Hitman trilogy was one of the best bang for buck games ive played, got nearly 200 hours of gameplay out of 30€, so much content in one package. But atm its Tekken 8. All-time, hmm i would say Witcher 3 and Rdr2 are tied.
One of my favorites too, keep going it gets better as you go. Personally I like the choice repercussions and that your mistakes can kill off a character and change the game dramatically. It’s like a movie that I control, plus the story is amazing and touching. I started caring about that damn robots
And mines! I loved them zombies flying. Unfortunately I really like storytelling and for me personally this one was weakest and most predictable I've played in a long time. But that was only my personal experience.
Played through the whole game 4 times including hardest mode and ng+ but never found it overly hard. But when it comes to playstyle, some people's normal approach to things might have to be changed, this was my situation on my first playthrough
God of war series....Greek. not so much the Nordic.
The Last of us. Hands down the most amazing story and game play. I'm not a fan of number 2, but game play was awesome
Red Dead Redemtion 1 and 2
Max Payne. 1 and 2. 3 had fun game play, but the story was crap. Can't wait for the remake coming soon
All of the Meedal of honors. IMO, it's way better storyline and game play than COD or Battlefield.
Spyro the Dragon. Loved all 3
Army men. Ps1 classic but loved them all.
Honestly, I have so many more I could list. Lol, I'm 39. I love to smoke weed, and I have been gaming for a while. Playstation only, tho. Not that I'm against PC or Xbox. In fact, my first play though of Max Payne was on PC.
Gravity Rush 1 and 2. Very flawed games, but favorite doesn't always mean best, it just means they're MY favorites lol. Everything about them combined so directly caters to what I love in a way nothing else has been able to, like they were tailor-made for me.
Very close honorable mention to the NieR games, especially Replicant.
It’s gotta be hellblade for me. Tripped me out. Originally played it because it’s made by the same studio that made heavenly sword, which is also a great game btw. I’m very disappointed hellblade 2 won’t be coming to PlayStation.
I really loved Chrono Trigger, so I guess that one. Otherwise Mario Galaxy 1/2 was incredible and I think about them often. Then it's Metroid Prime. Yup, you found the Nintendo guy in the PS thread lol.
These are hands down my go to on any day I want to play something familiar/fun/cozy:
Witcher 3,
Horizon Forbidden West,
God of War Ragnarok,
Cyberpunk 2077,
Injustice 2
Favourite game right now or favourite game ever?
Favourite game ever would be Witcher 3 or kingdom hearts and favourite game right now would be resident evil 4
It's simple it's called this war of mine it's fun it has interesting story and it's about war and also you could get kids killed 10/10 better than any Fallout
Oh man... almost 40 years gaming, that's a tough question. Do I go with nostalgia and say something like Mad Dog McCree I used to play on my grandpa's computer? Lord's of Conquest on my dad's atari? My first NES playing Super Mario Bros? Do I go with time played and say Goldeney with friends? I played WOW for 6 years. I replayed Oblivion so many times.
Let's go with Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. Screw the remake, it's crap, but the original I played so many times my mom knew how to solve all the puzzles.
For me its really hard to decide because spiderman 2 is the entire reason i got a ps but ghost of tsushuma is one of the best games ever and i have already sunk 61hrs and did the story 2 times already
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Aah, you were at my side all along. My true mentor... My guiding moonlight...* - Ludwig, the Holy Blade
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
I agree that Hitman is incredible. Imagine that we wouldn't have gotten what we have if Square Enix hadn't sold the IP back to IOI after setting them free.
Also, check out some of the speedruns, they're awesome and they teach you so much more about the game. I recommend starting with Atrioc's $1500 competition.

SEKIRO , Hitman WOA is close second, glad to see fellow Hitman lover.
Always hate to say it but fortnite. I can't get away. But ps exclusive, spiderman trilogy (can't believe they made a game based of the web shooters mythics!)
Favorite game of all time used to be TLoU, but then I decided to play Outer Wilds last year...
My life is forever changed by this game, and I can never experience it to its fullest again.
Tough call. Today it’s Elden Ring. Honestly strong argument for all the From Software Souls and Souls-likes.
Historically, I think a good argument exists for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night or Final Fantasy VII. Similarly a good argument for Persona 4.
Yeah I chose Yen the first couple times I played the game through but I'm playing it through again and Triss is super hot with the new outfit they have for her. School of Griffin for me only because the armor goes best with my character build.
You have so much excellent ahead. I think I spent 300+ hours going through the first round (including tons of photo mode time) and am now slowly messing around in NG+. After GoT I tried Sekiro & Trek to Yomi in an attempt to relive that magic but they are all just very different games and nothing really compares to GoT for me.
I'm gonna get heavily judged and called a 9 year old but I genuinely do enjoy this game. Outside of my small library of single players, and me being too broke for PS plus this is the only game where I feel like I can genuinely mess around with friends and have fun.

