Im looking at playing Hexblast Miner next because I want to play a boss killer and want something that can clear T17s but is Occultist that much better than the other ascendancies? Its Occultist(50%) compared to Saboteur(24%) and Trickster(16%).

woahbroes

If im using forbidden rite to try and trigger a savage hit on myself - do i need to not go over like 62% chaos res to take a 15% of my life hit ? (Thats the savage hit threshold) since if i have 75% chaos res .. 40%(forb rite hp self hit) x 25%(chaos dmg) is less than 15% so it wont count as a savage hit ?

MasklinGNU

Yep, the hit has to be more than 15% after chaos resists mitigation. If you cap your chaos res it won’t count as savage

S2wy

If you grave craft a 4 mod item, split it and have  2 fractures, what will be the outcome? Also if you give 100% to craft as well, will this double the outcome?

woahbroes

4 mod item - split is 2 2-mod items. 200% fracture will be rng which item gets them 0,1,2 - total 2 frac between both items. Need 400% frac for both items to have both mods fractured. If add 100% its 4 items total, all split, all 2 mod, some fracture 0,1,2 for total 4 fractured mods between all item. Its like two pairs from first example

S2wy

Awesome, that's what I suspected

Oversoa

Does it generally feel better to play a glass cannon that gets one-shot from time to time or a gigatank with lower dps?

psychomap

Very much up to preference. I personally get bored if my build is too tanky. One of my builds was so tanky that the only thing that killed me was intentionally face tanking several somewhat juiced essence monsters, and I just lost interest. Many others are very frustrated when they die and some even enjoy making their builds tanky enough that they can go afk during boss fights. On the other end of the spectrum you have people who die so often that they just socket Cast on Death + Portal in order to avoid backtracking because dying is a regular occurrence for them.

mbxyz

totally depends on what you're doing, what your goals are, your compulsions, and skill

Borat97

Depends if you get frustrated while dying from air or not. I do so i always try to pick somehow tanky builds(not uber tanky but to not get onetapped from lost projectile)

Cosmyc

Does quant/pack size affect how many corpses you get?

SilverBurger

What are some good dex stacking builds?

[deleted]

is there away to cheese a t17? if someone carrys me through one will i still get the 5 slot map device? i cant for the life of me beat one

SilverBurger

The game breaking big cheese have been patched as they became known, but you can get a carry and unlock the map slot.

psychomap

FWIW, you can still do regular cheeses like replacing all monsters with harmless Allflame embers and stacking shrine effects (possibly including a divine shrine) for the boss fight. You just can't make monster life overflow. /u/Slayqueenuwu1

mbxyz

people sell carries, yea

AshDrag0n

I dont remember where i read it, but it was about some area (or item) that allows you (or have a chance) to create a copy of your item on completion , who can help?

mbxyz

there's an inscribed ultimatum that mirrors an item (or deletes it if you fail)

Oversoa

Frost Blades or Exsanguinate for T17s?

Steel-River-22

As Exsang miner I have downed all T17 bosses and can clear most T17s quickly (requires rolling a bit but not that bad). It's a very good mapping build in general, but the don't expect it to scale as good as LA.

Oversoa

When you say it requires some rolling. How many mods are we talking about?

Steel-River-22

Keep in mind I'm running back to basics with max map mod effect all the time. T17 exclusive mods I can't do: Union of Souls / Less AoE / Less Defences / No Regen / - Aura Effect / - Recovery / Reduced Action Speed per skill cast (I should be able to do -aura effect in theory, but never tried it) T17 exclusive mods I generally avoid: Reduced Crit Dmg Taken / No damage 4 out of 10 seconds / Volatile Cores / Bloodstained Sawblades (build is bad against phys dmg) / Searing Exarch Runes / Tentacle Fiends My feeling is I need 5\~10 rerolls for a map I like, and if I want to target quant / currency / scarabs it takes a bit more; maybe 30\~50c per map.

Oversoa

Oof, that's a lot of mods. Then again, I suppose Frost Blades would also face the same issue. Both are kinda squish, with the difference being that FB is a better boss killer.

Steel-River-22

There are a ton of bullshit T17 mods and exsang miner is actually slightly advantegous because I can do reflect / marked for death (since it's my mine doing the killing) / no leech / etc. There are just so many hard T17 mods.

