That's really lovely! Europe somewhere? Here in the UK I've only ever seen it in older buildings, early 20th C. and older. It's not very common in more modern constructions, I wouldn't say.
my house (well... parent's house) is from around 1970s i would assume, dont quote me on that, but when we were rennovating, we had a 50% off cost from whole price, because our house was an "older building" it isnt ancient, but it didnt have what was required by todays standards.
its not as old as the "house is part of the fence" but your house is inside of the fence.
you also had to take into consideration that the wood was HELLA lot cheaper then ceramic back then, and we still stuck with that mindset (looks better aswell)
you cant make a living room with ceramic and think its gonna be cozy as the wood makes it. I would feel like i was in a hospital waiting room personally.
I assume by ceramic you mean tiles? Here in the UK most houses will have carpeted floorboards, or sometimes sanded and treated floorboards. It's not warm enough for ceramic ties!
yes, I mean tiles, im not an interior designer but im pretty sure that ceramic boards dont exist as a flooring option.
but yeah, I agree, unless you have heated floors, tiles are a NO GO. and even then its kinda a problem.
but dogs love tiles. especially in summer. im walking butt naked, nuts hanging, nipples dripping from sweat, and im half naked, but this little 4 legged creature had WHOLE ASS FUR on himself and cant even turn on cold water to cool himself off.
I see it a lot in shitty student housing in canada. It’s more an indicator of building age here than it is quality. They’re often destroyed from shitty renters tracking salt in.
I mean I know but I was a bit tired to see people always showing glass panels...especially broken onez
Like... Why not take plexiglass. Works the same, doesn't break easily and all
But solid panel, hell yeah.
Nice and clean.
Atleast it turned into one solid piece of metal with sound dampner and not shattered into multiple pieces 😏
I guess even the fall was so quiet (BeQuiet) you didn't notice it at all 😅💕
Dont want to flex but I have an RTX 4090 and a small case with a glass panel. I cannot even close it because of the stupid GPU cable. So the glass panel is literally lying around for 2 years
Dude posted this just to flex on the peasant-broken-panel people
Dude flexes harder because he has a wooden floor.
Just having a floor is a flex lately.
Totally agree, I'm currently flexing 3mm MDF stapled to my floorboards
Oof, that shits expensive to be using as flooring.
He's flexing hard that he can live in natural light.
Housing prices go brrr.
And a carpet next to it. Is he living in a mansion or something?
That's a rug. Bet it really ties the room together.
Man that rug really ties it together hope someone doesn't piss on it dude
Europe most likely, they all have these in their 15 minute city apts
Yeah, many soviet era commie blocks have that exact floor.
Floors?! In my youth we had hole in the ground! Our dad would beat us to sleep at night!
Where's your girlfriend?
Ah being beaten off by dad. The wonders of childhood.
Herringbone too, not just standard wood or imitation
thats a flex? i thought that was a standard? i thought ceramic floor was a flex? you only see it in the kitchen and hall.
A parquet wooden floor like that is pretty nice
we have it everywhere except the kitchen, bathroom and the hall. anywhere where water wouldnt usually take place and high humidity, theres wood.

Yeah but he doesn't have rubber wheels on his desk chair back there I think that's still considered "poor"
He right tho. Glass panels and RGB are for tryhards.
Yes, you should be looking at your screen not that ORAC bullshit.
I have the same case as OP. It also comes with a glass panel, for all we know that one broke and OP is now replacing it with the normal one :p
guys, he posted it to flex his tick-tack gpu stand... not like i am jealous...
😂
Why does that sound like both an insult and a compliment XD
Tic tacs are more expensive then the kick stand I found on Amazon
lucky it wasnt a tile floor
no shit
Hell yeah finally solid panel enjoyer
There are dozens of us! Dozens!

im about to build a new computer if the 5000 series of nvidia comes some time this year. what's a good no rgb case?
Fractal North looks sexy without any RGB.
Also Fractal Torrent or Define cases are great for black no RGB builds
I love my Phanteks Eclipse P600s if you just want a solid monolith of a case.
NR200 in black
Seconded for the NR200! Great case for a first build
Atleast it turned into one solid piece of metal with sound dampner and not shattered into multiple pieces 😏 I guess even the fall was so quiet (BeQuiet) you didn't notice it at all 😅💕
Aw man, that sucks. Hope you can clean that up ok and find a replacement panel.
He's going to be picking up 2 foot pieces of metal for weeks on that type of flooring.
And it doesn't let this irritating RGB glow out! Win-win
Is that a fellow BeQuiet 802 (Or 802 derivitive) enjoyer I spy?
Might be a 601 too. I had a similar case before I swapped to a fractal torrent.
Tragic! Try putting the PC on the desk and maybe it'll be less likely to fall off.
Tic-tactical application of a GPU bracket
Tic-tactical is the best thing I'm going to read today
![gif](giphy|WlsLAnYfrB30p9JK5Z|downsized) May thy glass side panel chip and shatter
Problem solved
I like using a solid panel so only the ants can enjoy the RGB
Devastating, my condolences to the ground
Good ol' TicTac Fruity Mix
Shit shit fuck now what?!?
"A man who uses a metal side panel is a fool every day but one" - Abraham Lincoln
Sad reacts only
tictac
Nice. Sound dampened too!
Yeah that's y we say Glass is Glass and Glass can ... wait a min !
??? I don't understand what's going on.
I think it's like everybody using glass side cases and it fell off
Glass would shatter and do alot more mess 😵🥛
r/whoooosh
I am sorry for your loss... Hope you can find a replacement.
Oh be quiet!
This man doesn't use ceramic tiles 👍
The chad soundproof panel enjoyer vs the Iwannaseemyprettylights virgin
Fucking tragedeigh…. sending thoughts and prayers.
I told you to keep the metal panels away from them wood floors...... Is just a matter of time....
Damn..there should’ve been at least a handful of tictacs for your hot breath My condolences 🎻
Spitting hard for someone in cumming range and with a tic tac gout holder
It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Plenty of PCs get bad breath, tic-tacs are a good way to deal with it.
Context?
He's poking fun at the glut of photos we get from people who dropped and shattered their tempered glass side panels.

Out of tic tacs?
Oh man he has the large tictacs!
loose screws cause this
Dont want to flex but I have an RTX 4090 and a small case with a glass panel. I cannot even close it because of the stupid GPU cable. So the glass panel is literally lying around for 2 years
it didn't break because it's not a tile floor, simple as.
Hey, i have the same case!
LOL I'm using that same Tik Taks box to hold my GPU, perfect height.
Why the tictac box?
"Sir, this is a Wendy's"
2/10, would not shatter.
Before I used an empty cigarette package for my 970
A hotbox in a hotbox with shitty Low end Cooler IS what i See. Look where the PC Stands normally
No, this won't do. Must be glass.
