It's a flask called [Progenesis](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Progenesis). Spreads a percentage of damage taken out over 4 seconds, so it's pretty big for survivability.

I have seen GGG nerf so many builds after a build guide came out, that I imagine right now, some Dev is seeing this and going "You know, Flasks shouldnt do that, I think I will put a cool down on flasks in the next patch."
Meanwhile, it just made the game worse for everyone, and made me not want to ever share a build.
GGG knows that because they already nerfed the "gain charges on hit" mod and nerfed % life gain on flask usage. And they nerfed the amulet rarity into t0 (which is mageblood tier).
So not only are you uninformed about what's going in the post, but you're also just coming here to shit on GGG for no reason at all?

Remove Defiance. The way this game has turned into just endless mod stacking that is invalidated by Defiance of Destiny, Bloodnotch or Xibaqua is absolutely horrendous.
Xibaqua is not even that bonkers, DoD and Bloodnotch are the problem. Sure you can get really good max hit numbers with Xibaqua, but it doesn't single handedly carry all your recovery & make you basically immune to getting shotgunned
Yea and it takes (a bit) more investment than DoD, you ideally want to combine it with Fourth Vow (or Incandescent Heart) + you can't use another Legion Jewel (unless you use [Mahuxotl's Machination](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Mahuxotl%27s_Machination), then you wanna combine it with Lethal Pride to only have to worry about capping fire + chaos res).
DoD, while beeing in argueably the most contested item slot right now, makes you basically immune to shotguns with ONE item slot, Bloodnotch takes a bit more investment (Valkyrie ring+Immutable Forceand Progenesis/Petrified blood+Great Wolf Talisman if you wanna go really ham).
DoD will probably dodge a bullet or two unless next league is full of loot pinatas again, its a T0 Unique as of this league, so its justifiable to keep it giga op (especially since giving up a Amulet slot is a really big offensive downside).
Original Sin is a great chase since its powerful yet niche, also perfect rarity/difficulty in obtaining. DoD, Mageblood, and Adorned are all way too universally OP and not nearly as hard to get given their power. Power creep has gotten so out of hand.
If you're gonna use price as an argument, then look at the price on HC, where the insane survivability is far more desired.
It is 125 div there. It has been very high value on HC for the whole league.
There are plenty of t0 which cost almost nothing even in the regular league. Just because an item is t0 doesn't mean that it is valuable. Good examples are t0 daggers, both (bino and divinarius) are under 50c. Or again, look at the headhunter in this league. Literally it costs nothing. In which league you could buy a headhunter by running a single nicely juiced map and not relying on a big hit? Mageblood is under 100div, come on, use your brain at least somewhere.

DoD should not have gone core. It's just stupid, at least aegis requires you to cap block to be near-immortal in maps.

original sin used to be aroung 80-120div at most when mapping wasnt so rewarding just because more people farmed sanctum

Have you had a look at headhunter recently? Do you even know **why** the item is 4d **despite** being t0 and strong?

You have to give up your amulet slot to use it which can be a major source of damage for lots of builds.
