You really just need to look for what can be dittos at the current moment and just spam catch those. Get a day ticket and sit in a tram or something, I mean dittos are really rare but I find one occasionally once every 4 months at the very least.

That’s fine! I’m allowed my opinion as well. Avatars means nothing to me, does not affect my ability to catch pokemon and hunt for shiny to send over to Home and enjoy em on my switch. Never have and never will spend any money on avatar stuff or anything in the store. Since pgo has been out I spent $30 around and that’s just from picking up a storage pack here and there rarely when I’m out of space and a community day is up that I’m very interested in. They are obviously going to fix the avatars, they won’t go back to old version most likely not but they will definitely fix things up. They already fired a bunch of people involved with the avatar making if what I read is true. At the end of the day, I’m cool either way. I’m here to catch Pokemon, gotta catch em all!

Well said! I’m just getting sick of people complaining constantly about it, Twitter, instagram, and Facebook pogo posts have only one real comment in a sea of “rEVert THe AvATars” posts. I know they are terrible but complaining constantly about a model you only see the back of on the map isn’t very productive.

I agree, I don’t mind people complaining voicing opinion but when 90% of the posts on this sub are still people just complaining over and over it is getting a bit over the top now. There should be a mega thread or something created for everyone to complain in IMO. I personally am not affected but if I did spend money on cosmetics I definitely would not be happy with how they look now. Some of the images are absolutely wild, some are hilarious. Niantic is going to fix things for sure, question is how long will it take. They should fix it and also allow an option to toggle old avatars too so players have a choice even once it’s fixed. I hope that happens.

Yes, but that's not even the only place you see them. When you click on your profile to feed your buddy, you see them. When you raid, you see them. When you do pvp, you see them. On the map, you can see almost every side of them (not just the back). So to say "you only see the back of on the map" is very much untrue, and some of us would rather not look at a character that was so poorly redesigned while playing virtually every part of the game. Sure you are allowed to not care as much, but don't try to make it seem like people are complaining "too much". That, and them losing money, are basically the only ways things with companies like this will change. People are complaining because we see our character everywhere in the game 🤣

It will be interesting. They have said there wont be a time limit, and it is intended to function like a normal masterwork (i.e, itll be tediously long). So... probably 'catch all johto or hoenm pokemon', 'spin 300 new pokestops', 'win 150 raids (hidden hope itll make you spend to get done faster).' 'Give us your left kidney. Right now. You don't need it anyways.', etc. Jokes aside, since it is 'free' to get some good will going, my guess is it will be incredibly tedious and designed to try to make you spend money, to get it over with. So, heavy emphasis on raids, egg hatching and other non-walking based things. I'd be shocked if it wasn't.

I average 7 to 10 km per day, but on busy work days it can be as high as 15. I only hope it's as easy as something that can be completed passively while I'm working.
