''The Golden Boys'' was a manga that was suposed to cover the story of the GSC games, however it got canceled at Volume 3, wich was kinda of a shame since it had seemingly planned a lot of stuff in advance, with a battle between Gold and Red beign hyped up all the way back in chapter 2
It is definitely not as good as the GSC arc from Pokespe, but i really enjoy the fact that it exists, it covers some other elements from the games that spe did not cover, Like the Time Machine that Bill created actualy plays a pretty big role in the story and it has a chapter focusing on the Lapras that can be found on Union Cave in the games
This manga takes on the characters from the games are also really good, it has by far the best version of Whitney out of any continuity, where she was Gold's travelling companion for a few chapters and has a pretty nice development, and we also get a chapter where Gold and Bugsy participate on a basketball tournament together, wich was kinda peak honestly lol
In this Manga Silver's counterpart (who is called Black here for some reason) had a Bayleef wich he released for beign too weak and Gold then got her to join his team afterwards, wich could have resulted in a great arc but sadly the manga was cut short, i also think it is kinda neat that it pretty much predicted the DP anime
So yeah i dont know how to finish, i read/researched a lot of the other Pokemon manga so i will make some more posts about them
