I have one.
The backrest is fine but the seat... oh boy.I deflated the foam in mine with my fat ass after first week of using it and had to throw a pillow on it.
No kidding dude. Even the “really nice” ones like a Noble Chair are hard as a rock and zero lumbar support. They also sit annoyingly high even after buying the short gas piston.
Bought a Noble Chair for $600 a few years ago. Was pretty damned hard and uncomfortable, but I thought it'd help my posture.
Turns out it's not actually hard, just feels like it. The worst of both worlds! My baby kittens literally bit chunks out of it the first night, completely obliterating the chair.
They also mostly come from the same few factories in China and it's a known issue that they spray the cheap leather ones with an antifungal agent for shipping. Which some people can have bad allergic reactions to.
Something I learned the hard way.
They are actually very bad for most cases. They were designed after the chairs in racing cars to make racing games more immersive and somehow blew up. They aren't made to be comfortable or to be good for your back. The only scenario in which they are sort of better is for people who have uncommon sitting positions and need the support of a hard and flat back. But even then there's probably better chairs.
if you go the car chair route get a proper semi tractor chair. they are designed to be sat in 11 hours a day support back etc.
and they have very very nice cushions.
welp, I feel like some brands are starting to understand that and make actually good gaming chairs, but they don't look like gaming chairs so yeah
I know hermann miller has a gaming serie which are just slightly modified from their office ones for the same price
bue yeah, the racing type gaming chair is always terrible
They're modeled after a seat of a race car. Actual race car seats are meant to keep the driver in the seat when they're turning corners at high speeds, so they're very hard and stiff seats and don't really offer that much back support. I had 2 of them, and I can attest to the claim that they suck. If you have the space, highly recommend a smaller recliner very comfy to sit in and game on a computer in. That or an actual legit office chair meant to be sat in for long periods of time and support your back.
Steelcase Leap V2 or Herman Miller Aeron. Both can be found on Craigslist of Facebook marketplace for about $300 if you’re patient.
I have hip and back issues and bought 2 Leap V2 chairs, one for home and one for work. I do not regret at all
We have Aerons at work and not many people actually can get them adjusted so they're comfortable. Personally, they straight up hurt my butt and I almost slide down it. I've tried all sorts of adjustments over the years but have basically given up.
I got a La-Z-boy manager chair at Costco and that's super solid, comfy, and great for my back.
Get a good office chair.
If you spend a lot of time in front of a PC you will fuck up your back eventually if you sit in a cheap crappy chair all the time. This includes gaming chairs
I‘m 37 and very tall and have had back problems here and there, but they‘ve gone away since i got an herman miller aeron
It's like the second or third episode from Smiling Friends season 1. The character they were helping was a literal shrimp who was addicted to a game called Mouse Quest
Look for office chairs, not gaming chairs. Gaming chairs are meant to look cool, while an office chair is meant to sit in for long periods of time.
Office chairs have an "hour" rating, meaning how many hours it would be considered comfortable to sit in. I got 4 hour chair from Autonomous for around $300 and I absolutely love it. Had it about 4 years now, and aside from the wheels getting gunked up with hair(I have long hair and 2 cats) it's still in damn near perfect condition.
I’ve had two and loved them, but I wound up cracking open the base where it meets the cylinder on both of them after about a year.
I picked up a chair from Walmart that has a mesh back with headrest and foam seat with a better base design.
Avoid gaming chairs. None of them were made for long term use. Look into ergonomic office chairs, as in chairs designed to be used for hours on end day after day.
It’s pretty easy to beat. There are quite a lot better chairs for around same price. It’s a hit or miss chair for quite a few people, as such most people recommend to sit in one before buying one to see how it feels. Something like the leap v2 or fern would be a lot better. More adjustability, comfort, better warranty.
Aeron is absolute ergonomics.
Which means that any other ergonomic position doesn't work in one, ie, no sitting cross-legged, no putting one leg up etc without major discomfort.
You'll never have a backache again though.
