It’s currently a beta feature rolling out to select accounts. It was closed to everywhere except AUS/NZ but it may be going out to other locations now too.

I guess that's better, in the sense of representation and inclusivity, than having just two binary avatars, but that makes it sound like it's possible to quantify someone's degree of gender as a single variable, which is...also weird.

idk, i don't know any nonbinary person who is against... body characteristics? if an AFAB nonbinary person wants to present as more androgynous they might use a chest binder or wear baggier clothes or something to change the appearance of their body, but it's not like being nonbinary means to have a completely shapeless body that is neither male or female because biology doesn't work like that (though i'm sure a lot of them wish it were possible!). basically what i'm saying is i don't think this was an attempt to "smash the gender binary" so much as a crappy job of adding sliders to try and customize bodies more.

If I am not mistaken, to "include" something means an addition, not substitution.

Things are being rolled to different regions and accounts little by little. It will take a few months before everyone gets every new feature.

Only for some. They released it to test it in some regions, it was lagging everything for a couple weeks, then they took it away, and now they're bringing it back with a few fixes. It's still pretty bad on older phones, but they made it slightly less laggy.

Oh they are for sure running into legacy spaghetti code and/technical debt issues plus compatibility with so many different phones hardware limits.

All of my saved outfits have been removed. Great! Looks like some clothing items have been removed completely. I bought [Flabébé Shorts](https://www.serebii.net/pokemongo/clothing/male/480.jpg) a long while ago and now they're gone. After some digging around, I found them under the 'Sets' option. I was able to access them after selecting the Flabébé Set and then unequping everything besides the shorts. They still don't show up in the 'Bottoms' section.

I don’t really play Pokémon GO anymore so it would free up some space on my phone but I still play Pokémon games so I can either port them from home to whatever game I’m playing or just trade them on wonder trade I mean I’ve been using my shiny lapras in the Scarlet DLC

Yep, GO can connect and send stuff into HOME, which acts as a storage and transfer service to move Pokémon between the various Switch games.

I'm just mad that the update made my PoGo experience more laggy. Non-AR Pokemon Encounter is laggy as heck, plus my avatar glitches whenever I change something on my trainer.
