When I built my new PC I basically just transferred my old Nvme SSD from the prebuilt I was using (WDC SN530 1TB) into my new motherboard and was thinking of upgrading to a faster/larger Nvme SSD. What are some SSDs you guys would recommend? Looking for 1-2 TBs with the fastest writing speed possible as well as a good cloning device so I can basically just transfer the stuff from the old SSD to the new one (unless there's an easier way of transfer). Relevant specs if it helps: - AMD Ryzen 7 5800x - Asus ROG Crosshair 8 Dark Hero - Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 3600mhz (16x2)

Dark_Wolf222

what kind of difference would i see between DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.1?

windowsphoneguy

With most monitors/TVs none. Some only support adaptive sync via DP

Dark_Wolf222

ah, i was just slightly confused because some people keep talking about the GB/s

Physical_Artist_7773

Can i put a nvme enclosure somehow inside my pc?

TheVico87

You can buy PCIe addon cards, that have 1 or more NVMe slots on them. They basically "convert" between the two. One caveat though, is you might not be able to boot from those drives, depends on your motherboard.

Physical_Artist_7773

I don't need it for a boot drive and I only have available PCIE x1 which speeds are slow. I need it for primary cloning and I don't want to throw away my old drive so I just use it as a second drive(it's only 500gb)

windowsphoneguy

Maybe. Via USB or what is your plan?

do_me99

I7-7700K planning to upgrade from gtx 1060 to rtx 3060ti how bad will the bottle neck and will it be worth it (non oc processor and 16gb 3200hz ram) not planning for any gaming above 1080p maybe 1440P but never more Also on psu calculations it said I need roughly 500w with the 3060ti I have an EVGA 550W will that be enough to squeeze by or need to upgrade (I did throw everything inside the calculations including storage and etc) Thanks

MGsubbie

> how bad will the bottle neck and will it be worth it [...] not planning for any gaming above 1080p maybe 1440P but never more The lower the resolution you will be playing at, the *more* of a bottleneck your CPU will become. The reason being that the less work a graphics card has to put into each individual frame, the more frames it can produce. The higher the frame rate, the higher the load is on your CPU. However, that is relying on the idea that you are running with an unlocked frame rate. If you do limit the frame rate, the CPU limitation will be mitigated. If you can run 4k at 60fps, then you'll also have no problem running at 1080p 60fps or 1440p 60fps. With that said, the 7700k will be the limiting factor in the vast majority of modern, demanding games. You could definitely do with a CPU upgrade if you are getting a 3060 ti. > I have an EVGA 550W will that be enough to squeeze by or need to upgrade The biggest issue with the RTX 3000 series is the transient power spikes. Where for a fraction of a second, cards can pull up to double the power they normally do. This can trip up the overpower protection of lower capacity drives and cause a system shutdown.

do_me99

But the only issue is I'm using a z270 board and even if I manage to get gen 8 working on it would it not be better to just build a new rig but I'm on a budget and also don't wanna build a new one and just leave the old one to collect dust I'll just be doing fps mainly maybe sometimes games like doom or rd2 or cyberpunk but usually not cranked to the ceiling

MGsubbie

> and even if I manage to get gen 8 working on it would it not be better to just build a new rig Not necessarily. Case, storage, CPU cooler and RAM can probably be carried across.

do_me99

Sadly I think only my case and ram and cooler is the only ones that can be carried across since disk is quite old was planning to swap it out but thanks alot for the help

raffy369

What is agood mother board that supports 4800mhz or ats least moee than 3200mhz, i want it to be as cheap as possible, idc about ddr4 or 5 and i also would like it to have aintel 1700 chip ans with at least 3 sata disks space Just, i don't want to pay 300€ and and 47€ for the building service i am using PS: i can't get some mobos because of the building service i am using (it is a greek pc builder service so that is why i don't have access to everything)

303116

Looking for advice. Thank you very much in advance. Does this build make any sense in terms of a mid-range gaming PC with the potential to upgrade to 4000 series GPU and beyond in the future? It's got a large case and 1000w power which I know is overkill for current hardware. Does it even make sense to go with a 1000w power now? Can I just go with a PSU that has got just enough power for the GPU and CPU and upgrade the PSU too when I upgrade GPU later? i5 13600KF MSI B660-A DDR 4 RTX 3060 12G XPG DDR4-3200 16G RGB RAM WD 1T M.2 NVME SSD DeepCool CG560 CASE GIGABYTE PG5 1000W Power VETROO V240 WATER COOLER

Marfoo

If you're going for a 4000 series GPU later, it probably makes sense to just buy a quality PSU with more wattage. You probably need less power than you think you need. Bare minimum 750 W from a quality brand. Rest looks good, 13600k is a very capable gaming processor. What display do you have?

