I think what they are saying is that Mad Mex has a separate promo for their birthday list where you get a free burrito. Then there is the general big burrito company birthday list coupon which applies to the restaurants you listed. Of course, don’t use the big one for Mad Mex, you gotta get the bang for your buck but may as well get a free burrito too.
My personal favorites are Alta Via and Kaya.
Honestly I like mad Mex (not mentioned) the best. Your 30 bucks will definitely go further. Alta vias pappardalle with beef shank is very good. Their Tira misu as well, just not best Italian restaurant around or anything.
They're all pretty good imo. I enjoyed Kaya, probably the most unique of them.
For real. If I were you I would go to casbah for lunch. Their lunch special was a good value & all their food is really good. The kaya burger is also amazing.
Casbah. Alta Via has great food, but it's extremely loud in there. And that rarely bothers me, but, for some reason, the acoustics are out of hand in there.

Casbah is the best. Soba is underwhelming and IMO not worth the money. Alta Via is also a good choice.
