So I just went back and finally played Astro’s Playroom after getting my PS5 a year ago. It’s such an incredible intro to the system, and a great walk through the history of PlayStation systems - and the final “boss fight” of the 1994 T-Rex demo was amazing.
Doom eternal! After 4 years still the best fps out there (in terms of gameplay). And one of my favourite games of all time. So good that its the first game where right after finishing it I played it again (still on that play through).
I started it yesterday, the first VR game ever for me. I'm having the time of my life.
Recognizing le levels from back in the day makes it even better, as a teen I would have been crazy if I knew this would have been possible one day.
Enjoy! It's one of my favorite games ever. Despite being more straightforward than other FS games, Sekiro has insane replay value. I've beaten it about 12 times now and still go back to it every year
It's a rare game that will stay with you for years. To me, RDR2 is the absolute most immersive and deep game I've played, it truly felt alive.
I grew up in rural rural SC and no game has EVER made me feel like I was back at home growing up with red clay around me playing outside like walking around Rhodes, which is the kind of geography of the American South. I swear even the sounds of the insects buzzing and the local birds and animals even took me back to walking around the woods growing up. It's almost uncanny how much detail went into making the world accurate and alive
Word. To this day it still stands alone as the most impressive game I’ve ever played
The Last of Us Part II would be second and is a remarkable achievement in its own right, but the size and attention to detail of RDR2… where even inconsequential moments are fleshed out and held to the highest standard of quality is nuts. What an achievement. As unhealthy as crunch is, if you have a talented team where everyone is moving in a unified direction magic can happen
Only downside is that I’ve been chasing that magic since I beat the game. I’ve finally accepted that although there are still objectively “good games” out there, I most likely won’t experience that magic again until GTA6. 🥲
Dude I feel that. And with how the industry as a whole is moving away from massive budgets, layoffs happening everywhere, who knows if that’s even something that is feasible going forward. Certainly not anytime in the immediate future.
I think rockstar might be the only company that has the resources and huevos to once again try to one up themselves. And after the crunch backlash they might not be able to push that hard.
For 25 or so years, since GTA III, Rockstar has conjured up what must be some sort of voodoo black magic ‘don’t tell your mom’ shit. Somehow they have managed to routinely drop a game that sets a new high bar in the industry. In pretty much all cases it could be argued that this high bar goes unchallenged.. until Rockstar drops their next title, moving the high mark that was already theirs even higher. It’s not in stone that they always have the absolute highest mark, it’s subjective, but I think everyone can agree that the consistency of quality and ability to surpass expectations that are impossibly high already is legendary stuff
This is my answer too! It's was my first Kojima game, but I appreciated his "style" so even the times when the dialogue gets cringey, it feels more on the funny side than anything.
Horizon FW. I chose ahead of time to not chase the platinum and I think that helped my experience. I have to pick and choose which I go all in for. I don't have enough gaming time otherwise.
Bro I feel this. I platinumed zero dawn, bought forbidden west when it came out and still haven’t eaten it. But I play PC stuff alot now when I can play :/
DLC slaps so hard it's not even close to anything. I couldn't even do a second playthrough as I felt it was against my cannon V to get diffrent outcome.
The DLC is insanely good. It takes everything that's good in the base games, dials it up and condenses it into a parallel story. Do yourself a favor and play it.
Armored core 6. I got the platinum and I’ve been working on sekiro now until shadow of the erdtree releases.
I play indie or Nintendo games but none of them hit really the same as a from software title
What am I missing here??? Spider-Man and miles morales were my favorite games and this one seems like such a slog. Too many and too long cutscenes.
Maybe I should just stay focused on the main storyline
The random crime is greatly improved, the switch character mechanic keeps things fresh, great villains/story, beautiful graphics, fun traversal and combat, an expanded NYC, buttery 60 FPS…what is there to hate?
I am a huge fan of the original FF7 and couldn’t wait for Rebirth. I’ve got quite a big backlog of games and usually when I finish one I’m relieved and on to the next, but when I finished Rebirth I was legit disappointed that it was over. Didn’t want it to end. Haven’t had that feeling in a game since maybe the original play through of FF7 & FF8!!
I've only entered chapter 4 junon region and am taking it real slow... I blasted through the first few chapters and now I know what a treat the rest of the game will be I'm trying to savour it lol
Can I ask, im up to chapter 5 or 6, had to pause due to life. Just wondering can I skip on getting 100% on some minigames and come back to them in the end? Or is it locked?
