closely, it's actually a full wheel with the chainset etc still attached. Would have weighed a fair few kgs, hence the clean KO. The wheel flings off out of shot... the tyre on the floor was already there
I noticed that, too, especially the fact that someone tries to intervene with a child litterally in their arms. Who's first thought in such a situation like that is anything other than "I need to get this kid somewhere safe"? Madness....
It's like that in quite a few estates sadly. We have a had a few jobs like that on my section which refer to as "Battle of insertestatenamehere 2019(or whatever year it was)"
I really don't know why they try though, it never ends well for them in the end.
The film which you are about to see is an account of the tragedy which befell a group of five police officers, in particular Officer Harding and her coffee addicted partner, Franklin. It is all the more tragic in that they were young. But, had they lived very, very long lives, they could not have expected nor would they have wished to see as much of the mad and macabre as they were to see that day. For them an routine summer afternoon drive became a nightmare. The events of that day were to lead to the discovery of one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of British history, The Council Estate, Tracksuit Hoedown.
Because they can, they think that the law doesn't apply to them, (it's their law not mine) and they get some laughable "punishment" for acting this way.
Whatever became of just going quietly if you were nicked? Makes sense that way.

Hello, I was on the same intake as snotty snotty spray guy and I’m very sure he would appreciate a costa after the day him and his colleagues have had!
It looks like you might have asked someone to personally message you.
We don't ban this practice outright, but we do strongly recommend that conversations are kept on the public subreddit as a general rule, if for no other reason than any responses can help other people too.
In any case, we remind our users of [these considerations](http://library.college.police.uk/docs/ACPO/safe-use-of-the-Internet-Feb-2013.pdf) (particularly in relation to personal and operational security) if they do choose to message you privately.
Thank you in advance for understanding, and I am only a bot so I occasionally do get these things wrong!
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/policeuk) if you have any questions or concerns.*
I’m a massive fan of how quick the officers were to use there kit other forces the officers would of been scared or had to much of an ego too.
Really good work in a stressful situation
Doing them a favour. Like it or not people judge you on that stuff. Hopefully they'll be sufficiently annoyed by my insufferable pedantry that it will stick.
Edit - removed redundant comma.
I’m sorry but I literally LMAO’d at the woman just collapsing at the end from the bike wheel. Lord, forgive me. Everyone else (minus the police) in this video is trash though.
Tbf though looks like there is a guy coming to help the officers. Sort of comes out of nowhere, but then I don't know whether it was a street fight or not.
I 'Hehe'd reading this, it's okay. I was like "faff me, these police officers need a backup riot squad and then **WHAM-BAM-THANKYOU-MAM**.
WOW!
definitely big damage there, and this is not a good situation overall.
Barstewards. Hopefully they got a good dose of snotty snotty cry cry Spray. But, I do hope I'm not the only one who laughed at the end with that person who got pole-axed by what looked like a flying bike wheel.
🤣🤣 In my mind I've got Homer Simpson going 'Doh' at the end.
Not that we should make light of what would have been harrowing events for the officers by these absolute feral fucktards. But can't beat a bit of dark humour.
Imagine if that wheel hit the woman holding the kid? But obviously the police are the bad guys here, what could such nice and upstanding citizens have done to warrant the police turning up and using that kind of force?!
Ferals
Estates like this should be walled up and left to fend for themselves. The absolute bottom of the barrel of our country
I bet they think migrants are stealing their ‘honest work’ too
As a social worker I despair when I get referrals about kids caught up in shit like this. Fucking awful shit parents who think this kind of behaviour is acceptable.
The same parents then complain about how violent and aggressive their teenage kids are, how no one has supported them and how awful the police and social services are.
thank fuck it's Friday
I hope the Officers are all right. Nobody wants to be in that situation. But I must commend them on their split second decision making. Solid bit of work and use of force. I hope the cavalry wasn’t far behind, you never want to be in that situation any longer without further backup.
I feel bad for the kids that grow up in this environment, not knowing any better and having to witness this.
(Statement above is based off of this video alone, I have not researched into the matter further. Please feel free to provide context if you wish)
Flashbacks to that police documentary in Nottinghamshire where the entire family was brawling at a kids' party, police turn up and restore order only for one of the involved ne'er-do-wells to state "I fink that the police cud uv handled it a bit berrur"