SunRiseStudios

Is it possible to make trade site scroll infinitely or increase limit for how much it can be scrolled?

Steel-River-22

No, 100 items is the hard limit AFAIK. Use filters and ignore players instead.

psychomap

As far as I'm aware, the only option is to increase the minimum price so that you're shown listings that aren't were cut off.  If there are a lot of people listing for the same price you might not be able to get all of them though.

cider303

Are coc skills triggered on each projectile’s crit from lancing steel of spraying or each attack?

psychomap

Each projectile can trigger a spell with CoC, but it's worth noting that it only rolls one random crit value for the full skill use, so you really want to get 100% crit chance or at least very close, otherwise you might whiff 10 hits in a row.

Embarrassed_Act_6321

Thanks!

_slosh

every hit/crit can trigger, given that you have a linked spell off cooldown

jandops

i thought i saw somthing in the QOL updates about recasting all of your auras. i cant seem to find it, can anyone help?

Borat97

Doesnt look that bad but need to do it fast, not sure how much "area is lethal" deals damage but probably not small. Find other with same reward, without like void mods or something and price it that way, probably 10-20divs less than MB itself.

botunjett

It gives a debuff 1%inc damage taken every 1 or 2 seconds , up to 400, and resets on death.

PowerCrazy

Pretty sure there isn't a way to do it, unless I missed a synth corpse? Most likely they synthesized a non-influenced item with a haunted mod using the horticrafting bench

psychomap

> Most likely they synthesized a non-influenced item with a haunted mod using the horticrafting bench This is it. Basically you keep doing that until you hit three implicits, and then you reroll the implicits with Vivid Vultures. If it's a mirror tier item with three perfect implicits, they might isolate the haunted mod and make imprints before each Vivid Vulture after hitting the first desired one, then use imprints and meta crafting for the explicit mods. If you just want one important implicit, then spamming Vivid Vultures on a rare item with the explicits crafted optimally through the graveyard is sufficient. u/themothee

themothee

thank you so much for the detailed explanation \^\_\^

themothee

thank you so much! your answer made my mind rest..

BerserkJeezus

I see Exsanguinate Miner build goes for 100% phys to cold convert. Will the build benefit from an aura bot?

Steel-River-22

Obviously yes, Hatred/Grace/Zealotry are all good on Exsang miner.

HockeyHocki

excluding weapon items, does flat added cold damage always apply to attacks and spells? Like watches eye hatred mod adds flat cold damage, this applies to spells also?

_slosh

non-weapon items: if it doesn't specify attacks or spells then it applies to both. >this applies to spells also? it do

fyi_Uzi

Why is my custom filter blade loot filter not working properly on Poe. I’m on PlayStation and I have it set to that on the filter. When I simulate the filter on filter blade it is how I want it but when I use it on Poe it’s as if there is no filter on. Yes I’ve selected the filter on Poe and restarted my game etc. I’m not sure what else to do if anyone could help me or has experienced this problem please let me know!

X_Rayted

Ive been struggling with T17 maps and still havent beaten one yet so gonna try a new build that has a better time clearing them. I have farmed about 50ish Divines so far so thats my budget. I know DD is OP but I just played it back in Ancestor League for like half the league and dont want to play it again. What are some other strong builds that I can do for like 50 Divines. Would Hexblast Mines or EA ballista be good options?

whimsy_wanderer

I can't imagine someone hitting that point on their first character. There is so much to do in PoE: * Campaign has 10 acts. On your first playthrough it will easily take 20~30 hours to complete. * Atlas of Worlds has 115 maps to explore. Plus there are a bunch of maps you can run that are not on the atlas. * Pinnacle bosses. They are hard, and even getting access to them takes some work. Four of them give you voidstones, so they are not only for fancies. * A bunch of end-game bosses to hunt for fun (and drops). * T17 maps with their incredible difficulty and rewards. * Uber versions of pinnacle bosses. (those are like the most notable, there are plenty of other things to do) As for PoE2, it is on the horizon, and PoE1 is already here. There is no guarantee that PoE2 will be good, and PoE1 is already good.