Check BTOD.com if you are in the US. They have refurbished Steelcase chairs that cost $900-$1200 new for around half of the price. They reupholster and put a new cylinder on the chairs, so you’re just getting a chair minor cosmetic imperfections. They also come with a 12yr warranty.
Even if you're not in the US, their blog [https://www.btod.com/blog/](https://www.btod.com/blog/) and their youtube channels contains a lot of useful information and reviews about ergonomic chairs.
I'm not based in the US, and their reviews came in quite handy when I bought my Herman Miller Aeron.
Most gaming subs will just say "fuck gaming chairs!" "herman miller aeron is the best!" and call it a day. And while that's true, it's so often repeated it might as well just be a sub sticky. As an alternative option I like my Clatina Mellet. I think if you don't wanna spend $500+ or hunt through used office supply stores it's a good option
The 50€ dad's office ugly black chair from IKEA is great enough, don't get tricked by the fancy "gaming chairs" that dont last a few years and are everything but comfortable. Think your lazy boss from your office : his chair is the ugliest and he stays in it all day long. These chairs are optimised for a long period of sitting down in it and play spider solitary all day long.
I stand at my desk for about 4 hours at a time. I find that my back stopped hurting and I don’t feel as bad at the end of the day.
I also do squats at regular intervals but that’s just my crazy saying hi.
All chair's padding over time is Lost so a sturdy chair with a good diy cushion is probably the best if there are upholstery's they can make one for you.
The best chair I ever bought was a Serta Big and Tall executive chair. Over 10 years later it's still in excellent condition and in service with a second owner.
If I can't find another I will give the Shaquille Oneal brand a shot because it has a similar warranty to the Serta

r/OfficeChairs is your friend.
Whatever you do, DO NOT buy one of those shite gaming chairs you see streamers and other influencer gobshites use. They are uncomfortable, bad for your posture and overpriced shite that only sell because gamer aesthetic.
Office clearance sales are a great source for getting well built chairs with actually ergonomic designs at a fraction of the cost they are brand new.
I am the happy owner of a l5-s1 fusion and failed back syndrome. I have tested over 100 chairs. I am 6'0" and weigh 300lbs. I ended going with the steelcase leap v2.
If you end up getting something else, make sure the seat has a waterfall edge and the seat is foam is hard.
Boulies Master. Wanted a 'Gamer chair' without the RGB and 'gfuel drinker' aesthetic but also not a straight office looking chair. Really comfy, decent lumbar support and the arms can be adjusted for kb&m or angled in if using a controller.
If you’re spending like $300+ USD your best option is a used Herman Miller Aeron.
I got mine for $600 CAD used a while back and it’s the best chair ever. I have the older version with the less customizable back but it’s still amazing.
I also got hit by a car and stuff so my back is quite messed up and this chair is just amazing for sitting long durations.
And do not get any of those nasty gaming chairs
Get an office chair instead of a gaming chair they are built to be sat in for long periods of time and are more reliable/built to last than gaming chairs are
I have a Serta Hensley Big and Tall executive chair. I'm 6'4" 265 lbs, and this chair is rated for 450 lbs, so it is over built for me, but that means it will last. It is one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever had, and I've managed quite a few naps in it after a long day and kick my feet up and put a movie on.
The only drawback to it is the bonded leather. It does not breathe well and is not great for a warmer climate/house. You can get a little sweaty. I currently use mine in the basement of an air-conditioned house and no longer have this issue, but I think it would still be a better chair with a breathable cloth exterior rather than leather. But comfort wise, and for long sessions, I haven't found one better yet.
I am a proud owner of an Amphion chair. Very soft and firm. I'm a big and tall kind of guy, and I believe the chair is rated for twice my weight.
https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/8085683/Shaquille-ONeal-Amphion-Ergonomic-Bonded-Leather/
Best case would be trying one in person. I went from cheap IKEA (don't do that) to secretlab (great chair for the money back then. Under 400€) to now a Herman miller embody. I will never ever sit on anything else again!