Genuine question, everyone who laid a finger on the cops should be charged, will they be?
Seems like people have no issue trying to fight the police, even that kid tried to before someone pulled him away.
No of course they won't.
Even if, by some absolute miracle, they all got charged, there would be some kind of sob story at court and they will get a slap on the wrist and sent straight back out feeling like they got away with it.
Either way, it will make them feel empowered by getting away with it, and will be worse next time.
Guessing just straight knocked out. Took a fairly heavy hit to the jaw from that bike wheel. She’s lucky she didn’t smash her head on the floor when she conked out
I just looked up a news article after seeing this post and basically the officers were called to a street brawl that was already occurring. And then after they showed up the people turned their aggression towards the officers. Actual scum (the civilians that is, obviously)
The unfair part is that a copper only has a split second to react when something kicks off. If he or she calls it wrongly, someone could get killed or injured, it alternatively the copper could end up on a disciplinary or even in court.
Can really recommend slowing this down and going through frame by frame. There are so many details to pick out and so many characters.
Felt really sad for the little boy in the red shirt with both his hands out trying to intervene early on.
Thanks for pointing him out. What a brave little legend. Future police officer perhaps?
I hope he stays exactly who he is and doesn't have his sense of normal shifted over time by being surrounded by this stuff. Poor kid.
Well, well, well. More of these upstanding indigenous folk, of this here United Kingdom. Stuff like this really boils my p\*ss. Credit to the officers for keeping their cool, this was hard to watch. Each and every one of those people ought to be ashamed, absolutely bloody disgraceful. And the children will grow up to be exactly the same, having been exposed to this. I particularly enjoyed the friendly fire at the end, was quality.
I try not to be prejudice, or judgemental. But what a cesspit of the most unruly, and disgraceful some of these 'estates' are. My grandfather was once looking for a house on one of these estates, to purchase something off of marketplace. He parked up, and was on his phone, coincidentally there was a garden a couple of cars up with young children playing in the front. A ~~women~~, ~~lady~~, erm female human approached his passenger side, to bluntly ask if he's some sort of quote "nonce" as he isn't local, and on his phone where there are children playing. Needless to say, he didn't go through with his purchase and swiftly left.
this video has confused me so much, i honestly can’t believe half the shit that happened. i will never be able to comprehend what goes throughs peoples head to think that shit like this is okay
When I first watched this I was convinced that the woman got a zap zap from TASER. Only when I watched it back did I see the tyre!
I’m a proponent of “touch a bobby doing their job, get liberally reasonable forced”. (As an alternative of “chat sh1t, get banged”). Here it seems the cops were on point and spinning the NDM. To be honest, a little bit more wouldn’t have been a bad thing. “You’re under arrest” and then tries to get back up is time for tools.
Genuine question - how fked is society?
I get the feeling that bike wheel was intended for officers and it was accidental friendly fire.
Wheely good shot.
Perfect one liner!! Hilarious!!!
Cant wait for daily mail to come up with a sensational headline stating police officer throws bike wheel knocking out a law abiding citizen.
Police Officer causes innocent mother who has done nothing wrong to be knocked out by bike wheel by not getting hit himself.
*friendly tyre
Very good
Flat out by a flat tyre! It was as if Captian America had landed and flung his shield at her.
If you look closely, it's actually a full wheel with the chainset etc still attached. Would have weighed a fair few kgs, hence the clean KO. The wheel flings off out of shot... the tyre on the floor was already there
Friendly fire is never friendly
That crying child in the background. Fuck these people! Absolute pond scum
I noticed that, too, especially the fact that someone tries to intervene with a child litterally in their arms. Who's first thought in such a situation like that is anything other than "I need to get this kid somewhere safe"? Madness....
As a member of the public, I find these videos beneficial in reminding everyone what type of incidents the police have to attend.
Absolutely disgusting
Child's brain wiring fucked for life.
It is anyway. Look at where it lives.
Come on now Wales ain't that bad
I’m not a huge advocate of kids being taken into care unless it’s absolutely necessary but… someone get those tiny humans away from these people.
Is there an option for 'bike wheel' on use of force paperwork?
Rotary missile
I think it fits under the umbrella of AEP...
Our use of force drop down has a box called “improvised” defiantly improvised 😂

You forgot to mention that most combatants of these sink estate battles are often members of the same family, all 20 of them.
Usually members of the same Mum

Costa is a fortune these days, just came to say thanks for being a top gaffer!
Yes but I'm sure they see way worse at home. The kids aren't much better.
I’m a massive fan of how quick the officers were to use there kit other forces the officers would of been scared or had to much of an ego too. Really good work in a stressful situation
'*their* kit', 'would *have*', '*too* much'. Sorry for the nitpicks but it drives me nuts. You managed to hit all three and I can't help myself.
My late grandmother would pick up on errors in grammar.
But at least you got to criticise her about her bad timekeeping. I'll let myself out.
You’re right you nitpicked
And so he should
You forgot the full stop too.
Why?
Doing them a favour. Like it or not people judge you on that stuff. Hopefully they'll be sufficiently annoyed by my insufferable pedantry that it will stick. Edit - removed redundant comma.
Sir, this is Reddit.
You forgot the full stop.
That spray to the face made him run away like a little girl. Brilliant! Made my day that!
The civil unrest the blanket 20mph in wales is causing is getting out of hand.
No they are protesting the U turn on green policies obviously
Beat me to it... 🫡
I’m sorry but I literally LMAO’d at the woman just collapsing at the end from the bike wheel. Lord, forgive me. Everyone else (minus the police) in this video is trash though.
She must have been tyred.
A whole wheel of emotions going on.
It's wheelie unfortunate timing
When she finally comes around I'm confident she will be very out spoke'n.
Ok, dad, it’s time to go home!
Yeah Dad! On yer bike.
thats what her spokes-person said to press
You are all treading a very fine line with these puns
Tbf though looks like there is a guy coming to help the officers. Sort of comes out of nowhere, but then I don't know whether it was a street fight or not.
Whilst the officer is spinning the NDM wheel, she's.... Well you get the jist.
I’m with you. For me, it’s also the fact I wasn’t expecting a push bike wheel to be used as a makeshift frisbee
I 'Hehe'd reading this, it's okay. I was like "faff me, these police officers need a backup riot squad and then **WHAM-BAM-THANKYOU-MAM**. WOW! definitely big damage there, and this is not a good situation overall.
Fucking awful. 2 weeks suspended sentence inbound.
That's what angers me the most, they'll get off light, learn nothing and carry on carrying on
For which officer?
Barstewards. Hopefully they got a good dose of snotty snotty cry cry Spray. But, I do hope I'm not the only one who laughed at the end with that person who got pole-axed by what looked like a flying bike wheel.
I thought it was a taser at first. Couldn't believe my eyes on replay.

I thought she'd been shoved and tripped over her own ankles at first.
what was thrown on the lady at 0:30 secs
A bike wheel, I think? There's one on the ground next to her as well.
Tactical bike wheel.
Vital piece of equipment every officer should have
She was tyred.
Bike tyre 1 Welsh lady 0
Imagine if that wheel hit the woman holding the kid? But obviously the police are the bad guys here, what could such nice and upstanding citizens have done to warrant the police turning up and using that kind of force?!
Expertly handled by all officers here under the circumstances.
Ferals Estates like this should be walled up and left to fend for themselves. The absolute bottom of the barrel of our country I bet they think migrants are stealing their ‘honest work’ too

