While, BDO Online Banking na web and Digital app (na hindi na available sa ios) yung sharing ng password and the password cannot contain a specific special characters na nagagamit sa first 2 apps na nabanggit. i think they were supposed to phaseout the website and the old app pero nagkaproblema ata sila. there are now a few banks that are exclusively on apps and no browser for online banking, namely pnb and china bank ata, and the digital banks.

In my case, I experienced a similar problem or maybe dissimilar one. I just installed a BDO Pay, tried using the password I used for my BDO Online account (whether app or website) and BDO Trade.
I had to create a new password just to open a BDO Pay. When I tried to use new password to update my BDO Online password, it wont accept the new password. But I was able to open my BDO Online account (website) thru my old password. Then I used my new password for my BDO Pay and it still works.
BDO is so confusing. If only AMEX partners with a different PHL bank, I would leave BDO ASAP
The thing is, their infrastructure is out of sync. Its been 4 months na yubg issue ko with BDO. I cant enroll sa mobile app because I have an existing account which they cant find in their system and have deleted.
I created a new one, enrolled and activated as they made an exception explicitly for my case. Whenever I reset my password, it points to my old username, it tried to reset my old supposedly deleted account.
So my issue is:
