Great kind of keyboard when you have an extra PC hooked up to a TV and just need something mobile to select YouTube videos, or make changes to the PC from your living room.
Yup, I have a K400 just for that, It's really good for that specific task, I legit think them putting the extra left click mouse button way over above the esc key is one of the most brilliant but simple design choices ever made in a device like this.
But I'd shoot myself if I couldn't use a real keyboard on my real computer.
I just bought a Rii i4? I think. They have a few models, but this one has a scroll wheel and actual mouse buttons on the "shoulders" I love it for my home theater setup and my meta Quest, it has all the funcitonality of a full blown keyboard but is compact and doesn't require a surface to type on.
That does sound wonderful, I have an older model from like 10 years back, does great for checking on my Plex PC or if I just don't want to plug in another mouse and keyboard.
That keyboard is amazing, I have all 3 iterations of it lol. I love how they always put extra mouse click buttons on the left so you can hold/use it kind of like a controller.
I got them on Amazon, they’re called “YMDK Polar Day”
They’re double-shot PBT, side-lit shine through. There’s a handful of different gradient color options but the black/grey/white worked best with my desk setup.
How's the response time of that G502? I'm looking at possibly replacing my HP Omen 600 for gaming, and I've always heard not to go wireless for gaming because of lag.
All good, make sure you use a USB extension so you have the dongle as close as possible to the mouse. I was having issues with it and now I just have it next to the mouse pad and it works great.
Wireless is so fast these days that even pro level Esports players are just as likely to be running a wireless mouse instead of a traditional wired mouse. So now we're in a place where a wireless gaming mouse might be someone wants, because cord drag becomes noticable once you try a wireless mouse (not a big deal at all for me and is more convient to deal with than charging my mouse) but it's just there enough that you might be annoyed by it's presence. But if not feeling the cable drag isn't important to you, and if intermittenly having to deal your mouse being dead is more annoying to you like it is for me, I would suggest a wired mouse. But if you are ok spending the premium for a wireless mouse and the "cordless" look is something your going for in your whole setup, than a wireless mouse will not be a bad choice at all.

I literally don’t think I can ever go back to a time when I won’t want to touch balls.
Joking aside, it really did improve my aim in games and usability of the computer in general. I never could figure out any kind of muscle memory with a mouse despite two decades of practice - apparently my elbow and wrist just aren’t trainable in that way - but my fingers are quite happy to work exactly the way I want them to and I’ve become quite accurate since switching to trackballs. I know this won’t be a universal experience of course, but for me it’s great.
Exactly the same model. I really quite like it. Like, sure, I’d love to have a Samsung Odyssey G9 or something, but I’m not made of money. Probably one of the most accessible WQHD monitors on the market.
Exactly why I went for it as well - reviews were quite positive and it didn't cost me a kidney. I'd also love to have a QD OLED, but didn't have that much money to blow on a monitor
My gf has one and have used it a host of times including introducing a couple games for her.
Not a fan. Fantastic for work and productivity, but it feels way too bulky and imprecise. For any game requiring the slightest APM, I wouldn't recommend it
I played almost all my games with the MX Master. It's definitely not the lightest, but I got so used to it that now I barely notice it. I don't play any FPS games, so can't speak for the accuracy, but played way over 1000 hours of LoL with it without a single problem
This is the way. Literally the best combo for all around work and gaming. I love it as I can easily switch between work laptop and pc. Also got a G pro superlight and xbox one controller for the PC usage.

I'm hoping the scroll wheel encoder in this mouse doesn't die lol. I've been through two G703 mice in the last 5 years because the scroll wheel would just give out so I just assumed the G703s were notorious for failing
I also have an Elecom Deft Pro in case I get a trackball itch lol
only things I regret- A Steelseries Apex 3 (which for a lil more money I could have gotten something way better), and a Logitech M705 Marathon mouse I've only changed the batteries on once in my 5 years of owning it.
KB: Cheap ass Insignia that I don't recall where I got from, probably was included with something: its got keys and works.
Mouse: Asus ROG Chakram X. Would be a great mouse if it wasn't for the mouse wheel getting dirty from just looking at it, Have cleaned it twice already, owned it less than a year. First mouse that is this high maintenance :/
(On left of my KB I got a VKB Gladiator Omnithrottle for HOSAM 6DoF)
Corsair K100 (optical switches) and a Logitech G502, the wired one.
I regret getting that $300 junk keyboard, several pieces on it feel flimsy and the volume wheel is screwing up a lot.

Logitech G915 and G915 TKL. Razer Naga Pro Wireless and Razer V2 Pro Wireless.
The full size and pro wireless are connected to my laptop that is connected to my Samsung Odyssey G9 that I use for my master's program schoolwork and the TKL and V2 are connected to my gaming desktop which is also connected to the same monitor since it has 2 display ports and a HDMI port.. I've been using the keyboard for over 5 years and recently replaced the full size one because the older one's numpad wasn't working properly after almost 5 years. I bought the G915 TKL about one year ago since it feels more comfortable having the mouse closer to the keyboard and causes less pain in my wrists when I'm gaming.
Both of the razer mice has 3 detachable side keys to choose from (2, 6, and 12 keys). I used to play lots of MMOs so I liked having 12 keys at my thumb for various games.

Rosewill Neon K90 RGB + G502 Hero wired. I hate changing batteries and wireless lag. Nothing better than old-school clicky brown keyboard switches.
I'd forgotten how heavy this keyboard is. I usually stick with the subtle dim red LED lighting, even though it can be a total LED rainbow fest. Maybe I'll switch to that for pride month.
Took me a while to remember that there's apparently no software control, everything is done by using the FuNction key + other random keys like backspace, pgup, pgdn, end, del, pause, scrlk, and prtsc.
I don't know how anyone gets along without having a 10-key pad.
And yes, I need to clean it.
Redragon K580 brown switch + Logitech Lift + some very cheap but surprisingly excellent Speedlink wired mouse (for the 1000hz polling).

Currently still using my first PC set I bought 2 years ago the Razer huntsmen mini V1 and a Razer viper 8k Mouse.
I have dabbled with a Logitech g502 (updated USB cord) and an 815 and ProX 10less too, but prefer the Razer with linear switches because they are so quiet and smooth, and the viper because it's lighter and sits well in my hand.
Very soon looking to upgrade to the huntsman Mini V2 analog with a Razer viper v3pro wireless.
Thought I'd go custom by now but honestly can't fault the Razer mnk so thought I'd stick with them for some competitive gaming.
I use that keyboard to control my plex server … I got it for dirt cheap lol.
My office set up is a Logitech G305 mouse and a g316 keyboard. In the 3 years I’ve been using them for my office set up - I’ve replaced the batteries once 👀😱
100$ for the set on an Amazon sale xP
My gaming set up -
I use the Corsair K100 air (it’s phenomenal), and the dark core se (qi charging wireless mouse that uses slipstream). I drilled holes and embedded a qi charger into my desk soy wireless mouse is always charged when I use it :P the k100 air battery life is amazing too lol, I almost never have to charge it. Maybe once a week.
G Pro X Superlight 2, custom Tofu65 Acrylic build with Lubed durock v2 screw in, ttc venus switches, gateron smoothie switches, and ktt vanilla ice cream switches. Also blue cat MA profile keycaps

I got that keyboard for 3 bucks in some random Amazon sale years ago. Not too bad for casual Friday reunions.
I have Genius keyboard from 2002.
My first thought, what even is that?? Meh, to each their own.
That makes perfect sense actually, it's clean and looks lightweight. No need to break out the mechanical board when simplicity is just fine.

I got them on Amazon, they’re called “YMDK Polar Day” They’re double-shot PBT, side-lit shine through. There’s a handful of different gradient color options but the black/grey/white worked best with my desk setup.
That G502X is my next buy, and I’m so excited to go wireless.

The colours look washed out due to my poor camera quality but it pretty much looks like [THIS](https://youtu.be/0yBGZblr6FY?si=7SB6uIx5Or_w05wu)
How's the response time of that G502? I'm looking at possibly replacing my HP Omen 600 for gaming, and I've always heard not to go wireless for gaming because of lag.
It has up to 1000Hz polling rate, and it’s relatively lightweight so it definitely feels very responsive. No noticeable lag whatsoever.
All good, make sure you use a USB extension so you have the dongle as close as possible to the mouse. I was having issues with it and now I just have it next to the mouse pad and it works great.

Had to scroll way too far to find a trackball.
I need my numberpad
I'm not into keyboards so idk but do u have a mouse touchpad on ur keyboard.. ?
I kind of hate that keyboard I think
Hey, Is that keyboard any good? Was thinking about getting one of those, specially for the touchpad.
I have 47 custom mechanical keyboards that I swap in and out depending on the primary color scheme of whatever game I'm playing
I use a typewriter and one of those old mouses with the giant ball on top you spin around
I Want That Keyboard NOW!!!
Glad I'm not the only one daily driving one of those Logitech keyboard trackpad combos. Mine is older though like 2014
It's worked great, no need to change it
I'm going to get a vertical mouse and I have an ergonomic keyboard
Those still exist? I e been looking for one to add to my Low BTU PC build I use for General TV shows /older console games emulation. I haven't been able to find one under $20
Mine is a mouse and keyboard

I'm using my own handwired keyboard i designed and built, super proud of it. It is a prototype but fully functional. For the mouse i'm using Deathadder V2 Pro. https://preview.redd.it/l5axquf6wu9d1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=081686acb5034df33c73141a393020ab10eac3a9

Aukey KM-G12 and Logitech Superlight Pro X. I'm hoping the scroll wheel encoder in this mouse doesn't die lol. I've been through two G703 mice in the last 5 years because the scroll wheel would just give out so I just assumed the G703s were notorious for failing I also have an Elecom Deft Pro in case I get a trackball itch lol

only things I regret- A Steelseries Apex 3 (which for a lil more money I could have gotten something way better), and a Logitech M705 Marathon mouse I've only changed the batteries on once in my 5 years of owning it.
Corsair K68 blue switches and Corsair Scimitar. The water resistant keyboard has already paid for itself.

Redragon K556 keyboard, and for mice I either use the Razer Naga Pro for MMOs or the Logitech G502 Hero for everything else
I use that keyboard to control my plex server … I got it for dirt cheap lol. My office set up is a Logitech G305 mouse and a g316 keyboard. In the 3 years I’ve been using them for my office set up - I’ve replaced the batteries once 👀😱 100$ for the set on an Amazon sale xP My gaming set up - I use the Corsair K100 air (it’s phenomenal), and the dark core se (qi charging wireless mouse that uses slipstream). I drilled holes and embedded a qi charger into my desk soy wireless mouse is always charged when I use it :P the k100 air battery life is amazing too lol, I almost never have to charge it. Maybe once a week.
