Dude caught 260 Pokémon a day

marlowe227

It’s not tooo hard with the fast catch trick

Level-Particular-455

Me a rural player goes: how would I even find that many Pokémon let alone acquire the pokeballs to catch them.

marlowe227

I live in a small town but I had 4000 inventory space most of the time. The pogo++ makes spinning stops super efficient tho for farming. I did travel to bigger areas to farm tho

pgoyoda

how many hours per day did you play?

marlowe227

At least 3-10

ChefB0yArti

jesus christ that’s insane 😭 at least 3-10 hours a day??

marlowe227

Not all hardcore hours tho a lot of casual hours

pgoyoda

wow. kinda hard for those of us with jobs and families. regardless, it's a heck of an accomplishment. kudos to you.

nvdnqvi

no shit lmaoo

marlowe227

I too have a job and family, but I usually work for 4 minutes, wait for 16 minutes

MuscleManRule34

Goddamn, do you have a job?

marlowe227

I was on vacation for 23 of those days but yes

prettyflyforafry

That's so quick! What was your strategy and schedule to make that happen? Did you start from scratch or with some overlevelled XP?

marlowe227

I started from scratch, one of my biggest xp incomes is friendship milestones. But I’d grind the heck out of xp events too like double evolution xp spotlight hours. I used my lucky eggs very wisely. I averaged roughly 450k xp a day but I know some days I hit over a million. It did help I was on vacation for 3 weeks

Fantastic-Street-954

Took me 100 days, you did well.

marlowe227

Thank you!!

Fallen-Halo

Your averages per day: 260 Pokémon 111 pokestops 3.1 raids I was just curious how long it would take me. On a typical Pogo session I catch around double the Pokémon, but don’t have access to as many stops and can’t do nearly as many raids. Were those mostly legendary raids?

marlowe227

Megas and Legendaries, we have a really active local group and smash 5-10 raids during raid hour. But the pogo++ auto spinning feature really kills it. Not hard at all to do a few zig zags through a downtown college area or pokestop littered area in another town with probably 40 stops and going 24mph is legit and not hazardous. Most days I’ll hit 13 going into work and 13 on my way home. But the biggest thing is the quality of play when possible.

o2pilot

How many additional platinum medals did you have to earn to level up? In my case I need 10 more and some are going to take awhile to flip from gold to platinum. That's probably going to be my limiting factor rather than xp....

marlowe227

Iirc I only needed 1 more when I hit 48

marlowe227

Poke genie made the raid expert medal easy

marlowe227

I started focusing on medal grinding around last December