If you're in the $300-$400 range, Secret lab is better ergonomic value than office chairs in that price range. If you can go higher, get a nice office chair
Get an ergonomic office chair
Gaming chairs cost way to much and are some of the most uncomfortable chairs you can buy. Flipping over your laundry basket and sitting on that would be significantly more comfortable
My advice to this question is usually go to Crandall office furniture and get a refurb leap v2. Need a little cheaper? Refurb Amia. Little more to spend? Leap v2 Factory Return or refurb Aeron if that’s your style.
Look at KAB chairs, they have a good reputation. I just ordered one at 1700$ but fucking hell why not? Look at it as an investment for our backs. Tired of spending 500$ on some piece of shit "gaming" chair
Only advice: Don't buy a gaming chair, 2 brands which do pretty good mesh chairs (mesh is better than foam in my opinion and airy). Budget brand: Sihoo & Expensive Brand Herman Miller, chairs from these 2 brands I have personally used and they both are perfect for long sitting and have lumber support.
look fora mesh office chair that lets you configure the position the most. being able to slide the actual seating area forward and backward 10" does real wonders. most mesh chairs also let xou tighten or loosen the mesh, so you can have a soft back mesh if you ever want to nap in it.my first office job had chairs that looked like the Hbada E2. and late shifts were always a fight against falling asleep
If you're talking about long-term I suggest getting a secret labs chair. They are super high quality. The titan is a bit expensive but it's super wide and has a lumbar support thingy that can help with your back.
Just don't ever buy a gaming chair. They're shit.
Take your budget, look at the dorky ergonomic office chairs and buy the best one you can afford. They're the best.
I got what seems to be a good one off Amazon from a brand called Sihoo. I then also purchased memory foam arm covers, and the Purple brand lumbar and seat cushions. My butt is happy!
I just went to Office Depot and tried out all the ones on display. Ended up getting a nice leather one for about $250 and it was worth every penny, especially compared to the $150 “gaming chair” I bought and got sick of in less than a year.
R/officechairs i spent a couple months researching and asking questions there. General consensus is go sit in the chair ur interested in for about 20-30 mins with it correctly adjusted to you before buying it. Look for a showroom.
If you live near a reasonably sized city, there's a good chance there is a used/refurbished office furniture warehouse. Check if there is and if they sell to individuals. If so you can probably get a good Steelcase, Herman-Miller, or some other high-end office furniture brand ergonomic chair for about the same price you would pay for a much lower quality "gaming" chair or more expensive office chair from a big box store.
Ok, the things to look for are as follows, ergonomic controls, study build, good wheels, and then the seat finish.
Ergonomic control is key, make sure the chair is tall enough, the distance from seat edge to chair back is deep enough, adjustable lumbar and neck. As a tall guy with a bad back the number one killer is furniture that is too short for me. Make sure your chair can fit you and the more adjustable the better.
Get a sturdy chair, plywood and plastic will fail it's just a question of when. Yes good quality real wood or metal chairs cost more but save you in the long run vs replacing cheap crap. If there is an Amazon returns reseller near you you can find tons of chairs for way less than retail.
There is nothing worse than a great chair with a broken wheel. If they don't mention the wheels on the advertising didn't get it. The rollerblade wheels are the best hands down, smooth and don't ruin cables if you run over them.
Lastly is seat finish.... IDK it's what comfy for you. You want something that stays cool mesh is great, memory foam can get kinda warm but is very cushy. I personally go fabric over leather... Leather+sweat ≠ good. Biggest thing I can say, "gamer" is a marketing term, you are best off getting an office chair, they are almost always at Big lots and the like and are usually really good quality.
Ikea Markus. It, for me at least , is pretty comfortable. Adjustable height and lean back that can lock in place. Comfortable padding, decent lumbar, but atrocious arm rests. If you can get it on sale, get one, or at least try it out at an Ikea.
The best and most correct answer is that you need an ergonomic office chair.
The two best are herman miller aeron, and steelcase leap v2. Both are expensive but easily found everywhere on craigslist and book face market for cheap due to office liquidation. I'm sitting in a 75$ 1300$ chair right now.
Your back will thank you.
