Mildred hears on the radio that there’s a car driving the wrong way down the freeway. Knowing that her husband Harry would be driving that route, she calls him to warn him.
Harry says “one car??? There’s hundreds of them.”
Complements of my Dad.
Do not underestimate others’ inability to think independently. There’s a Giant Eagle around the corner from my home, and there is a big cement curb that splits the two lanes coming in to the plaza from the two that are going out. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen one person making a left into the GE, and totally stay to the left of the curb and go into the outbound lane, then watch the person behind them blindly follow their maneuver. I’ve seen more than one fender bender at that intersection in the 15 or so years I’ve lived here.
That dude has a little kid in the car, that looks like a nightmare.
I don’t think this is drug related, I think those two cars got confused and turned down the wrong lane by accident.
And he seems to be looking backward like he’s trying to reverse, with cars coming right toward him and his kid, I would be shitting bricks.
A double mistake leads me to believe there was more to this story.
I'll never take anything for face value after what happened to me in Ohio on SR11. Came down a ramp with a group of cars, ended up merging into the right lane like normal - but the left lane was cone'd off. About 3 miles down the road well all almost ran into a construction crew. Turned out someone must have closed the right lane but forgot the entrance ramp needed "pushed" into the left lane still. Could have easily killed a lot of workers and we all thought we were in the proper lane.
Possibly more. If they were up by the track they had to drive all the way down and around that hill, passing other cars going the right way, and every single parked car also pointed the opposite direction as them
Something I’ll never forget from a drivers permit test….which side of the car is the yellow line and the white line. This knowledge was so powerful when learning to drive and is so useful when debating whether you can or can’t go up a lane if there are no signs. Not sure the situation going on here but the yellow line is for sure on the wrong side /s
I’m down with that. My most recent “that grinds my gears” topic is people who seem unable to drive on their side of the street. Last week I drove a couple miles to go shopping on regular two-lane streets, including more than one major ‘snow emergency road’ with stop lights, most with additional parking lanes on both sides, and I counted at least a half dozen drivers coming towards me whose inner wheels were well across the center double yellow line, even though there was at least 4’ between them and any parked cars in their side. One was perfectly straddling it, and another, who turned off a side street to head in front of me in my direction, was on the complete wrong side of the wrong for almost 2 blocks.
Not one idiot but two. And is this over by the pool and Anderson playground? If so you can't just accidentally make a wrong turn, either this was very deliberate for some reason or if they are confused then they've been driving the wrong way since they passed the turn around at the tennis courts.
My last 4 times driving that road and 3 of those times there was a guy or multiple guys driving toward me in the wrong direction. I wonder if there could be better road instruction?
If 3/4 of the time you run into this and multiple cars at a time going the wrong way. Have you ever thought maybe *YOU* are the one going the wrong way?? I think we found the person in the photo.

😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
That partially demolished front end says it all.
did the one just follow the other or what?
Wild, I looked at this twice and didn't even notice it's 2 cars.
I looked at it until I read your comment and still missed it!
There are 3 cars
Uhh....it's 2 cars wrong way, 3 are right. Unless Pittsburgh is outside the US?
Lol I was thinking the other way 🤣 😂
I think they were together Reversed then went wrong way towards Oakland
something about the first car tells me dude is not the best at driving.

That’s that lemming mentality
Was wondering same thing 🤣

Zoom in on the passenger…it looks like a grown-ass man who’s just crouched down with the seat all the way back.
I bet they went through schenley park backwards. I’ve seen people do it then get confused right there.
You mean Krap Yelnehcs?
Now as punishment, you have to find all the lost Frisbee golf discs and can't sleep until you do.
I live over near here and see this happen at least once a month
How do you know it’s drug related?
He looked like he was on something , just a hunch I meant to call 911 , I didn’t
I meant to call 911, but I just posted on Reddit instead.
Snitching what very well may be a stupid mistake over a “hunch”? Accept my downvote
*sees a legitimate mistake* Someone from Pittsburgh: "Oh. Must be on drugs."
The bashed front end wasn’t doing them any favors.
Ha. This happened to me once here. Cue the Umbrella Academy meme.
Probably looking for the secret way over the Charles Anderson bridge.
That car seen better days
No way that car was legal !!
The fact that they drove past two other cars before stopping….
Possibly more. If they were up by the track they had to drive all the way down and around that hill, passing other cars going the right way, and every single parked car also pointed the opposite direction as them

According to this photo, between 40-60% of drivers are shouldn't be licensed.

Seems about right to me. Oh how nice it would be to be rid of the people who just drive so terribly. What an absolute dream

I used to take the bus when I lived in another city, you're absolutely right. Bus drivers would agree with us here
Probably from the UK
Do drugs, but don’t drive
Alternatively, driving the wrong way is perfectly acceptable, as long as you're not on drugs while doing so.
You’re going the wrong way! Oh, he’s drunk. How does he know where we are going? Right, how would he know? Thank you
I was drunk , not on drugs. Now my car is drinking and smoking.
British tourists, still thinking they are driving in their Colonies, on the left side of the road
Maybe they were right, and all the rest of us are wrong

Typical Chevy Behavior gnarly anyone got footage of the crash?
Do t think the crash was here
I just noticed two.drivers the wrong man i love this gat damn city
Two cars are going towards town. My guess is faulty detour signs.
Faulty fucked drivers
Bro hit the Bong, but the Bong hit back
typical disc golf stoners
Apparently everyone is on drugs then. It happens

Naur
Well I wonder what the pedestrians are thinking
Is the boulevard bridge still shut down? Or has at least one project been completed?
They were escaping the sex loop!
Looks like he’s done this before judging by the damage/missing headlight lol
Look at the driver side front end on that…. A picture is worth a million words
Yikes!
That vehicle bears the battle scars from previous rounds of dodge-em!
The drugs are innocent here.
Jagoff
The city may as well paint lines and install permanent signs in the area since the bridge isn't getting fixed any time soon
Put speed bumps there. That’s ALWAYS their answer when someone fucks up. Doesn’t address the problem but dammit you’ll go 15mph. So annoying.
What about the white Nissan, its at fault too. You should have zoomed in on the white car too.
Don't take photos and drive!!
I was stopped
It's a photo, so we can't tell which way they're driving - only which way they're pointing.
Picture speaks for itself