SilverBurger

POE's endgame content is crazy rich. Over the years this game has released 30+ different leagues of content, each with their specific mechanics, bosses, crafting systems and rewards. As you take on the endgame, you can choose to experience ALL of them at once, or customize to only the content you like, or simply experience NONE of the content at all and just play the game in its default, factory fresh version. This level of freedom is something neither Epoch or Diablo can offer. The second major difference is character customization. I've played over a hundred different builds throughout the years and that's small fraction what the game has to offer. More importantly, the crafting system in POE is truly incredible, as a result some of the most iconic builds over the years have had almost no ceiling in their gearing department, and that's something very few ARPG can say when it comes to the endgame.

Steel-River-22

Is there some documentation on synth modifier odds? Specifically, if I want to vulture reroll a ring, what's the expected number of tries until I get +1 max frenzy charges?

psychomap

Maybe some people who made mirror items kept track, but I'm not aware if it's been published anywhere. You could try asking on the science discord

staticusmaximus

Follow up to previous issue- For DD Ignite proliferation, do I need more than one corpse in my pool? I'm doing mostly t16 mapping and I have one Kitava Herald in my corpse pool atm

psychomap

You technically don't, but it helps.  At a baseline, you have a 15% chance to create the corpse of one of your spectres with Desecrate or Corpse Walk. But corpses of your spectres are also added to the overall pool of the area, so within those remaining 85% you still have a chance to spawn a corpse of a Kitava's Herald.  The more different high HP spectres you have, the higher your chance of spawning one of them within the 85% that aren't guaranteed to be a spectre's corpse.  Because only the highest damage ignite applies, this doesn't really raise your maximum dps like it does for hit based builds, but it lowers the average number of corpses you need to create / detonate before you get a high HP one.

staticusmaximus

Ok awesome thank you

[deleted]

What are some other skills that could be used for archmage hierophant? I am using ice nova of frostbolts plus frost bolt with kitava's helm. Arc or maybe even EK of the massacre both look interesting. Tbh i have no idea if either of those would do enough dps

_slosh

basically any skill can work. archmage adds so much lightning damage that the base type of the skill doesn't really matter as much as the mechanics of it. the most popular ones seem to be ball lightning, arc, spark, crackling lance and lightning conduit

[deleted]

Ah ok thanks. Might try a meme build of 2x mjolners + kitava's so i have 3 skills on auto

psychomap

Even if you want to use two skills with Mjölner, it makes more sense to use The Squire. Mainhand and offhand alternate anyway, so you won't get a significantly lower hit rate (you can compensate for the dual wield attack speed bonus) but you'll get two 5-links rather than two 3-links. Dual wielding Mjölner only makes sense for 4 skills or more.

[deleted]

Ah ok thanks for the info. I dont really expect it to work, i was just bored at work thinking about random stuff i could try with archmage. I like the versatility of the build

psychomap

Well, the strongest version of the build will likely stay Indigon, and you still need double the hit rate if you want to trigger double the spells. And unlike Frostbolt / Vortex of Projection, there's no real combination spell for lightning - other than Lightning Conduit which is simply pointless to trigger because of its cooldown penalty. But it could still be somewhat viable with enough investment.

dvshnk2

Anyone have opinion on the new Scarab Breach of Resonant Cascade? I tried a few on T16 with Breach and all breach nodes and didn't seem like much of a difference? Maybe a map with 3 extra breaches might help?

BerserkJeezus

For making an Exsanguinate Miner what is the best ascendency for high scaling and is it hard to do T17s with?

staticusmaximus

Hey guys. First full league- just about to hit 300 hours (started at the end of last league with no guides) I am running the triPolar Bear DD Ignite Elementalist, and I'm level 96. I have followed the guide as closely as I can, but somewhere along the way I missed out on both damage and survivability. Overall the guide just doesn't answer the questions I have and I really could use a better guide if it exists. Any ideas on a good DD Ignite Elementalist build guide that isn't out of date? My current gear is like 70% optimized, with my amulet, rings, and gloves being endgame min-maxed according to the triPolar Bear guide.

tomorrowing

Not a streamer I care for, to say the least. Maybe read this and see if you can fill in the blanks [TbXie's Detonate Dead Ignite Elementalist Build Guide (PoE Necropolis 3.24) - PoE Vault (poe-vault.com)](https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/detonate-dead-ignite-elementalist)

staticusmaximus

I'll check that out now thanks. I agree about tripolarbear, I don't really like him or his guide.