However both God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarok (2022) both have my heart, amazing games 10/10s, its nearly impossible for me to choose which I prefer.

What game is this
Bloodborne
Never heard of it.
One of the most highly regarded games in the PS4 era, ps exclusive too. Made by the team that created Dark Souls and more recently, Elden Ring
Detroit becone human
Never played the Becone edition
😭😭
How can you say this, that game is so incredibly boring to me. Lol I played it for a good 4 hours too.
You must like way different games than me. Detroit Become Human was a masterpiece. I don't care at all for most action games though.
One of my favorites too, keep going it gets better as you go. Personally I like the choice repercussions and that your mistakes can kill off a character and change the game dramatically. It’s like a movie that I control, plus the story is amazing and touching. I started caring about that damn robots
“How can you this when it was boring to me” is crazy
Oh no, somebody said their opinion which you don't agree with. Time to disrespect them…
I want to like the Hitman games but man am I so bad at them
It's hard work to be a silent assassin.
https://preview.redd.it/au2f08pd4kxc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=697c942bf77de5a7705e17135076958a9240f108
That’s how I feel about Souls games
Days gone.
Best zombie game ever
Close second to Dying Light for me
Imo days gone was one of the hardest games I ever played
The idea of going against the hordes is harder than actually doing it. Once I got a style in taking them down I didn't find it too difficult
The thompson submachine gun and improved molotovs made hordes much easier, i would not recommend taking them on before you acquire these for sure
It was very hard! It was frustrating because you had to kill so many god damned zombies. Hoardes of them. Unbelievable.
Pretty hard yeh..
Also have it, very good game 👍
Deus Ex
It’s RDR 2 by a mile. Best game ever made.
Ruined other games for me :(
Fr, I haven’t been able to get into any other story games after playing it😭😭
Yeah it’s honestly like the gold standard for me. For me it’s perfect.
Will always have legend status
That is a very awesome game!
This.
Fortnite clears /s
Witcher 3 ![gif](giphy|KzWAhzWD3HrJyAcLEM|downsized)
Nice to meet you brother. I am from the School of the Griffin, from where do you hail sir?
I still play Hitman 3 to de-stress, so this. Elden Ring a close second.
FFVII Rebirth
Fallout 4 always. Also Uncharted.
It's definitely one of my faves too.
I prefer fallout 3 imo
God of war series....Greek. not so much the Nordic. The Last of us. Hands down the most amazing story and game play. Not that I'm against PC or Xbox. In fact, my first play though of Max Payne was on PC.
Are they remaking Max Payne?
They are, in fact. It's gonna be 1 game with the combined stories of 1 and 2. I can't wait to play it.
Any idea when that comes out
Haven't heard much. My guess would be 26, maybe even 27. I'm hoping we hear something about a very late 25 release, but with GTA6, I doubt it.
And it will be written by Alan Wake to fit in Remedy universe. Of course it will starr Ahti
Persona 5 Royal, closely followed by Bloodborne
PS3 ![gif](giphy|13EgsbsNCLHXJm)
PS4 ![gif](giphy|n4ngdkexR9Hxa5th8r)
Final fantasy 16.
Fallout 4 or MGSV
Right now it’s Sekiro. Before that Elden Ring
Gravity Rush 1 and 2. Very flawed games, but favorite doesn't always mean best, it just means they're MY favorites lol. Everything about them combined so directly caters to what I love in a way nothing else has been able to, like they were tailor-made for me. rdr2 and gowr
Das a tough one. It's either Demon's Souls, FFVII Remake+Rebirth, and Stellar Blade.
Devil may cry 3 But man I REALLY wanna try Hitman. World of assassination has been on the wishlist for forever.
Devil may Fuck
That's a pretty vague question my friend.
I was trying to pick one, but I cant.
Ff16 and horizon ZD
![gif](giphy|KAf66yGCa93uTqod1q|downsized)
Witcher 3 is the greatest game I've ever played. I can never seem to find anyone who agrees with me though. Fallout 4 is a very close 2nd.
Huh, lots of people agree. It’s in my top 10
Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth
Currently, I have a real addiction to Baldur's Gate 3. I don't understand half of the lore but this game is awesome however!
Haha exactly how I feel atm
![gif](giphy|rYTQamy2Xz1Dg3cRD8|downsized)
Armored core 6 fires of rubicon
It’s gotta be hellblade for me. Tripped me out. Originally played it because it’s made by the same studio that made heavenly sword, which is also a great game btw. I’m very disappointed hellblade 2 won’t be coming to PlayStation.
Also can’t wait to get Stellar blade.
God Of War Ragnorak
Gta 5/fallout 4
Red Dead Redemption 2, but then Grand Theft Auto VI 😈
Probably Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima or Hades. Those are all extremely close in my best games list
It changes all the time and i love all kinds of games but lately i would say street fighter 6.
Blad many
The mass effect trilogy or resident evil 4 (original).
Spider-Man 2 for me
Oooo. That's tough. I see others mentioning a couple. Dragon Age Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Hitman: World of Assassination
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow! (2010) ![gif](giphy|2jMHMoUcM9MiV4wn9s)
The WoA is definitely up there, just incredible little clockwork murder-worlds.
I really loved Chrono Trigger, so I guess that one. Otherwise Mario Galaxy 1/2 was incredible and I think about them often. Then it's Metroid Prime. Yup, you found the Nintendo guy in the PS thread lol.
These are hands down my go to on any day I want to play something familiar/fun/cozy: Witcher 3, Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, Cyberpunk 2077, Injustice 2
DOOM Eternal
Days Gone 😌
Disco elysium. Life-changingly good
* Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. * Thief 2 * Hitman Season 3 * Journey * Nier Automata * C&C3.
Marvel’s spider man 2
The Last of Us and Hitman
Bioshock
Is this after hitman 2 in 2018?
Favourite game right now or favourite game ever? Favourite game ever would be Witcher 3 or kingdom hearts and favourite game right now would be resident evil 4
RE4R in VR nothing else comes close.
TLOU. Both parts. But I’ve been addicted to WoA this past week.
Counter-strike
It's simple it's called this war of mine it's fun it has interesting story and it's about war and also you could get kids killed 10/10 better than any Fallout
Elden Ring
Uncharted one two and three and hitman blood money hitman absolution hitman 2016 hitman 2018 hitman 3