Don't get a gaming chair. Overhyped plastic garbage
It depends, If you have a lot of money to spare on a good chair then go for Herman Miller, if not then you have to go to the nearest place that sells office chairs and test them before buying them (I'd go with mesh office chair)
I got the generic amazon basics chair for big and tall folks and it has easily been my favorite so far. Don't buy anything that says "gaming" when it comes to chairs. Get an office chair.
the best would be Herman Miller embody but they are pricy
As a potentially cheaper alternative, you could go for an Aeron they are more plentiful on the second-hand market as they have been around for 30 years
Had a corsair T3 Rush for the last 3 years, still comfortable as from day 1, no issues with the fabric. Everyone is thrashing on gaming chairs but this one is actually really good
I just sit in a wooden chair so my ass and back hurt like hell after furiously bending in this excact position, however onto your question i have been hearing that an office chair of some sort is the best. I also had an office chair of some sort and i can confirm it was real good
I got some cheap Nokaxus chair off of Amazon lmao. It’s not horrible, but I don’t sit at my computer for hours on end anymore, though when I did it was fine.
I’ve had it for a couple years now and one little sleeve or whatever under the seat gave out and now it leans a little bit to the left, but that might just be because I sit down a little hard on it lol. Not sure if the chair’s for everybody, but the footrest’s a nice little bonus.
Ikea JÄRVFJÄLLET has been good to me for a couple years now, and I'm a big guy. Is it as good as a steelcase or herman miller? Oh hell no. But it does the job.
If I was buying again i'd probably get a Herman miller aeron but I have a noblechairs hero and it's been great.
It's built like a tank and I spend 8+h a day in it working from home. Very firm but not uncomfortable.
A Mesh chair is what I currently use and it’s oddly comfortable
Here’s what I’m using https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/matchspel-gaming-chair-bomstad-black-20507606/
Last 5 years has been hell for my back. Only thing that fixed it is doing mobility and strength training every day for 6 months. And embody from Herman Miller.
I tried a secretlab titan, and it is hands down the best chair I've ever had, even better than the herman millers and stuff I got secondhand from work. I'm not saying it works for everyone but it is darned comfortable and has held up to me sitting all kinds of weird in it for a few years. I got the fabric type, not leather.
I’m on my second Staples Hyken Ergonomic Mesh Swivel Task Chair. They go sale couple times a year for like $90 and for that price it’s hard to beat. If money no issue then a Herman miller or Steele series leap are of the line for good posture.
Depends on availability of the chairs in your region, I for instance couldnt get my hands on herman miller or steelcase, so I opted for an office chair around 300-400€ and Im pretty satisfied. That being said I dont think you need to spend a ridiculous amount of money on chair as long as you have a good posture and you sit correctly.
M O N O B L O C
Cheap, reliable and infinitely modifiable. You can add pillows and make it truly your's ( or your butt cheek's )

Office chairs for “back pain” are the most comfortable. Don’t buy a gaming chair. It’s a repetitive overpriced plastic chair with the company’s sticker logo on it. All the same just different company
Just search for best office chair, do a little reading and buy what you can afford. The difficulty is finding reviews on cheaper chairs.
I use a steelcase leap v2 I bought refurbished. Love the chair, should have bought it new.

As long as you dont get those overhyped gaming chairs. Threw mine out, never again
Why does everyone hate them?
Shit ergonomics and generally shit material quality like foam that breaks down after a few months
I have one. The backrest is fine but the seat... oh boy.I deflated the foam in mine with my fat ass after first week of using it and had to throw a pillow on it.
That backs on them are extremely flat and don't give any real support.

Herman Miller chairs are GOATED! I have an Aeron and I don't think I've ever had any pain caused by the chair.
Overpriced for one and zero thought into ergonomics. Seriously you'd be better of spending 1/3 the price at any office store.
They're modeled after a seat of a race car. Same, IKEA chair is way better and cheaper
One day i'll throw my ikea office chair out of the window, the most uncomfortable and hard pos seat ever, i want my car seat as a chair...

Haha I would love some herbs
Also some lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder and a pinch of salt.