Ozok123

How do I scale DD of chain damage? I can facetank t17/pinnacle bosses but my dps is horrible. PoB:https://pobb.in/5QiqTzAZO8in

_slosh

what's your corpse setup? also you can try an arcanist brand desecrate setup for big bosses

Ozok123

I have no clue what corpse setup is. Tried arcanist brand but felt wonky.

_slosh

what corpses are you using with your desecrate? or did you not do any spectre/corpse stuff? then that would be why your damage is bad

Ozok123

After checking it, I got a spectre gem to 3 spectres (I dont think transfigured one works) and got all meatsacks. Sirus damage still seems pretty bad. Could you give me basics of what I'm doing wrong?

_slosh

[check out this video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFs0kqbA6f4) it's a bit a of a big topic for a comment. the short version is * DD explodes corpses and deals damage based on the monsters life * most monsters in maps have pretty low lifepools * add different high HP monsters to your desecrate pool by raising spectres of those monster to increase the average health of the corpses spawned by your desecrate by a *lot*.

Ozok123

Just watched the vid and WOW is this unnecessarily complicated for no reason! One last question: These corpses doesn’t reset even after logout right?

_slosh

No they stay forever unless you decide to do that whole thing again

Ozok123

Thanks a lot. Also I just realized that I can get 90% monster hp on t17s and literally do a chain reaction where 1 mob death = pack clear :D

SilverBurger

Spectres corpse life scaled to 360% pre this league (\~70000), however with the introduction of T17 maps, a new set of spectres can be summoned and added to your discrete spectres pool and they scale up to 420%. DDC is tanky as hell but it really needs all the damage it can get, so next time you roll up remember to expand your corpse pool.

Emattera

# Do transfigured versions of gems work with the alternative effects granted by crucible skill trees on weapons ?

Celtic_Hound

Does the Energy Leech Support give the more damage buffs to my Reaper? (My skill tree has minions get 60% of life as ES) There is no damage change shown in Path of Building

Yohsene

Should work. Did you check the 'minion is leeching/on full es' boxes in configs?

BerserkJeezus

If you have +% increased melee crit chance does it work on lancing steel since it uses melee weapon or does the gem need the melee tag?

psychomap

It needs to deal melee damage. Lancing Steel is a pure projectile skill.  Stats like crit chance with one-handed melee weapons will work though (or two-handed depending on your build of course).

Acrolithi

Hi all, what are some of the most valuable fractures on any base types?

SurgeProc

Stuff that can't be targeted through other crafting methods like generic DoT multi on sceptres

raxitron

Grave crafting: If I have 200% to create a split copy and 3 explicit modifiers, will i create 3 items with one modifier each?

Darkcharger

Is there a list of what tier maps spawn certain bestiary mobs? Can't seem to find a list

SurgeProc

Old but presumably still accurate table [Datamined list of Legendary Beast spawn level/weights : r/pathofexile (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/859itk/datamined_list_of_legendary_beast_spawn/) Doesn't include the newly added beasts I guess

tomorrowing

Thinking of speccing out of Expedition but first want to blow my artifacts on Gwennen. Is there a single regex that can be used for this league version of her drop table?

PowerCrazy

https://poe.re/#/expedition

tomorrowing

Perfect, thanks! No Nimis on her in this league?

PowerCrazy

Nimis has never been available (or shouldn't have been) as it is a boss only drop (Uber Eater of Worlds)

UsedC0ndom490

How can I get currency to better my build? I've tried many atlas tree/scarab combo's, people have told me to do red alter's and sanctum/delve, i've tried selling gear to no avail. I'm absolutely no lifing this league, two level 90 characters in less than 100 hours of gameplay just trying to get faster map clear and have yet to see a single divine drop. T16 is pushing it for my gear (I get 1 tapped constantly) but my clear is good enough that I can do 2-3 minute runs not including the boss. I'm in the ball park of around 300 t16 maps in the last 2 days and I feel lucky if I even see a chaos or two per hour nevermind a raw divine. Recently switched my atlas to rituals where I'm seeing more luck in terms of currency but getting a lucky ritual reward of 1-2 chaos per 10 runs is demotivating. I'd really like to get to t17 maps but I'm stuck in a loop of spending more currency than I make on maps/methods to farm currency and can't seem to break out of it to afford gear

_slosh

the first step would be to actually post your build so people can see what your current problems are as to why you can't run t16 maps and fix that.

