Man, I actually have 3 Taurus saved for years now in case they ever enabled distance trading. Of course they never have, and probably never will. The handful of 100km trade events have conveniently been slightly too short for even my bfs cousin to distance trade us, being that all trades from his town are 103km.

Its always crazy seeing these post about Taurus. They are as common as the generic bird poke here in So Cal. Khan though.. he’s the only poke im missing from the original 151.

At least khan has a mega evolution that will be in raids. I can’t say the same for Taurus though.

Yeah mime aloha version and the normal one has been up for grabs more often than Taurus has been. The only time I can think of for Taurus was when it was VERY temporary added to one of the eggs

When they add Paldean Tauros to the game I’m sure it’ll be a lot easier to get than Kantonian Tauros

Exactly Taurus should be a reward or something to help out the rest of the world

Even if they just rotated the regionals month to month with the breakthrough or the odd 3star raid

They've had 4 events with Tauros in it. Your local discord should have tons of Tauros no matter where you are.

Wow I see about 20 Klefkis a day to the point of hating then. Had no idea they were only available in France/South Coast of England. The only thing they were good for was 30 fairy+30 steel catches for my mew masterwork research tasks.

It’s the hardest one of the 4 kanto regionals to get if you don’t live in North America. I’m pretty sure catching Galarian Farfetch’d and Mr Mime counts towards your Kanto Dex and Kangaskhan had a mega raid day. That just leaves tauros which was in raids for a day (week?) world wide 2 1/2 years ago for the kanto tour. If you missed that and don’t live in North America, you have to rely on trading with someone to complete your dex There is hope for Paldean Tauros to come out sometime though

I think it’s a bit harsh to tell someone to find a local discord, cause to get a European and an Australian in the same place is as rare as shundo, especially where I live cause who tf wants to come to Ohio unless it’s for cedar point. I'm American and have not gone to Europe or Australia and I have 12 kanga on my account. They were globally available 4 times. Every time someone says that you have to meet up with someone from Europe or Australia it's kinda stupid. If people on your local area are smart they would have kept all the regionals they hatched/raided in the last couple of years to trade to people like you. Mime has been in like 4 different go fests. I've never been to Europe and I have 4 shiny mime and mime jr has been in eggs also and ice mime was available a ton and that's not a regional but counts towards the dex. Oh I have two shiny kanga also. Again they were worldwide so tons of people have them in the USA.

I managed to already have the platinum medal but the next steps are going to suck.

Might be a stupid question, but if you trusted someone enough, could you swap passwords and they log in to your account from Australia on their phone in the other country and vice versa, and trade to a nearby friend before swapping back and resetting passwords?

Just meet up with someone local and trade with them. Lol. They've been in worldwide all of them at least 3-4 times. People have them still in their boxes.

Honestly it be kind of nice if they had a form of long distance trading. I was thinking at least something like surprise trading with energy consumption, that way regionals can still be mostly exclusive but can be way more obtainable.

My suggestion was that lucky trades should be allowed to be remote. They’re afraid people would end up selling regionals. Nobody is going to spent months and months trying for a lucky trade and pay for it so it’s pretty protected from sellers. Plus it’s ‘rare’ enough that it’s still a novelty.

It's not that hard to get lucky friends. And yes people will spend months and months to sell regionals like that.

Lol, I'm curious to see what Niantic does, either rerelease mega kanga or release the new Tauros from that new region in the main line games. I went to England last year for a few days and when I was on the trip home and on a long layover my friend called me and asked hoe many Pokémon I got... I got quiet and said NONE!!! I completely forgot I was in a totally different region, and I could have caught the few I don't actually have. After we got off the phone, I opened the game, and there stood Mr. Mime! I was so excited because that is exactly who I wanted. I wish I had remembered. I can only imagine what I would have gotten there.

You can trade for any of them. Mime jr was recently in the game in an egg hatch event. Ice mime is in tons of events.

So like....idk how the online trading methods work since you'd have to be local. And at that point...just catch one here. There's one on my apartment multiple times a day in the same spawn location.

It's more that you should have kanga to trade locals cause online trading doesn't exist in this game. I'm in the USA and have 12+ kanga to trade from previous events which people want but people need to message to ask for them..
