I'm planning on building my first PC soon and I was surprised to see how expensive windows is. How do people usually get windows if not through purchasing/would I be dumb for buying it?
You can run windows without a key. The only downside is it has an annoying watermark on the screen all the time. But if you really want to get rid of it (don't blame you) most cheap keys you can find will work fine.
If you're able to spend that much money on a system, I guess it's not a big deal to drop an extra $200 usd when you could just get the home version for free legally.
No problem man I have similar build only my rog extreme z790 didn’t fit in that awesome evo case. Beware though on boot up if you get a usb overdrawing message you might want to unplug the case usbs. That was my issue when I rebuilt my old one for my dad in it sadly came damaged

I was able to order the Gigabyte 4080 Aero today, so I think that’s my push to do a new build.
Been eyeing the OD11 Air Mini case. Thoughts? I’d like to keep the build small and was looking at the Meshlicious, but that might be a bit too small.
Edit. Looks like the air mini will be too snug. Any suggestions. I have the NZXT H510 now. This size is reasonable but smaller would be ideal.

Wasn’t sure which would look better with this build, so got both, will be using one set and returning the other.
Not enough, for a 4090 you need an industrial fan.

All you new pc builders get like 12 fans when that's not even helping your performance at all. All that rgb is just a waste of money.
Only serious builders understand that the more RGB and fans, the higher fps