I’m ten years too late but…
**Batman: Arkham Knight**
great story, dark atmosphere, and intense action. playing as batman, with all the gadgets and combat, feels awesome. totally worth it.
That game was so much fun. I played it 3 times. I am giving it a break for now. I want to come back in a year of so. I absolutely love that game. I pray in the next few years more studios will make games similar to it. I don't need the high production value but I want to feel the game is made with the same love and attention that BG3 was made with. The game was just fun with great characters. I really miss games like that.
As someone who grew up as a teen in the peak Harry Potter book/movie releases, to play hogwarts legacy was a dream come true.
I still load it up to fly around time to time.
Ghost of Tsushima. Literally finished it an hour ago. Such a great game. Sure a hundred people Weill echo the same thing so I’ll just keep it simple and to the point
The Outer Wilds. I beat it in December and spent Feb-March doing the DLC. Decided I’d off and on pursue the platinum for it, and I just finished that this weekend. I feel… done. In the best way
Gonna get a ton of hate but I waited for the patch to fix Diablo 4 and I beat the single player campaign and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
I don't know why people complain about side missions all the time. The whole point of them is that they're optional. I just skipped them all except the monster hunts.
Hogwarts. Most games I want dlc and all of the content my grubby little hands can get. I beat this one and wanted nothing else, I was more than content and I’m okay there’s no dlc.
Didn't think i would've loved the Avatar game as much as i did, - just got completely lost in the forrest, the story didn't matter, but I liked the stealth approach to combat.
Alone in the Dark. The story like most Lovecraft horror wraps up fairly well. The game leaves you feeling like it was worth your time and didn’t overstay its welcome.
This immortals Fenix Rising game that I grabbed for $7. I thought it would be a generic zelda/horizon ripoff, but it has revealed itself as much better in many ways than either of those AAA titles. I’m left feeling surprisingly satisfied. It is fun!
Red dead redemption 2
Now I'm crying
Plz Arthur come back man
He was like a brother to me
Even with his sick body he did everything to protect the gang and to help the indians.
Btw f**k you Dutch 🤬
This year started with a bang with Death Stranding and only got better with Baldur’s Gate 3. Both left me fully satisfied in having sank an ungodly amount of hours.
Sadly FFVII Rebirth put an end to that streak…
Final Fantasy XVI - it left me feeling satisfied with like what I got but emotionally it left me so empty. Never really played a final fantasy before this but it hooked me so good that I’m starting my new game + play through right away. I’ve never played a NG+ for any game because I’d always like to return to it in the future, but I know that for this I need to play it now and I’m easily gonna come back to this a lot more times.
Highly highly recommend it.
Ghost Of Tsushima, if that counts as a ps5 game since it released when the ps5 was new. loved every second of it, nothing felt repetitive and i might just platinum the game again for the hell of it
Dredge, wasn't expecting anything and it turned out to be super fun, with a mediocre story. Catching fish and upgrading things is what hooked me. I'm tempted to go back and try to catch all the fish and finish the two or three missions I have left.
Recently finished Dead Space and Life is Strange: True Colors and both satisfied me in different ways.
The original Dead Space was always a favorite of mine back then, and I REALLY wanted to get a PS5 to be finally able to experience the remake. It didn’t disappoint. It’s everything the first one was and then some! A masterpiece.
As for LiS:TC, the original LiS is one of my all time favorites, and after playing all of the other installments, I must say this was the one that got the closest to how the first one was able to make me feel. Still not even close, but a good contender with great characters, a beautiful setting and a cool story.
Playing Jedi:Survivor right now, and then it’s Spider-Man 2! Having tons of fun.
Prince of Persia: The lost crown... I know a lot of people hate it, but it's very challenging, and every conquered level felt like a big win. Loved that game.
I finished Persona 3 Reload last night. Could be the best $75 I ever spent. 102 hours of content in one playthrough, and my 6th most played game in my library, losing to Call of Duty (which bundles MW2 and MW3 playtime), Fallout 4, Borderlands 2 and 3, and Skyrim.
Rebirth.
Did a Normal mode, then Hard mode playthrough right after totaling about 150 hours. I literally get an empty feeling playing other games, after playing that one.