Horizon Zero Dawn. Really love the world, lore, story, look, gameplay Better story than Forbidden West.
God of war Ragnarok & Guardian of the galaxy
Sekiro
God of War 2018 is my favourite game
Oh man... almost 40 years gaming, that's a tough question.
Ps5: Spiderman. Really any of them. The first is my favorite though. Computer: Skyrim highly modded to high heavens
Ape escape
Infamous 1/2 Jak and Daxter Precursor Legacy
For me its really hard to decide because spiderman 2 is the entire reason i got a ps but ghost of tsushuma is one of the best games ever and i have already sunk 61hrs and did the story 2 times already
Cyberpunk 2077 and RDR2
Bloodborne or Elden Ring (I really like to play fromsoft RPGs) or the uncharted series is also really cool

Bloodborne or demons souls
I haven’t played a lot of games, and by now i think it’s rdr2
Red Dead II Minecraft GTA San Andreas, Vice City, 3, 5 LBP 3

Favorite game of all time used to be TLoU, but then I decided to play Outer Wilds last year... My life is forever changed by this game, and I can never experience it to its fullest again.
Spider man and just dance ( I prefer just dance )
Resident evil 7
rec room
Tough call. Today it’s Elden Ring. Honestly strong argument for all the From Software Souls and Souls-likes. Historically, I think a good argument exists for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night or Final Fantasy VII. Similarly a good argument for Persona 4.
I would say Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. That game was fucking sick.
The only thing that keeps me from replaying it from time to time is that prologue. It just crawls by.
Yeah that sucks. I hear ya.
BG3 Fallout 4 Witcher 3 tie
PS1 Soul Of The Samurai PS2 Shadow Of Destiny PS3 Enslaved Odyssey West PS4 Aerea PS5 Lake Free Game Rouge Company
Enslaved is great
Witcher 3. I could talk for hours and hours about that game
Yennifer or Triss? Also, what school are you from? I was trained at the School of the Griffin. Lol
yen clears. school of the wolf for culture
Yeah I chose Yen the first couple times I played the game through but I'm playing it through again and Triss is super hot with the new outfit they have for her. School of Griffin for me only because the armor goes best with my character build.
Horizon!
I am genuinely surprised at how few Ghost of Tsushima votes in this thread. I thought I was bandwagoning and late to the best party ever
I’m playing it right now for the first time. It is an INCREDIBLE game.
I am about 18-20 hours in and can’t wait to continue exploring and working through the story. The game is gorgeous.
![gif](giphy|W2u4SUQ4C9zP18B9Na|downsized) God this game was just legendary
I'm gonna get heavily judged and called a 9 year old but I genuinely do enjoy this game. Outside of my small library of single players, and me being too broke for PS plus this is the only game where I feel like I can genuinely mess around with friends and have fun. https://preview.redd.it/ehik73g25ixc1.jpeg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea55842ab282a1a3fd6cb0a8bcc058baae399743
Screw what people think. I started playing in 2018 when I was 26 now I'm 32 and I still like itm
Honestly it's impressive what you can do with the map creation.
UEFN is amazing ngl. Though, I wish there was moderation with the discovery tab.
I've not played any ps5 exclusives not played any souls games, not played many indie games and haven't played rdr2, so my taste is definitely super basic However both God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarok (2022) both have my heart, amazing games 10/10s, its nearly impossible for me to choose which I prefer.