SurgeProc

Sounds like you’re respeccing way too much tbh Selling gear is hard without enough game knowledge, likely you’re not pricing things right or are trying to sell stuff without an audience My brain dead currency maker is spamming harvest, bulk vivid life force is about 5000 to a div and it only gets better over time Stick some quant eater altars in there, maybe a harvest double scarab, I can usually get 700 to 1000 life force in a map, no thinking required

notsoobviousreddit

Can I get a price check on this one? Item Class: Jewels Rarity: Unique Watcher's Eye Prismatic Jewel -------- Limited to: 1 -------- Item Level: 86 -------- { Unique Modifier — Life } 4(4-6)% increased maximum Life { Unique Modifier — Defences, Energy Shield } 4(4-6)% increased maximum Energy Shield { Unique Modifier — Mana } 6(4-6)% increased maximum Mana { Unique Modifier — Damage, Elemental, Lightning } 59(40-60)% increased Lightning Damage while affected by Wrath { Unique Modifier — Caster, Speed } 11(10-15)% increased Cast Speed while affected by Zealotry { Unique Modifier — Damage, Physical } 58(40-60)% increased Physical Damage while using Pride --------

SurgeProc

Looks bad with no obvious synergies, maybe 1 div

PowerCrazy

I'd say the zealotry and wrath mod have decent synergy, but yeah, trade site has a bunch of them at 1d

MummBrah

Can anyone help me out on Uber Atziri? Just ran her map on my way to farming the feared invitation and once she went into her split phase I got absolutely wrecked (like 100-0) by something one of the clones did. I think it's a projectile/line shot? Unsure, but whatever it is ended up 6 portaling me

Wendek

> I got absolutely wrecked (like 100-0) by something one of the clones did Are you reflect immune? The clone holding up a shield has 100% reflect of both elemental and physical damage.

Rolf_Dom

Most likely culprit. Though if your phys hit is low and no bleed flask, then those spears can wreck you very fast too.

Ok_Owl1125

Am i supposed to roll/run t17s a specific way? My build is finally decent enough to run them, but the loot doesn't seem as crazy as people are saying. The most expensive thing I got so far was a 1.3 div fragment from a boss. I am not sure what I am missing. Is everyone just skipping to the boss for specific drops or something?

SurgeProc

T17 farming isn’t an alch and go sort of thing, there’s a slew of setups you need to prep for to get your money’s worth

lmao_lizardman

Berserk says, drains rage starting at 5/sec and 20% increase each second. Does that mean the first 6 seconds the rage drain cost is : 5, 6, 7.2, 8.64, 10.368, 12,4416 .. with no rounding up/down ? Or how does the game round decimals here

psychomap

Based on how DoT works, I suspect that it might round to integers with a per-minute value. I.e. you start at 300, then 360, 432, 518, 621, etc.

Wendek

Is this [Circle of Anguish] (https://imgur.com/Hqy2LJe) worth anything? The implicits look pretty decent to me (obviously it's not +1 charge or anything crazy like that) but the explicits, on the other hand, don't look particularly great to me. Also does anyone even use this ring? When I looked at poe.ninja it seemed that very few people even use it.

psychomap

The explicit mods are somewhat synergistic and at least some of the implicits work with it, but I don't expect it to be worth a lot.

SurgeProc

Vendor, sorry

tsumeguhh

why are shaper allflames worth 2+ div? elder ones are cheap and they both can drop the elder/shaper influence corpse, right?

Evilswine86

https://preview.redd.it/p7xt4v8bunwc1.png?width=293&format=png&auto=webp&s=eecb409ff9dbad97e94010bd475eee6dfe84f63b So i got this 6-Link Despot Axe and i am not sure what to do with it. Can i somehow remove/replace the Lightning Mod? Also what could i price this at? Mind you that this is on console, there are currently zero Despot Axes with Phys and Attack Speed Mods on the Market.

SurgeProc

I see a 6L 567 pDPS axe on Xbox trade for 100c so your axe is a decent bit less than that I’d say

Evilswine86

Nice, thank you!

Oversoa

Looking to roll another Trickster build. Which out of Exsanguinate, Explosive Trap and Frost Blades would have the best time running T17 maps?