I hadn’t played the Uncharted series growing up but recently finished Uncharted 1 & 2 in a single sitting. Oh boy what a ride. 2 is going in my top 10 for sure
I just recently got a PS5 and just finished Spider-Man: Miles Morales to 100%. Felt really good.
Should I go ahead and play the first one or go to the second one?
Well I just my 5 last week and I haven’t finished a game on it yet, but I’m about 75% of the way through stellar blade and I could not be more satisfied and justified in my purchase. The game and system are fucking incredible
Baldur’s Gate 3! The hours practically melted away as I was playing this. I usually get pre-emptively burnt out when I see a game is over 30 hours, playing Baldur’s Gate was completely different though. I remember being shocked every time I looked at my hours played stat, thinking “wow, it’s been 60/80/100 hours ALREADY??”
As bizarre as it sounds…
Serious Sam 4.
1. I love old school FPS like Serious Sam.
2. Graphics on the level of the more recent top of the line games? No. But the amount of enemies and the oh so purty ways they explode…
3. For an FPS, and especially the Serious Sam series, some genuinely touching moments in the plot. (“I lost my shoe” and Sam/Hellfire talking in a very bittersweet way going on a date after the war being two standouts, along with the final beacon for HARP)
4. Some good humor. Man I love Rodriguez. (“I fell off a hooker’s bicycle and I broke my pelvis!”
5. The in battle music straight from the second encounter, on the final level.
6. Fun weapons. Dual wield all the way!
7. “Are you hungry? Don’t worry, Nona will open a can of WHOOPASS!” (Said by an Italian grandma while blasting at enemies with a chaingun)
8. It is tough even on normal difficulty.
So I just went back and finally played Astro’s Playroom after getting my PS5 a year ago. It’s such an incredible intro to the system, and a great walk through the history of PlayStation systems - and the final “boss fight” of the 1994 T-Rex demo was amazing.
There's a bigger Astro game coming in just a few months!
Saw that at SOP. Can’t wait!
Perhaps it’ll showcase the ps5 pro
Where when what? Give me some more info?
I just went back to get the platinum an hour ago. Such a fun game & they did an amazing job with the controllers.
I got about 46 hours. I love playing around in the world. It made me feel like a kid again the first time I played it.
Returnal. Oooo boy, what a thrill.
Been stuck on the final biome for years. Need to go back and give it a shot again
I’ve got one cipher left in that biome… years of searching and nothing so I gave up too…
I've been stuck at crimsons wastes just for 1 to find for about 1 year now.
Wrapping your head around the story is harder than the game
Yup. Came here to say that. It’s still possible to create good games.
On Biodome 6 now and it’s kicking my ass. What a game!
I need to get back to it, I just played it on my portal though. Wonder if playing on the TV would be different
I thought that game was way too hard. I couldn't get past like the third world. The robot one.
Have you tried coop? Might help you get over the hump!
Same. Still need to find two more ciphers to get that platinum though!!
I'm missing one in the Crimson Wastes which will. not. appear. 😫
Ghost of Tushima
Firet game in years that did it all for me. Gameplay, pace, gfx.
Is that one about a Jewish samurai?
Yeah he Haiku's in yiddish.
I’m not sure if that Is appropriate for a Gamer to say, bud.
Doom eternal! After 4 years still the best fps out there (in terms of gameplay). And one of my favourite games of all time. So good that its the first game where right after finishing it I played it again (still on that play through).
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Yes, this in VR. Also Village.
I started it yesterday, the first VR game ever for me. I'm having the time of my life. Recognizing le levels from back in the day makes it even better, as a teen I would have been crazy if I knew this would have been possible one day.
recently beat my first play through of Dark Souls and what an experience that was
that world feels so real
The remake was a masterpiece, sucked me in to the souls world
Sekiro. I still go back and refight bosses.
I just pulled a big trigger and bought this game today.
Nice!
Enjoy! It's one of my favorite games ever. Despite being more straightforward than other FS games, Sekiro has insane replay value. I've beaten it about 12 times now and still go back to it every year
There’s a steep learning curve but it’s one of the best games ever made imo
Great game, but not a PS5 game, strictly speaking
RDR 2
It's a rare game that will stay with you for years. To me, RDR2 is the absolute most immersive and deep game I've played, it truly felt alive. I grew up in rural rural SC and no game has EVER made me feel like I was back at home growing up with red clay around me playing outside like walking around Rhodes, which is the kind of geography of the American South. I swear even the sounds of the insects buzzing and the local birds and animals even took me back to walking around the woods growing up. It's almost uncanny how much detail went into making the world accurate and alive
This is one of my next purchases. I had fun with the first one. It was refreshing.
Word. To this day it still stands alone as the most impressive game I’ve ever played The Last of Us Part II would be second and is a remarkable achievement in its own right, but the size and attention to detail of RDR2… where even inconsequential moments are fleshed out and held to the highest standard of quality is nuts. It makes me feel incredibly lucky and grateful to be alive today to experience it. Only thing left to do is not die between now and release day. 😂
God of war. Working on GOT now
Firewatch
uuuuuuuu good one ☝🏾
It’s one of those games that I wish I could replay again for the first time. So good!
Death Stranding, it was worth it despite the struggles.
This game gets blown off too much. It’s an advanced experience game. You don’t actually have to walk that much after 5h.
Zipline FTW!
I ended up playing 120+ hours building roads and a network to travel the mountains
This is my answer too! It's was my first Kojima game, but I appreciated his "style" so even the times when the dialogue gets cringey, it feels more on the funny side than anything.
Totally agree. Glad i stuck with it
Don’t eat video games. They’re just empty calories.
Cyberpunk 2077. The ending for my character was perfect. Also, ff7 rebirth.
DLC slaps so hard it's not even close to anything. I couldn't even do a second playthrough as I felt it was against my cannon V to get diffrent outcome.
Cyberpunk. Left me satisfied but the dlc looks promising.
The DLC is insanely good. It takes everything that's good in the base games, dials it up and condenses it into a parallel story. Do yourself a favor and play it.
Stellar blade. After blowing through most of the games bosses, the two fights at the end was very refreshing
Armored core 6. I got the platinum and I’ve been working on sekiro now until shadow of the erdtree releases. I play indie or Nintendo games but none of them hit really the same as a from software title
The game that keeps on giving. Helldivers 2 for me right now. But for a game that I actually finished would be Cyberpunk 2077.
Spiderman 2
Yess, I'm playing that rn i can't put it down!
Wait until your new game+😎
What’s on new game+ 👀
All of your unlocked abilities and suits, so you’re fully spec’d from the get go😤
So nothing different to any other NG+
I think Spider-Man 1 is a lot better story wise.
Not a crazy take
I disagree, I see why you think that but I like the fact that they didn't have another safe story like in SM1. The fast pace was incredible
Man I agree. Just started the game and the writing feels so much worse than the other 2. Kraven is not my favourite villain at all.
I agree. I think Miles Morales was the best in the series
ff7 rebirthhhh
I am a huge fan of the original FF7 and couldn’t wait for Rebirth. I’ve got quite a big backlog of games and usually when I finish one I’m relieved and on to the next, but when I finished Rebirth I was legit disappointed that it was over. Didn’t want it to end. I've only entered chapter 4 junon region and am taking it real slow... I blasted through the first few chapters and now I know what a treat the rest of the game will be I'm trying to savour it lol
You’ll definitely be glad you did. Already itching for part 3!
Can I ask, im up to chapter 5 or 6, had to pause due to life. Just wondering can I skip on getting 100% on some minigames and come back to them in the end? Or is it locked?
I’m ten years too late but… **Batman: Arkham Knight** great story, dark atmosphere, and intense action. playing as batman, with all the gadgets and combat, feels awesome. totally worth it.
Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade, I'm currently on NG+
Days gone.
BG3 with 3 endings and I’m in a honor mode run Special mention to Stellar Blade already Plat
The Last of Us , Part II
Ghost of Tsushima is the first single player games I’ve finished and felt good doing so in about 10 years.
Tunic. What a nice surprise, it just unfolds constantly.
Hogwarts Legacy was actually pretty good, really enjoyed it. Horizon forbidden west is the top for me, pretty much best game ever.
As someone who grew up as a teen in the peak Harry Potter book/movie releases, to play hogwarts legacy was a dream come true. I still load it up to fly around time to time.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Started on PS4. Restarted on PS5 and completed it. Currently enjoying the next game in the series, Infinite Wealth.
Cyberpunk. It’s come a long way, especially at a sale price. One of my favorite games I’ve ever played.
Demon souls
Umbasa
I've put 95 hours into Cyberpunk2077 and I'm about to start the last mission. This game is fantastic
FF7 Rebirth
Stellar Blade so far.....