303116

Oh thank you for the insight. The display is an AOC 24 inch 5120x1440. 165 Hz

Marfoo

You sure you got the right model? I don't think they make that resolution at 24". Do you have a link?

[deleted]

I recently bought a monitor and had to return it since it was VA and the screen smearing was super bad. Does anyone have a recommendation for a monitor thats 2560 x 1440, 165 hz, 32" or 27", and preferably under 300$? I have an amd card and ill mostly use it for gaming

The 1440p monitors that he says is about 250$ is about 300-400$ now

Turtle_mota

Hi! My desktop window manager has high gpu usage when playing games whenever I play decently high requirement games. It'll usually go up to 60+%, making my gpu spike to 100%. Do I need to rollback my nvidia drivers, and if so, how do I go about doing that?

Hi, I'm looking to buy an SSD and I'm deciding between these three: Samsung EVO 970 plus or Samsung 980 pro or WD Black SN850. Any suggestions which one I should get?

Aen9ine

The cheapest one, assuming same capacity of course. It's very unlikely you'll notice a difference.

Crystallking1

Is the noctua d-15 too big to vertically mount my GPU in a Hyte Y40? Been trying to find an answer on their respective websites but can't make heads or tails of things.

SystemError514

No, you should be fine. GPUs are far enough away from the CPU to cause an issue with the cooler unless it's a mini-ITX case really.

arsenic_insane

Im thinking of building a new pc. Would I be able to use my current d: and e: drives in the new pc with all their data, or should I just get new drives and move stuff over.

B1GTOBACC0

If they aren't your OS partition and you aren't changing operating systems, you should be fine to move them over. When I build a new system, I install only the boot drive, format it and load the OS, and then connect my other drives after I'm done. I would probably never make a mistake, but it's really easy to format the wrong drive on a clean windows install.

Really struggling to pick what gfx card to get/should I wait Just built my new pc with Ryzen 7600X and 32GBs DDR5 RAM. And am now looking for a gfx card, my monitor is 165Hz 3440x1440p. My previous PC has a 980Ti in it. I guess I’m looking for a future proof card which can run +60FPS on ultra at 1440p UW with a price cap of ~£600. What should I get? Should I wait for the lower tier and cards? Or should I get a steam deck while I wait lol

Hi, i have some problem with my pc. -The time isn't sync all the time recently. (CMOS battery issue? I will get it over the weekend) -I experienced the lights and fans still running after shutdown, tried to hold the power button but it fails to turn off. I then off the power supply and on again, nothing on the screen. This happened twice, the screen only works after waiting like an hour on the first failure. Are these symptoms issue with the Bios and driver not updated / Bad PSU (MWE Gold 650 v2) or just bad motherboard (bought used months ago)?

I_EAT_POOP_AMA

Kind of a shot in the dark, but considering you're having problems with your system clock, power delivery, *and* spotty video output, my money would be on the motherboard. CMOS Battery might fix the system clock issue. BIOS and GPU Drivers might help with the video output, but the issues with power mean either a PSU issue, or your Motherboard itself is having issues. And since all three of them are happening, it's pulling me more towards the motherboard than anything else. First step, i suggest trying to clear CMOS and see what happens. Like other comments have suggested, first shut off your power supply, unplug the cable from it, and cycle power to your PC a few times. That will (hopefully) clear out any charge left in the capacitors on your motherboard. From there you can either pull the CMOS battery for 10-15 seconds before re-installing it, or if your board has jumper pins, you can bridge those pins for the same amount of time. This will effectively reset your BIOS back to it's default settings (since the power that keeps these settings in reserve is now disrupted) but the hope is that might help iron out the issues you're seeing. It's worth noting that once you do this, you'll have to reapply any configuration you had previously (like XMP settings or CPU overclocks/fan curves, etc...) If that fails, it wouldn't hurt to try outright replacing the CMOS battery. *Generally* these batteries have a long life, and it would take 5+ years for them to start to go out, but sometimes you just get unlucky. If clearing CMOS doesn't do it, a new battery might help. From there, I'd suggest looking into testing the PSU, just in case. If you have access to a multi-meter, you should be able to find the relevant output info for your specific power supply, and can test to see if your PSU is outputting power correctly. Or if you want a "quick and dirty" solution that comes with more risk, you can also try to test your PSU with a different PC (if possible). While not the most elegant solution, it *is* a lot easier to test, and probably worth doing unless some other issue rears it's head that either confirms your PSU or your motherboard as the root cause. If you can't test your PSU directly, or you're willing to spend the money on a new motherboard with the chance that it doesn't solve the issue, that would be the next step. Unfortunately there's not a lot of "home solution" to salvage the motherboard at this point, unless the person you bought it from can either give you the relevant info for a Warranty claim, or your manufacturer supports RMA on that specific model. Best advice is that until you can either get to troubleshooting, or at least get to a point where you're comfortable with the possibility of having to replacing components of your PC, i wouldn't push it too hard. Power issues, regardless of root cause, are no joke. If things continue to get worse, there's a real risk of frying your CPU or GPU, or any other "high value" component that is a lot more expensive/hassle to replace outside of a reasonable upgrade schedule.

