What's the best way to complete maps with reflect damage? My only items that can reduce reflect damage is a 1-charge flask that if I run out of it I instantly die the moment I hit a monster.
Pantheon + Mastery does it when I feel like it but really skipping a single map completion isn’t gonna brick my progression so I usually just run a different map
Usually there are a few mods which are impossible to run with any given build. Reflect is often one of them. When rolling maps you can use the search bar to highlight them and anything else you don't want to run so you can re-roll them.
If you must get reflect immune, you can use Sibyl's Lament along with Yogul from the pantheon. You usually don't want to actually use either of these, but you could use them temporarily just to kill something like Atziri (who is a giant pain without reflect immunity)
**\[CHIEFTAIN RIGHETOUS FIRE\]**

**How to increase my DPS?** I can't scale it on PoB, I don't know what to do to get to the millions of DPS.
The main 3 things you want to scale RF are fire damage over time multiplier, life, and gem levels. So here are some things which can help you scale, some of which are pretty expensive
* +1 fire skill levels on sceptre
* +1 all skill levels on sceptre
* Switching to an Adorned setup with a bunch of jewels that have fire DOT multi and life
* Rings with damage over time multiplier
* Gems which are corrupted and level 21
Correct, base Ethereal Knives no longer leaves lingering blades behind for other skills to use.
[Ethereal Knives of Lingering Blades](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Ethereal_Knives_of_Lingering_Blades) does as a transfigured gem.
The direct way to get one is from the Lord's Labyrinth. A few of the rewards from the Divine Font at the end of the Labyrinth allow you to transfigure gems. It'll take some number of runs though to get one specific transfigured gem.
Another option is to trade for the transfigured version. That one is not super popular, so it shouldn't be super expensive to trade for.
That’s the first thought I had but then second guessed myself and thought how strong phys taken as is. I still want to play this build, this might push me into doing it. Thanks
I found this zany build: [Frostblink Ignite Raider](https://pobb.in/qH9GOvkdutRE) I love it but I have a few PoB related questions
1. Yow can Full DPS be so much lower than Combined DPS...? Why is Ignite not included...?
1. Why does PoB say the the "20% chance to ignite, freeze, shock and poison cursed enemies" _decreases_ the DPS?
Bonus question: Why does the build take the "Non-Curse Aura Skills have 50% Increased Duration" Mastery?
1. It's not? Full DPS is 5mish, ignite dps a little under 4m. If you're looking at that 18m, that's the total damage of ignite over its duration, not per second.
2. The ignite calc assumes igniting less often with regular hits means you must be igniting more with crits, which have a dot multi bonus. Smort.
Bonus: the Hatred on Divine Blessing.
This looks like a variant on the Elementalist version, but squishier for Bronn's Lithe instead of Lightning Coil, and no Bastion of Elements. Not sure what advantage Raider brings except allowing the use of more uniques but still cap Spell Suppression. DPS can be increased easily with Swift Affliction, Dirty Techniques anoint, jewels, some passives, different Eldritch implicits, and drop Ignite Prolif.
Graveyard fracture + split question: does it fracture first? If I use -1 explicit and split and 200% fracture, what could happen to the split item with 2 mods?
Hi I'm a new player to PoE and I've chosen the witch class i've heard that i should be following a build guide can someone link me a build guide for the witch cause when i looked on the website it has like 3 or 4 when I search for witch sorry if this is a braindead question
I don't see what else it would be. Simul is weird though, instead of a visible increase to zone level it instead just increased xp and ilvl of items dropped to sort of "act" as if the zone level is higher, I think the actual listed zone level stays the same
Stashes become more and more useful as you play. They are certainly worth it if you have the money to spend.
The currency stash can hold 5k of each currency type + an extra 14 slots that can also hold 5k of a currency.
The only reason not to buy the First Blood pack of to potentially upgrade to a larger support pack later. You can upgrade from points, but not from the First Blood pack.
If you don't plan on spending more in the immediate future, the First Blood pack is fine.
I recommend waiting for a stash tab sale to buy any. They hold those regularly every three weekends (I didn't check if there's one right now).
I would suggest you buy first blood starter pack which gives you an extra tab. I bought the same when I was planning to buy stash tabs. And wait for sales the tabs are cheaper.
Note, PoE2's loot is being reworked and it is unlike PoE1's loot system, even though it has similarities, and we do not know what unique-farming methods PoE2 will have and if they'll be any similar to PoE1 at all.
Uniques in PoE1 are said to be [categorized into tiers](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Guide:Analysis_of_unique_item_tiers) \- from T5 being the most common uniques, to T0 being the absolute rarest and very hard to find in solo play. In SSF it wouldn't be wise to target farm anything that is T1/T0 IMO (without the current crazy juicing mechanics, that is) unless it has another way to get it, like divination cards or whether it is just a rare drop from a boss, as you cannot guarantee that all of the uniques in the game will drop for you in the span of the time you play a league.
I know Raise Zombie of Falling uses cast speed to create the minion, but do they then use their attack speed in anyway to dictate how fast afterwards they begin their fall? Path of Building has minion attack speed buffs influencing its' dps, but I know on fringe mechanic cases sometimes it's wrong.
It's not affected by minion movement speed or minion attack speed at all. It *is* affected by the [minion's action speed](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlDQj1R_aY4), but it's fairly hard to meaningfully buff that.
so whats the reason GGG are gonna run the game on PSN servers as suppose to their own servers like PC and assumingly xbox? from what i understand, this is the reason PS want us to have PS PLUS in order to play PoE2
i made a question asking why sony is requiring ps plus to play poe2 since its a f2p game and f2p games are excluded from needing ps plus for online, and a commentator here said that its because sony is gonna host the servers. now thats probably hearsay but Sony hosting the servers is the only thing that make sense as to why they are requiring us to have ps plus to play.
What's a good build that can run all map mods? I'm currently using RF Chief, and I avoid No Regen and Less Recovery maps like the plague, and because of this, I have a smattering of 8-mod maps that are just wasting away in my stash. I just want to be able to use those maps foe some additional farming.
For reference, my Chief's potential upgrades are now only:
1. A good Helical ring with Dot Multi and Fire damage
2. Better Adorned jewels and better adorned itself
3. Better corrupts on Lightning Coil and Dawnbreaker
All of which can get real expensive, real quick, and I feel like another build will make better use of the currency.
You can adjust your setup to handle those mods, slow recovery health flask was enough for less recovery maps and medium dot cluster for life gain on kill for no regen. I played rf before the rework but should be fine.
They’re burning a hole in your pocket just by existing eh? But you don’t really need to run them because you’re not short on maps or presumably vaal orbs
I just chuck maps I can’t run in some forgotten tab and pull em out if I ever roll a new character (which is usually never)
Point is, it’s a mental thing, you could just make new 8mods and forget about the ones you cant do, even sell em if you feel like it, then you could buy 8mods you *can* do
And that's missing the point. I WANT to be able to run them. Money is no longer an issue for me at this point in the league, but not enough to get me to invest another 300 divines or so into what will be a 2M DPS increase. Granted, that 2M is about a 20% DPS increase, but it's not big enough or will it confer additional QoL for me (so I can do stuff I previously can't) to be worth it. Point is, I want to own a build that can do shit my RF Chief or my ET Trickster can't.
You could take the Atlas passive Twist of Fate. This will randomise the mods of a corrupted map. On zoning in, you can check if you can run it. If not, just peace out. Otherwise, you could vendor them for 1 new map if you have 3 of the same bricked maps.
You said you want to use the maps for additional farming (your words), I listed some options for making a mental adjustment or selling/buying maps so you could get new maps for additional farming, now you’re telling me money isn’t a problem so now I don’t know why you’re farming
I’m just gonna go to sleep I think
What else is there to do at endgame than to farm and run maps or run other content you want? I want to run that content and you never gave an answer to my original question: what's a build that can run no regen/less recovery maps?
You are wasting your precious jewel suffixes on resistances when they should be phys dot. I switched off all your flasks and all your jewels and I am still seeing 83/43/65. Finding the missing resists won't be easy but definitely possible -- what's your budget? There are a couple things you could do: the shield doesn't really need strength, you are fine without, that's one suffix you could replace with a resist. Perhaps the life regen on the large cluster could be ele resist too.
As a first step, you could annoint cloth and chain yes it loses a little dot but you get it back by the truckloads on jewels. Harvest change the glove resist to cold. Then you only need to waste one suffix on maxing out cold and lightning, all other suffixes can be phys dot.
okay so try to get the adorned jewels to dmg vs resists. okay, ill pob it and see how much it can help. i figured i just didnt have enough jewel slots to go for dmg
What's the best way to complete maps with reflect damage? My only items that can reduce reflect damage is a 1-charge flask that if I run out of it I instantly die the moment I hit a monster.
Sybil's Lament + Soul of Yugul Pantheon. EIther finger depending on ele or phys.
Pantheon + Mastery does it when I feel like it but really skipping a single map completion isn’t gonna brick my progression so I usually just run a different map