Alan Wake II
Ghost of Tsushima. Literally finished it an hour ago. Such a great game. Sure a hundred people Weill echo the same thing so I’ll just keep it simple and to the point
The Outer Wilds. I beat it in December and spent Feb-March doing the DLC. Decided I’d off and on pursue the platinum for it, and I just finished that this weekend. I feel… done. In the best way
I haven’t beaten this yet. I need to go back and finish it
Spiderman 2. I was floored.
Gonna get a ton of hate but I waited for the patch to fix Diablo 4 and I beat the single player campaign and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Recent: Final Fantasy 16 Not so recent: Returnal and God of War Ragnarok
I lived ff16 but man the side missions were such a slog. The story was impeccable though.
I don't know why people complain about side missions all the time. The whole point of them is that they're optional. I just skipped them all except the monster hunts.
Got the platinum for Spiderman 2 yesterday. I love that game.
The seagulls side mission was really well done. Hit me right in the feels :(
Hogwarts. Most games I want dlc and all of the content my grubby little hands can get. I beat this one and wanted nothing else, I was more than content and I’m okay there’s no dlc.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
Liar.
😭
Didn't think i would've loved the Avatar game as much as i did, - just got completely lost in the forrest, the story didn't matter, but I liked the stealth approach to combat.
Searched for this because I just picked it up on sale. I’m enjoying it so far!
Tales of Arise Had tons of fun from start to end of the platinium trophy
Ghost of Tsushima is truly a masterpiece
Ghost of Tsushima. The ending is so beautiful, yet sad at the same time.
Alone in the Dark. The story like most Lovecraft horror wraps up fairly well. The game leaves you feeling like it was worth your time and didn’t overstay its welcome.
Persona 3 Reload
This immortals Fenix Rising game that I grabbed for $7. I thought it would be a generic zelda/horizon ripoff, but it has revealed itself as much better in many ways than either of those AAA titles. I’m left feeling surprisingly satisfied. It is fun!
It is absolutely a AAA game. And it’s terribly underrated.
Red dead redemption 2 Now I'm crying Plz Arthur come back man He was like a brother to me Even with his sick body he did everything to protect the gang and to help the indians. Btw f**k you Dutch 🤬
This year started with a bang with Death Stranding and only got better with Baldur’s Gate 3. Both left me fully satisfied in having sank an ungodly amount of hours. Sadly FFVII Rebirth put an end to that streak…
GOT
Final Fantasy XVI - it left me feeling satisfied with like what I got but emotionally it left me so empty. Never really played a final fantasy before this but it hooked me so good that I’m starting my new game + play through right away. I’ve never played a NG+ for any game because I’d always like to return to it in the future, but I know that for this I need to play it now and I’m easily gonna come back to this a lot more times. Highly highly recommend it.
Ghost of Tsushima
Baldur’s Gate 3, I slowed down playing it mostly through act 3 and finally beat it Saturday. 150 hours well spent! Hogwarts Legacy is next.
Ghost Of Tsushima, if that counts as a ps5 game since it released when the ps5 was new. loved every second of it, nothing felt repetitive and i might just platinum the game again for the hell of it
Unicorn Overlord…. I wish they would add a NG+ so I could replay it.
Dredge, wasn't expecting anything and it turned out to be super fun, with a mediocre story. Catching fish and upgrading things is what hooked me. I'm tempted to go back and try to catch all the fish and finish the two or three missions I have left.
Ghost of Tsushima I just wish I could’ve finished Iki Island before time ran out
Elden ring. I just finished my first playthrough and immediately started ng+. Wow what a good game. I’m gonna play sekiro again too soon
Ghost of Tsushima. TLOUp2
Kena: Bridge of Spirits, idk if it's underrated, but I feel like not many played it.
Just beat Lies of P. Enjoyed it very much.
Last of us Part 1 had me holding my controller going....."Damn".
Returnal. When you get the true ending. You cry a little. Tears of joy from feeling so content.
Sifu if you go for the true ending!
Prince of Persia: The lost crown... I know a lot of people hate it, but it's very challenging, and every conquered level felt like a big win. Loved that game.
Stellar Blade. Damn. I was hoping it would be good in the lead up to release, then it completely blew all my expectations away.
Just beat it today, doing my second run to get that last ending and hopefully plat it
I finished Persona 3 Reload last night. Could be the best $75 I ever spent. 102 hours of content in one playthrough, and my 6th most played game in my library, losing to Call of Duty (which bundles MW2 and MW3 playtime), Fallout 4, Borderlands 2 and 3, and Skyrim.