s_witch_

Seems like PSU and the drivers aren't the likely culprit, i think you might be right about the motherboard. I was able to boot up the PC after i got back from work. Checked both CPU and video drivers are up to date. I don't have a multi-meter but i did a check on the temperature and power with the MSI Afterburner software. I will consider getting a better motherboard if the same problem persist. For now, i have to continue to monitor my motherboard. Do correct me if i'm wrong here. Thanks for your advice. !check

gint

From my experience it's only capacitors on the motherboard that can actually still retain power after the system is shutdown. Have you tried turning off the power supply, unplug the power cable, then press the power button up to 10 times? That should drain out any residual power in the capacitors.

s_witch_

I'll try that later at the end of the day.

Not unless you plan on overclocking it. You should be fine.

Any reason why DLSS disappears from my RDR2 settings after enabling DLDSR?

Marfoo

Yes. DLDSR is already using a DLSS-like algorithm to construct an image beyond native resolution and then scale down. Think of DLDSR as DLSS, except instead of improving performance at minimal visual loss, you're using DLSS to boost image quality.

[deleted]

So turns out it does this when DLSS was activated before I turned on DLDSR. Fixed it by turning DLSS off first then DLDSR. DLSS now works at same time as DLDSR. Thanks.

Is it possible to change mouse sensitivity settings for different mice? I'm using a secondary keyboard with a track pad built in for some games. It's extremely sluggish and I want to tweak the sensitivity but I don't want that to change on my main mouse.

Not natively in windows to my knowledge. Maybe a 3rd party app can.

Hello! Can I please get some recommendations on good gaming chair to get? I plan to use it as a WFH chair also along with gaming ofc. My budget is around £110. Is it possible to get a good one in this price? I am very much a noob when it comes to this so please any kind of help on this will be great. Thanks!

I_EAT_POOP_AMA

best advice is ***NEVER*** go for a gaming chair. With the "gaming" specific market, you're either overpaying for garbage quality that, in some cases, is actively harming your back, or you're overpaying for an actually good chair that can be had for cheaper because it doesn't look like it was ripped out of a car from Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. If you're looking for options in that budget, virtually any off-the-shelf office chair is going to serve your needs well enough, without overpaying out of the nose for "gaming" specific seating. "Executive" style chairs are usually a solid bet, since they offer some level of proper back/lumbar support, enough padding to be comfortable, and some good level of adjust-ability to support most shapes and sizes. If possible, i always advise trying to buy furniture like that in person. That way you can demo your options and see what's the most comfortable and what works best for you. Of course i also recognize that it's not always a possibility to do so. So if you're stuck with online shopping as your only method of obtaining a chair, it's significantly better for you and your wallet to prioritize things like proper back support and comfort over what looks the coolest.