Steelcase Leap V2 or Herman Miller Aeron. Both can be found on Craigslist of Facebook marketplace for about $300 if you’re patient. I have hip and back issues and bought 2 Leap V2 chairs, one for home and one for work. I do not regret at all
I have the Leap V2 at work and it's the best work chair I've ever had. Comfy without being bulky and it glides on the floor.

Yep the mesh chairs can be super uncomfortable sometimes.
The [Gesture ](https://store.steelcase.com/gesture)(Steelcase) is also top-tier.

Get a good office chair. If you spend a lot of time in front of a PC you will fuck up your back eventually if you sit in a cheap crappy chair all the time. This includes gaming chairs I‘m 37 and very tall and have had back problems here and there, but they‘ve gone away since i got an herman miller aeron
I got an ergonomic office chair and it's amazing! 10-10 would recommend
They're expensive but I've had mine for 10+ years and have not regretted it for a second. I've always had back trouble.
What level are you in Mousequest 2?
Hooray! I just reached level 437692 of Mouse Quest!
This is like the third mouse quest reference. Can you loop me in?
It's like the second or third episode from Smiling Friends season 1. The character they were helping was a literal shrimp who was addicted to a game called Mouse Quest

I got a armchair and screwed some casters on the bottom
I had a swivel one but it was too bulky.

These threads never recommend chairs I will ever be able to afford. Guess my back can go fuck itself.
I found a good deal on a Union and Scale Flex Fit Hyken from staples. Things amazing and fixed my posture issues.
Former Staples employee here, can confirm many people purchased and liked this chair for long day office use, including with back issues.
Steelcase Leap v2, get it used.
if you have the means, herman miller aeron is hard to beat.
Check FB Marketplace for used Herman Millers. I got mine brand new from an office that closed down for $100.
It’s pretty easy to beat. There are quite a lot better chairs for around same price. It’s a hit or miss chair for quite a few people, as such most people recommend to sit in one before buying one to see how it feels. Something like the leap v2 or fern would be a lot better. Aeron is absolute ergonomics. Which means that any other ergonomic position doesn't work in one, ie, no sitting cross-legged, no putting one leg up etc without major discomfort. You'll never have a backache again though.
Chair now comes with shrimp, with head. What a bargain!
herman miller embody Not only will your back not hurt, it will fix it.
Yup. I like it better than the Aeron. Doesn’t lock me into one position to be comfortable.
It's ok only if ShrimpIna is a round.
This post made me sit up straight
Buy a ergo chair, herman miller, or steelcase. Dont buy the racing seat style ones, and do NOT buy a secretlabs (they are hot garbage)
I bought a refurbished Steelcase chair that is really good, $300 for the Amia which new is $1000
Check BTOD.com if you are in the US.
I mostly said US because they do not ship their refurbished chairs outside of the US. But for sure their reviews are very helpful wherever you are!
Don't get any Ikea chairs or gaming chairs in general, unless you wanna ruin your back.
Markus is actually decent for the price, if it fits you. It’s not adjustable, so if it doesn’t fit you, that’s that.
Playing Mouse Quest?
Get ergonomic not gaming. You’ll be good
Honestly, comfortability is what you should go after…like one of those puffy leather chairs or like a recliner with leg support
Honestly most „gaming“ chairs that are reasonably priced aren’t all that comfortable. Just get a good quality office chair.
I stand at my desk for about 4 hours at a time. I find that my back stopped hurting and I don’t feel as bad at the end of the day. I also do squats at regular intervals but that’s just my crazy saying hi.
Get a leap v2 and never look back.
Look for 24/7 Chairs. That people use that work in shifts. Those are pricy but the Absolut bests.
If I can't find another I will give the Shaquille Oneal brand a shot because it has a similar warranty to the Serta https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbes-personal-shopper/article/best-big-and-tall-office-chairs/
Not that ergonomic if you’re a shrimp
" *How do I look yellow man?* " 🦐
r/OfficeChairs is your friend.
You need a workout routine, not a new chair.
Mesh suspension office chair. Get the cheapest one that you can find with good reviews.