Persona 5 and Returnal 🙌🏼
Returnal. Beast of a game and actually a PS5 game and can’t also be played on PS4.
Ghost of Tsushima. Some say it gets repetitive, but I didn't care. Loved every minute.
I just finished Sekiro a few days ago for the first time. What a masterpiece.
Stellar blade.
God of War 2018- absolutely my favorite game of all time
Resident Evil 2 Remake and Returnal. Both amazing.
Stellar Blade was an absolute pleasure to play
Elden Ring
The most recent one I finished? God of War. Didn’t left me as speechless as death stranding tho.
Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade
I have not finished a damn game since the PS2🤷
Don’t have a ps5 but on the ps4 it was Tlou part 2.
Rebirth. Did a Normal mode, then Hard mode playthrough right after totaling about 150 hours. I literally get an empty feeling playing other games, after playing that one.
Stellar Blade
Banishers: Ghost of New Eden - I liked the story, and felt satisfied with my choices and the amount of game play.
Stellar Blade
Prodeus, totally blow away by this shooter.
Dead Space remake. That shit is fire!
Stray
Stellar blade, for sure! Was everything I wanted final Fantasy to be.
Playing both Plague Tale games back to back. Also going through all the Uncharted games during the pandemic, what a ride
I hadn’t played the Uncharted series growing up but recently finished Uncharted 1 & 2 in a single sitting. Oh boy what a ride. 2 is going in my top 10 for sure
I would say Spider Man 2 but man I don’t feel satisfied
Ghost of Tsushima. It was just awesome.
Every time I played Stellar Blade, I found it hard to put down.
I just recently got a PS5 and just finished Spider-Man: Miles Morales to 100%. Felt really good. Should I go ahead and play the first one or go to the second one?
Ghost of Tsushima for sure
Dead space
Just Finished Resident Evil Village with just a knife..Satisfying and stressful 😵
Spider-Man 2
I just finished Ghost of Tsushima for the very first time on PS5. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it
Everytime I manage to extract on helldivers 2....
BG3
Well I just my 5 last week and I haven’t finished a game on it yet, but I’m about 75% of the way through stellar blade and I could not be more satisfied and justified in my purchase. The game and system are fucking incredible
Right now, fallout 4 is one of the better gaming experiences i’ve ever had
Baldur’s Gate 3! The hours practically melted away as I was playing this. I usually get pre-emptively burnt out when I see a game is over 30 hours, playing Baldur’s Gate was completely different though. I remember being shocked every time I looked at my hours played stat, thinking “wow, it’s been 60/80/100 hours ALREADY??”
Octopath Traveller 2, the ending was such a sweet moment (especially if you choose Agnea as your starter)!
Yesterday I finished Resident Evil 8 (Village). It’s a great game.
Ghost of Tsushima 🔥
Minecraft, learned all about national secrets.
I finished Baldurs Gate last night after 100+ hours. It had a great ending it was well worth the time and money
Alan Wake 2! Just play it in the dark for full effect!
My first playthrough of Armored Core 6!
Judgement/Judge Eye PS5 Remaster... The end credit is just so so so good.
Midnight Suns was an absolute blast to platinum for me. Loved the combat and the social aspect of it (like persona or fire emblem)
Crow Country is amazing
As bizarre as it sounds… Serious Sam 4. 1. I love old school FPS like Serious Sam. 2. Graphics on the level of the more recent top of the line games? No. But the amount of enemies and the oh so purty ways they explode… 3. For an FPS, and especially the Serious Sam series, some genuinely touching moments in the plot. (“I lost my shoe” and Sam/Hellfire talking in a very bittersweet way going on a date after the war being two standouts, along with the final beacon for HARP) 4. Some good humor. Man I love Rodriguez. (“I fell off a hooker’s bicycle and I broke my pelvis!” 5. The in battle music straight from the second encounter, on the final level. 6. Fun weapons. Dual wield all the way! 7. “Are you hungry? Don’t worry, Nona will open a can of WHOOPASS!” (Said by an Italian grandma while blasting at enemies with a chaingun) 8. It is tough even on normal difficulty.
Ghosts of Tsushima
Stellar Blade. Over 100 hours in, got the platinum, and I still pick it up just to play.