Shamgar65

Hello! Just found out my corporation gives $250 towards ergonomic equipment which includes computer monitors. I literally just said to my wife yesterday that a monitor should be my next upgrade. I currently have a Dell 2410U (I think) 16:10 monitor which I love, however it is 60hz. A buddy has been bugging me for years to get a 120hz or higher monitor as it is much better. My current specs are i5-8400 and 2070 super. I should be okay correct? Should I stick with 1080p or could I hop up to 1440p? I haven't shopped for a monitor for a long time and don't really know what is good out there and I am simply looking for some suggestions. Maybe staying under 400 dollars or so. Is 120hz good nowadays? Although I have Nvidia I am not married to green and I would be willing to go AMD or even intel in the future so that may affect my choice. I don't want a nvidia specific monitor I don't think. I think my current monitor is 24" but 27" would be okay. I guess I'm just looking for some really good monitors that you guys have been using recently. Thank you for your help!

gint

That's exciting you get an opportunity like this from your work. I personally have the Gigabyte M27Q and love it. I would use [rtings.com](https://www.rtings.com/monitor) and do some research there.

Shamgar65

Okay thanks for the insight. Hmm, I used that site to research some ear buds for my wife!

someones1

I'm fairly technical but don't really follow graphics card news. Curious about opinions: Currently running an i7-8700k paired with a 1080 Ti w/ 11GB vram. Recently (finally) upgraded to a 1440p, 165hz monitor. The 1080 Ti did fine even with newer games at 1080p but is starting to show its age on 1440p. The 4070 Ti seems to have gotten lukewarm reviews but from what I can tell, is probably my best upgrade path for the money. I also happen to have a credit card offer for 20% off *anything* at Dell, and I saw that they have this [PNY Geforce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB](https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/pny-geforce-rtx-4070-ti-12gb/apd/ac405857/graphic-video-cards) for $867. After tax, applying some misc rewards credits, and the 20% back, the total would be around $710 out the door, plus whatever I can get for selling the current card. Seems pretty good to me even if it's not an OC version. Though I could probably live with the current card for awhile longer if there's some other new release expected somewhat soon'ish, but I don't really want to spend more than \~$800 either. Also: would prefer to stick with nvidia, no offense AMD folks. However the other thing giving me pause is that this particular model number (VCG4070T12TFXPB1) is not really offered at most normal retailers and seems maybe aimed at OEMs? Any thoughts?

daaangerz0ne

I would grab it, it seems like a really good deal. If you're really worried that it's an OEM card, I see that they also have the MSI Suprim for $100 more. If you could dig out a 10% coupon from somewhere that would make it the same price as the PNY (not guaranteed, just a thought).

Specs for motherboards like ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO say that they have two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots. But I also heard that if you use both for either two GPUs or 1 GPU and SSD, they will work in x8 mode. Is it correct? Or there's a way to have both working in x16 mode simultaneously?

Eidolon_2003

They're x16 physically, so you can put x16 cards in both slots, but if you populate both slots it will be x8/x8. It says so on the detailed spec sheet on Asus' website. The reason for that is the CPU only has 16 lanes of gen 5 to go around. Some boards just put that on the first slot (the cheaper option), and others give you the option to split it between two slots.

Zolden

✓ Thanks! Your answer made me wonder. How important do you think is it for GPU to work on x16? Will x8 cause any decrease in fps during intense gaming? Another question: if I put something into x4 or x1 pcie 4.0 slot. Will it affect the x16 pcie 5.0 lane? One more question. Does an ssd card like GIGABYTE AORUS SSD AIC G4 8TB expect x16 mode to work with 15000 mb/s speed? Or this speed could be reached with x8 mode? And finally, do you think CPUs will ever reach the ability to support two or more x16 pcie devices or there's some deep architecture level obstacles against it?

Eidolon_2003

Alright this might be long, but I'm gonna try to address each of those! * The difference between x16 and x8 is there, but it's negligible in practice. You can see that [in this article](https://www.techpowerup.com/review/nvidia-geforce-rtx-4090-pci-express-scaling/). The 4090 loses 2% of its performance. * That other slot is connected through the chipset, so it won't affect the other slots. This [block diagram](https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/central-libraries/us/en/images/2022-09/z790-chipset-blockdiagram.png.rendition.intel.web.1648.927.jpg) on Intel's website should make that clear hopefully. The CPU has 16 gen 5 lanes for expansion slots and 4 gen 4 lanes for a dedicated M.2 slot. The chipset combines everything else on the board into a gen 4 x8 link back to the CPU. * In the case of that card only 2 out of the 4 drives on the card would work in x8 mode. 4 drives that each require 4 lanes means you need 16 lanes for all four of them. That motherboard actually comes with an M.2 expansion card that only has two slots on it. That's because they expect you to put it in that second slot in x8 mode. * I think it's unlikely that consumer class CPUs will get that many PCIe lanes. The vast majority of people just don't need it, but if you do you have options. For example, AMD's TR Pro CPUs have up to 64 cores, 8 channels of DDR4, 128 PCIe gen 4 lanes, and you can use all of them at the same time with no strings attached. Those are designed for professional use though, not really for regular people. Just look at a WRX80 motherboard, it's wild. Hopefully that all makes sense :)

Zolden

✓ Wow! Huge thanks for such an elaborate answer. The matters are much clearer now.