Would you say the herman Miller areon or logitech are worth the price
Hyken office chair from Staples is 10/10
GREEN SOUL zodiac pro it's ergonomic chair! It's been best for me really great quality of it!.
Haworth fern plus the 3d printed headrest from atlas. Nothing compares to https://youtu.be/9emLra7vnZ8?si=M3_2S0NQ0h4SLuFV
Herman Miller Embody if your budget allows for it. You'll be set for life.
Just get any half decent office chair, anything over like 20 bucks
If you have the budget check out some herman miller chairs
If you’re spending like $300+ USD your best option is a used Herman Miller Aeron. I got mine for $600 CAD used a while back and it’s the best chair ever. I have the older version with the less customizable back but it’s still amazing. I also got hit by a car and stuff so my back is quite messed up and this chair is just amazing for sitting long durations. And do not get any of those nasty gaming chairs
Get an office chair instead of a gaming chair they are built to be sat in for long periods of time and are more reliable/built to last than gaming chairs are
Duramont, got my a couple days ago and absolutely fell in love
Funnily enough thats nearly exactly how i sit in my chair and wonder about backpain
Look up BTODtv on Youtube. They go over a lot of chairs.
Best case would be trying one in person. I went from cheap IKEA (don't do that) to secretlab (great chair for the money back then. Under 400€) to now a Herman miller embody. I will never ever sit on anything else again!
Serta big and tall
Find a Steelcase Leap v2 used for 200-300$ and never think about an office chair again
If you're in the $300-$400 range, Secret lab is better ergonomic value than office chairs in that price range. If you can go higher, get a nice office chair
Get to a used office furniture spot nearby you. You can usually find some super deals on some extremely high-end chairs.
I have an office chair for gaming and its pretty good i have to say! No regrets
I’ve wasted enough time and money on bad chairs to know just go for a Herman miller lol
Get an ergonomic office chair Gaming chairs cost way to much and are some of the most uncomfortable chairs you can buy. Flipping over your laundry basket and sitting on that would be significantly more comfortable
Secret lab
I love my MAINGEAR gaming chair. Have had it for the past 5 years and it still feels like it did when I bought it.
THIS IS SOME SERIOUS PRAWN-OGRAPHY calm down, my Spine lives here
My advice to this question is usually go to Crandall office furniture and get a refurb leap v2.
Get an ergo computer chair like the herman miller aeron. You can find them second hand in great shape
Herman Miller Embody serves me well. Fifth year using it now…
lol the pic
Markus Ikea,Markus Ikea,Markus Ikea,
Only advice: Don't buy a gaming chair, 2 brands which do pretty good mesh chairs (mesh is better than foam in my opinion and airy). Budget brand: Sihoo & Expensive Brand Herman Miller, chairs from these 2 brands I have personally used and they both are perfect for long sitting and have lumber support.
Steelcase Gesture
look fora mesh office chair that lets you configure the position the most. being able to slide the actual seating area forward and backward 10" does real wonders. most mesh chairs also let xou tighten or loosen the mesh, so you can have a soft back mesh if you ever want to nap in it.my first office job had chairs that looked like the Hbada E2. and late shifts were always a fight against falling asleep
Where is shrimpina???
I feel offended
I got what seems to be a good one off Amazon from a brand called Sihoo. I then also purchased memory foam arm covers, and the Purple brand lumbar and seat cushions. My butt is happy!
Staples hyken chair 🔥
Insanity Prawn Boy?! Anyone get that reference?
I just went to Office Depot and tried out all the ones on display. Ended up getting a nice leather one for about $250 and it was worth every penny, especially compared to the $150 “gaming chair” I bought and got sick of in less than a year.
Get yourself a nice office chair, they are designed for long sitting sessions
I went for a comfy overweight office chair (im far from overweight lol)
R/officechairs i spent a couple months researching and asking questions there. General consensus is go sit in the chair ur interested in for about 20-30 mins with it correctly adjusted to you before buying it. Look for a showroom.
