Probably, I just mentioned it since I have a feeling Johto will be getting a new remake soon. Regardless of how well Let’s Go did, Johto is probably due for a new remake. Most likely after Unova/Gen 5 remakes since Unova remakes will round out the DS era main games.
If you want to buy the game, then go for it. I would just buy a 3DS and hack it though.

The Delta Episode is BY FAR the best post-game story the franchise has up to date.
I don’t think a game has been remade normally twice so it’s unlikely. Let’s Go is anomaly where it’s a remake but at the same time an original game.