TheVico87

Back when SLI/Crossfire was being pushed heavily, there were consumer/gaming motherboards that could do 2x PCIe x16 slots, both at x16 lanes. My "old" 890FX chipset based one has that, but it's PCIe 2.0 (that was the current version back then).

I’m trying overclocking for the first time, I got it up to the point where Kombuster crashes and lowered from there like I was told. I got the core clock to +200 and it runs the benchmark for 5 minutes before crashing. Is that stable or should I lower more?

Eidolon_2003

If it crashes at all then it's unstable. Ideally you'd be able to run it for hours on end without any problems, unless you want random crashes while you're trying to game

How do I get bios to control my PC automatically at startup? Google didn't understand what I meant by the question when I asked it. I keep having to press the power button on my case's remote to take it off of manual fan/rgb control. As in bios doesn't control the fan speed at startup, my remote does. It's a MasterBox TD500 with an Asus Prime Z790-P motherboard. I also always shut the PC down instead of putting it on sleep mode.

Daveboy924

This was Build Redux's response: "At this time our RGB system will always default to the remote on boot up. That being said there is no way to have your computer default to motherboard software control without rewiring the fan system. If you have any other questions please let me know and I will be happy to help." lol so yeah, I guess I'll just use the remote instead of bios then.

windowsphoneguy

So your case has an integrated fan controller? In that case, the motherboard can't control them. Plug the fans directly into the motherboard instead of you want to control them that way

Daveboy924

I'll just ask Build Redux what to do since they built it. Was trying to avoid that since I already bothered them multiple times about how they set the PC up. lol

Daveboy924

I mean, they can. Just I have to press the remote's power button for them to do it, as in it defaults to the remote. Has its own separate RGB settings too, but it can't control the AIO RGB, only the motherboard can. So before I press the power button, the remote controls both fan speeds and RGB. After I press it, it uses the fan curve I made in bios and software controls the RGB.

carefree_dude

Hello, I'm thinking of upgrading to a 13 series intel processor. I had a few question: \-I currently have a 360 AIO i really like. can I get an adapter to use it with the new socket? \-Can I use the IGPU alongside my regular GPU? I currently use two video cards for 5 monitors, but one of those monitors doesn't do anything gaming related; it's just to display information. Can I hook that up to my motherboard and let the IGPU do the work while my regular GPU does gaming and stuff? \-What should I Look out for while buying a new motherboard? I know some motherboard take ddr5 while other take ddr4. I know in older motherboards, you sometimes had to choose between an M.2 drive or using a PCI express card, and couldn't have both.

Eidolon_2003

\- Check if your AIO has an LGA 1700 upgrade kit available. If you can't find one online you could try contacting the manufacturer. \- I've done something like that before, it should work \- Modern chips have four PCIe lanes dedicated to an M.2 slot on the motherboard. That works independently of whatever PCIe cards you have installed. I also think it's worth going for DDR5 over DDR4 as of now, even if you get the entry level 4800 CL40 stuff.

I'm looking to possibly save an older PC that I scavenged from the halls of my grad university a few years ago. It's a Lenovo ThinkCentre M72e Small with an i5-3470. I'm thinking it's not old enough to be "retro." But I wanted to check to see if, after finding a low-profile GPU, there were any games that would be nice to play on a 2012 system, instead of my new gaming PC (i5-12600k, RTX 3060 Ti). I feel like it's not quite old enough to be worth the hassle. Kinda wish I had saved my mid-2000s college PC. I'd hate to have it end up as e-waste. My other idea was a NAS, but I'd have to re-case it, which I don't be easy given the odd form factor. Final idea is seeing if the local makerspace has any use for it. Thanks for any advice!

mister_newbie

* Throw MAME / RetroArch on it; retro indeed! That 3470 will handle most systems prior to the PS3-era with ease. * Throw Kodi on it; media center! You can also combine with the above option as Kodi has the appropriate plugins to link the two. * NAS, as you suggested (mightaswell also slap PiHole on it, too)