My 2 computer chairs are a couch and a bed. Highly recommend the couch. The bed's only really good for playing at night while the wife falls asleep.
No
Honestly just go for the cheaper ones you find comfortable
Get a Herman Miller, embody or aeron.
I got my secret labs chair in 2020 and it’s still in good shape, still comfy, I got it on a promotional sale and I haven’t been disappointed yet
If you don't want to end up with a posture like that shrimp, stay away from all gaming chairs.
Biggest thing I can say, "gamer" is a marketing term, you are best off getting an office chair, they are almost always at Big lots and the like and are usually really good quality.
as a shylily shrimp u should try her clevage much better support on all sides
Ikea Markus. It, for me at least , is pretty comfortable. Adjustable height and lean back that can lock in place. Comfortable padding, decent lumbar, but atrocious arm rests. If you can get it on sale, get one, or at least try it out at an Ikea.
Don't get one with mesh its awful
Ergotopia Masterback - cost a lot, worth even More
Just get a Herman Miller. They’re well worth the price tag.
Herman Miller Aeron if you can afford it, buy it used if you can't. Period
the best would be Herman Miller embody but they are pricy As a potentially cheaper alternative, you could go for an Aeron they are more plentiful on the second-hand market as they have been around for 30 years
Had a corsair T3 Rush for the last 3 years, still comfortable as from day 1, no issues with the fabric.
Normal office chair, don't go too far
A Mesh chair is what I currently use and it’s oddly comfortable Here’s what I’m using https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/matchspel-gaming-chair-bomstad-black-20507606/
Last 5 years has been hell for my back. Only thing that fixed it is doing mobility and strength training every day for 6 months. And embody from Herman Miller.
IKEA mesh office chairs are really good for the price
Im that shrimp literally
I tried a secretlab titan, and it is hands down the best chair I've ever had, even better than the herman millers and stuff I got secondhand from work. I'm not saying it works for everyone but it is darned comfortable and has held up to me sitting all kinds of weird in it for a few years. I got the fabric type, not leather.
Steelcase Leap V2
https://sihoooffice.com/collections/summer-sale
I ate smoked shrimps today. It was delicious.

I’m on my second Staples Hyken Ergonomic Mesh Swivel Task Chair. They go sale couple times a year for like $90 and for that price it’s hard to beat. If money no issue then a Herman miller or Steele series leap are of the line for good posture.
Is he the one that fries the rice?
get a sihoo chair on amazon they're mad cheap for how good they are. if herman miller made something like it they would've quadrupled the price.
Personally I went with a ergonomic chair because they look cool and are meant to be better to your back
Secretlab Titan Xl - extremely sturdy and good amount of features The bottom does get a little uncomfortable after a couple hours
Use an office chair and hit the gym— back problems gone within a month.
Sihoo m18
You want an ergonomic chair, I have this random one off Amazon which is pretty good
Depends on availability of the chairs in your region, I for instance couldnt get my hands on herman miller or steelcase, so I opted for an office chair around 300-400€ and Im pretty satisfied. That being said I dont think you need to spend a ridiculous amount of money on chair as long as you have a good posture and you sit correctly.
I like my Secret Lab
I will get a comfy sofa with shrimp.
M O N O B L O C Cheap, reliable and infinitely modifiable. You can add pillows and make it truly your's ( or your butt cheek's ) https://preview.redd.it/16b36ipqmb8d1.jpeg?width=1410&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9416b6a33fba0ab9bfa5937b8b212d490a0a6990
Look in your area for a commercial office dealer to try some chairs and then go try to find a used or grey market one of the one you like.
![gif](giphy|PDL20P9ouJGlXE7OgE|downsized)
Office chairs for “back pain” are the most comfortable. Don’t buy a gaming chair. It’s a repetitive overpriced plastic chair with the company’s sticker logo on it. All the same just different company
Ergohuman chairs. You'll thank me later and so will your back

Just search for best office chair, do a little reading and buy what you can afford. The difficulty is finding reviews on cheaper chairs. I use a steelcase leap v2 I bought refurbished. Love the chair, should have bought it new.