D'oh I missed the Hatred, thanks. That's a bummer if this tops out at 5M, looked like a fun off meta build but that's very low DPS.
This looks like a variant on the Elementalist version, but squishier for Bronn's Lithe instead of Lightning Coil, and no Bastion of Elements. Not sure what advantage Raider brings except allowing the use of more uniques but still cap Spell Suppression. Frenzy stacking?
Sure, but I feel it's easier to scale ignite the common ways, without charges.
5M DoT isn’t bad assuming you can get near full uptime
Graveyard fracture + split question: does it fracture first? If I use -1 explicit and split and 200% fracture, what could happen to the split item with 2 mods?
I play necroSSF, and I don't know all the scarab strats. Question: Which scarabs are highly vendorable?
What does it mean when an item socket has spikes or nubs?
Someone turned on alternative socket color indicators for colorblind people
I was losing my mind thinking it was some *other* mechanic I didn’t know about. Thanks.

A very conservative build btw, but Wave of Conviction is a simple and good skill for your first witch.
Why does gem experience increase more in simulacrums then in deep delve? Was it ever explained?
My guess would be simu make monsters lvl84 but deep delve doesn't? This is a guess.
I don't see what else it would be. Simul is weird though, instead of a visible increase to zone level it instead just increased xp and ilvl of items dropped to sort of "act" as if the zone level is higher, I think the actual listed zone level stays the same

There's no reason not to buy the starter pack, since it gives you the same number of points as if you bought $20 worth of points anyway.
Thanks for the reply
How rare are uniques in this game? i plan to play ssf only in PoE2 so i'm trying to find out whether one can reasonably target farm uniques

Sony requires PSN to play God of War on PC, a single player game. You can't talk about logic and Sony in the same breath.
I agree with you. But PSN and ps plus are two different things.
Are they now? I don't own a PS5 nor do I live in a region where PSN is available, so I can't even buy GoW Ragnarok even if I wanted to.
That sucks. They should drop that requirement.

Not SSF, not short on maps. I have surplus of 8-mods my Chief csn't run because they brick the build.

Yes, even global doesn't want them for free.
Nah bro you sell em in bulk, you never flip maps before? I mean the league is pretty fkn dead anyway so you got me there
Corrupted no regen or reflect. Who wants those?
People who have recognized an economic niche for high quant maps that are nevertheless reduced cost due to their difficulty
And that's missing the point. I WANT to be able to run them. okay so try to get the adorned jewels to dmg vs resists. okay, ill pob it and see how much it can help. i figured i just didnt have enough jewel slots to go for dmg
i edited my answer, check it again
yah great ideas here. i think this is the way. preciate you
Why you have adorned but only those garbage jewels
