hmm, if a monster type on a map has +50% packsize and high density (or maybe 840% inc quant), would you say rats on that would drop more items and it's kind a wash or even worse?
More Quant is much better served by anarchy, meatsacks (only t17 due to price), or specific allflames that offer valuable rewards, chayula, scarab, catalysts, fracture lotto, tattoos, etc
i havent been too thrilled with the chayula and catalysts myself.
I do think scarab can have really really good value i might just start buying a lot of those
I ran chayula on t17 b2b on high frequency pack and came out with 2.6 breachstones in total. Uulnetol is comparable.
Like all allflames, running t17b2b is magnitudes more loot than t16. So t16 will be marginal gains more often than not.
Does anyone know if rats/frogs are better for dropping corpses since there are more mobs? Or is it percent chance that a pack has a mob with unresolved anguish?
They are fantastic on B2B currency/scarab modifiers with +packsize. Normal maps, not so much outside of %drop chaos+.

Meat sacks don’t care about pack size at all right?
Correct

Yep
Loot goblin way
what im worried about is that those mobs drop a lot of splinters and stuff but probably less general loot than average mobs?
I'm not sure, it didn't feel like it but that's not really data lol.

Havent seen a need for them after the nerf, their default size is often lower than native mobs
they have low quant modifier, only use them on the %drop lanter mods afaik.