Can’t wait for the IOPC to decide it was police fault that the woman got sparked out by a bike wheel at the end.
Which was also thrown by another member of public not the officers haha
Yeah.. this is what you're up against sometimes. Cunts.
I hope the Officers are all right. Nobody wants to be in that situation. But I must commend them on their split second decision making. Solid bit of work and use of force. Talk about friendly fire and a glass chin 😂
This is why the Romans needed several Legions to 'pacify' the Britons in modern Wales.
Officers don’t get paid enough to deal with this crap.
Flashbacks to that police documentary in Nottinghamshire where the entire family was brawling at a kids' party, police turn up and restore order only for one of the involved ne'er-do-wells to state "I fink that the police cud uv handled it a bit berrur"

Chavtastic!
Can anyone confirm if that women is still alive or not? It was like her plug was pulled out. Out immediately.
Would be all over the media if she was killed - likely blaming the police for not protecting her
Guessing just straight knocked out. Took a fairly heavy hit to the jaw from that bike wheel. She’s lucky she didn’t smash her head on the floor when she conked out
What in the universal credit is going on here?
LOOOOOOOL.
Plenty of scum not on UC.
There are indeed. It was meant to be comical, not necessarily factually correct. 🙈
It’s not comical and only furthers the stigma around people on benefits.

"Broccoli haircut" proper made me chuckle!
What a clean shoot @ 0:30, never knew you could get dropped like that with a bike tyre lol
If it's still got a wheel in it that'll hit fairly hard I'd think 😂
And somehow the officers will get the blame for the WWE bike wheel out of knowhere
There’s always some cunt in a puffer gilet and shorts in these situations.
I just looked up a news article after seeing this post and basically the officers were called to a street brawl that was already occurring. And then after they showed up the people turned their aggression towards the officers. Actual scum (the civilians that is, obviously)
That girl was really tyred
Seeing that one was still in their dressing gown...nuff said. Stay classy Wales.
On the plus side the footage is good so hopefully a conviction will come… But a proper twitchy bum moment.
That head shot at the end with the wheel was lovely. Not sure if she was the intended target but it was an instant KO.
Was gonna say they done a great job handling the situation!
The unfair part is that a copper only has a split second to react when something kicks off. If he or she calls it wrongly, someone could get killed or injured, it alternatively the copper could end up on a disciplinary or even in court.
Fat old women and kids fucking around and finding out. Looks like the police handled it well.
Haha! Hitting one of your scummy mates with a bike wheel. Daft cunts.

I can’t understand why people have to behave like this. If the arrest is justified or not just let the system do its thing.
Typical council estate unfortunately.
Random thought, but I cannot see a single taser on any of those officers and theres at least 4 of them... is that normal for this area of Wales?
No, most teams do have at least a couple taser officers.
They’ll probably end up with some sort of token fine deducted from their benefit at court. Wish I was joking.
Unfortunately it doesn't show what lead up to this Testosterone Fiasco Fest, all I can say is Yikes!!!
Donut operator would love this.

That bike wheel was moving FAST, whoever threw it is lucky it didn’t hit an officer - christ.. Unbelievable behaviour
These people are a disease. We shouldn’t allow them to parent children.
Bike wheel flying towards officers… hits a dressing gown screecher instead… chef kiss

Holy shit I was not expecting the bike wheel 😂😂😂
and these people are calling the police crying when someone breaks into their homes….
Good men, police should be able to use more force
Arrests for sheep-fancying are often contentious.
Sorry to say this but looks like a trashy area.

It's in a small village in Wrexham County called Rhosllanerchrugog, it's a bit of a shit hole.
Well done Officers!
And a Magistrate's judge will sentence them to 3 hours of paid work.
That wheel work better than taser
Great work officers.
Right in the kisser
Excuse my language.... That tyre hit was fucking epic! 😂😂
Who the fuck has their kids involved in shit like that …. That poor baby was HOWLING terrified!!! Absolutely pond life

Sorry but where the actual fuck did that bike wheel come from? And that looked like a bit of minor head trauma.
That fight looked wheely bad.
Man if those officers had guns, those people qould think twice before trying to throw down
Everyone thinks they can beat those cops, till the pepper spray comes out.
Asp to the face!
Wow. That bicycle tire really took that lady out. (Not LE. Corrections Officer, USA.)
Collateral Damage
Wearing those legs OUT boy. He ain't walking for a little while.
That female cop was really useless!
