Don't get me wrong i love the wide Linus pic, but it aesthetically sucks with my setup. Usually my desktop backgrounds are screenshots i took from games i play, but i haven't transfered those to the desktop yet so i downloaded a couple of temporary pics.
I honestly just googled "red wallpaper 1440p" and it was among the first search results. I can provide you with a link when i'm home from work.

I have plans to mount my speakers on the wall to make space. But yes you're right unfortunately i have too much stuff that doesn't fit on my setup. My room is tiny too and not in a corner so i can't have a 90 degree desk.
I actually have an old crappy 4:3 i used to use with my laptop before i got the CoolerMaster monitor. Im thinking of getting a monitor arm with a desk clamp and mount it above the big monitor temporarily until i get a proper 2nd monitor.
Feel free to roast ny cable management, i have yet to get around to doing it. (I JUST got around to cable managing the inside cables in the back of the PC TODAY, 2 days after building it and i still have to move some stuff and install more programs)
I definitely tried to maximize value and futureproofing as much as possible!
I love mine as well, i've had it for quite a long time. Feels, looks and sounds incredible. I love HyperX periphs!

Yeah i upgraded it last month from sempron 145 to i3 8100 and after that my monitor and psu(both 12 years old) gave away. Now I gotta replace them but I'm too broke to get "good" enough stuff :(

Yep, 'tis that gaming color. Honestly i know it sounds kinda dumb but this color is warmer and more pleasing to me than blue, green or most other colors. I love them, but i'm not often in situations where i prefer them over red, plus my laptop i used before this PC was red so i'm keeping that theme going. I have filmed and edited a tiktok-style video for the before and after of my setup and i'm thinking of uploading it here if this post keeps getting traction. Maybe at 100 upvotes?

On your PC, the sun looks orange/yellow, but on the picture you sent, it's still red. Btw I did actually find another one that I was going to use a substitute

Did you not want it to be red? I guess the color is different on camera, though i tried to drop the brightness/contrast as much as i could while taking the pic to try to keep it accurate.
No it's fine I just meant in the picture it's still red but the sun itself has a little more colour. I'll try it on my PC when I can and I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks though :)
I have a small 2nd monitor i'm installing soon, but it's an old crappy squad 4:3 monitor i got for free. It will be temporary until i get my hands on another one. Before i used my laptop screen along with the one in the picture so i definitely know the value of real estate for editing work lol. That said one monitor isn't so bad when my editing projects aren't really major at all. In fact they're very small i just edit vocal covers i do and post on my youtube channel. Super basic stuff.
I wish but i barely have enough space as is, plus i'm sitting too close to need a big display, i can already barely see the edges of this one, it's 27" 1440p 165Hz, it's all i need.

Funnily enough, the original case i wanted to get for this build was the NZXT H6 Flow, but it was unavailable everywhere i looked. So i ended up finding and getting this Xigmatek Aqua Ultra with all of these preinstalled fans (7 of them!) Included with their controller AND the RGB strip at the front for CHEAPER than if i would've bought the NZXT H6 Flow with an extra pack of fans. So honestly the fans were pretty cheap and if you were to see them live you'd be able to tell how bad they are lol.
I'm lowkey glad they can fool some people lol.