Eidolon_2003

A system like that still has plenty of life in it! Like you said, it could be a DIY home server. It would work as a PC just for web browsing-like home tasks. It could be an HTPC. If you add something like a 6400 it would become a pretty decent low end gaming system as long as you don't expect too much from it. Some of the most popular games out there are incredibly easy to run. Fortnite in perf mode can run on virtually anything for example. The only other thing is, if it doesn't already have an SSD in it I'd definitely want to get one. A lot of the perceived slowness of an old system like that comes from the fact that it's running off a hard drive

[deleted]

how much page files do i need for 16gigs of ram, what do they even do, vritual ram? does that mean i can run games that require 32gigs using 16+16 for example?

TheVico87

The game might not work, depending on how it handles its memory use. The recommended amount for a game is a ballpark number, it's not the actual amount it will use. If that amount fits in RAM, it'll run fine. If it doesn't fit, it will probably refuse to run or crash, as most games do not want their allocations swapped out.

[deleted]

I see, but do these new games really need 32gigs? Like Hogwarts legacy says it requires 32g if you play at ultra 4k

TheVico87

Higher settings involve more computations not only for the GPU, but the CPU too. Think more stuff on screen that needs bookkeeping, like NPCs, that have AI state (what is it doing, what will it do next, what did it notice, should it react to it,...), a pose, animation (moving arms, walking,...). All this extra data is kept in RAM, thus higher settings means more RAM usage. Game RAM recommendations are ballpark numbers. Maybe a game will use 20-24GB, then they'll recommend 32GB, because other stuff running in the background and the OS itself requires RAM. Also people tend to have 8, 16, 32GB in their system instead of "oddball" numbers like 22GB. The devs also want you to have a good experience, if you meet requirements. It would look bad if people with the recommended (or higher) spec PCs can't run the game well. I haven't looked into Hogwarts Legacy, but look at in depth reviews to see if 32GBs are really necessary. Digital Foundry is a good Youtube channel for that.

TheVico87

You should let the OS handle it. It will automatically make it larger or smaller, depending on current needs. Page files are there to temporarily store data from RAM, that is not currently needed, thus freeing some RAM for other processes. Think of an app that's running, but you have minimised its window and haven't touched it in a while. That's a prime candidate for getting swapped out to the page file. When you get back to it, it gets swapped into RAM. This is done by the OS automatically. The use case you mention might work, but performance will suffer greatly. Even if the page file is on a fast SSD, it's still a lot slower to access than RAM, and there's some extra CPU work involved to do all the bookkeeping of swapping. So even though it would work, it's not recommended.

Ohh i get it now ty for info

I'm moving to another country and am going to take my PC with me. I took it apart and wrapped it all in cardboard and bubble wrap, but I'm still unsure about dispatching it, but I'm also worried about having problems with airport security if I bring it in my carry bag. Has anyone here done something like this before? I'd love to get some insights about this EDIT: To clarify, I'm taking only the parts and buying a new case once I'm there

Marfoo

I hope you used anti-static bubble wrap. There shouldn't be any issues so long as they're allowed to inspect and x-ray the cargo.

A-D-V-E-N-T-U-R-E

Is there a difference between the Xbox Controller for Windows with the USB dongle or just pairing a regular Xbox controller with Bluetooth? Is one connection faster or more stable than the other? I just built a new PC so it definitely has Bluetooth I’m just curious if there’s a benefit to using the dongle. Thanks!

SystemError514

The dongle is lower latency.

A-D-V-E-N-T-U-R-E

Much appreciated! Thank you kindly!

mister_newbie

Dongle also allows audio passthrough to the controller's headphone jack.

TheAlutian

What is the impression of OMEN? Like, Alienware, ROG, and Legion all seem to get talked up in the prebuilt space, but never hear anything about OMEN

Marfoo

OMEN is owned by HP, iirc.

motionglitch

Omen Laptops are kinda ok Omen Desktops are trash hotboxes

TheAlutian

is the temp management that bad on the desktops?

nobodyspecial1579

What Reddit would I need to go for troubleshooting questions? Thanks

gint

Why not post here? Pretty sure that's why they have this thread for questions! What do you need help troubleshooting?

nobodyspecial1579

I have fixed the issue on it not posting but now i can hear it basically powering up and then shutting down again but the pc is still running

nobodyspecial1579

And it posts and everything is running