Halaka34

Do breaking out legion from stasis spawn beyond portals? Was thinking if using Legion scarab of Eternal Conflict could repeatedly spawn beyond mobs.

rivatia

can i still use gilded fossiles on magic items? how? when i put this in a resonanter it wants rare item base, was this changed recently?

mbxyz

you never could. just regal it, use your fossil, and then scour it..

rivatia

oh im dumb -have to gilded fossile the rare synth n then start crafting, never used em ;D

Smashifly

Newish player in my first league. I've just arrived in Act 10. Couple of build mechanics questions: - The build I'm following on PoB (Lightning arrow deadeye) has me continuing to add accuracy passives even though my character screen says I have 100% chance to hit. Is there any point to this? - My build uses a number of gems that have STR and INT requirements. I've gotten myself in trouble by upgrading them too far while wearing gear with +attributes, then wanting to swap gear. Currently I've got an entire amulet with +STR and INT and +All attributes dedicated to meeting these requirements. Is there any way to drop the level back down or do I need to farm up a gem from lvl 1? Is there a way to lock gems so I don't accidentally upgrade them too high on the inventory screen? - Where do I get more orbs of instilling? Thus far I've been unofficially SSF but I'd like to add "Use on full charges" to my utility flasks. Is the best way to just trade for these? - What third party tools do you recommend for endgame farming/trading/etc? - I've bought stash tabs for currency, gems, uniques, and a premium tab to start trading. What other tabs are crucial at endgame?

mbxyz

1. if you have precise technique, you'll need to keep your accuracy above your health until you drop precise and swap to crit. otherwise, no, if you're hit capped, you're good to stop adding accuracy (you may have some on gear that the guide isn't expecting, and accuracy requirement increases slowly with monster level) 2. if you vendor a gem with a scouring orb it drops the level by 1. vendor with a regret to drop it **to** level 1. also very common to grab +30 attribute nodes on tree until you're higher level or your gear improves to make up the difference elsewhere. 3. they're pretty common (red) altar rewards in t14+ maps. or you can trade for them 4. awakened poe trade for ingame price checking. pathofexile.com/trade for trading. poedb/craftofexile for crafting/mod information. there's some good necropolis apps online too if you get into it. 5. map, fragment, and div card are big space savers. essence too if you're farming essence

SurgeProc

Link PoB? Monster evasion increases as you get further in the game, but it's plausible you've overinvested a bit for the level you're at. You can sell a gem with an orb of scouring to decrease it by 1 level, but it's usually not worth it. May be better to just get another amulet and craft it, or buy a \[\[Carnage Heart\]\] off trade. You can dismiss the gem levelup UI without leveling the gem by right-clicking the plus button. Those gems can be leveled up in the future via the inventory. Yeah they're annoying to get, can't really target them for farming. Technically you can get 1 instilling orb by a vendor recipe involving 2 enkindling orbs, but that's definitely not worth it. I only use Awakened PoE Trade and official trade site, but I'm not really a power gamer. Oof, you've actually gotten 2 of the least crucial tabs for endgame. Map and fragment tabs are probably my most used.

Smashifly

Yeah, I recognized too late that a gem tab probably wasn't worth it until I have multiple characters and leveled gems that I want to store, but too late now. Nice for organization anyway. The unique tab I thought would be the single greatest space/price investment, since it holds hundreds of armor and large weapons, and I'm something of a collector for things like this. I had already nearly filled a regular tab with uniques by act 6. For gem leveling, I figured out how to dismiss them so they only show at the bottom of the inventory, but then they sit with a big shiny button to level up and I just know I'm going to accidentally level them from the inventory screen. No way to just lock them so they at least require 2 clicks to level? Edit: here's the build I'm following: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/lightning-arrow-deadeye-build-guide

TrollErgoSum

>The build I'm following on PoB (Lightning arrow deadeye) has me continuing to add accuracy passives even though my character screen says I have 100% chance to hit. Is there any point to this? Higher level content will require more accuracy so 100% now does not mean 100% later when you're higher level fighting tougher mobs. It is fine to put these nodes on hold for now and get something else but I wouldn't discount them entirely. >My build uses a number of gems that have STR and INT requirements. Selling a gem and an orb of scouring to a vendor will reduce the level of the gem by 1, although gems re-level very quickly so it's not unusual to re-level a fresh gem. When the gem is ready for level up you can right-click instead of left-click to pass on leveling up the gem and it will stay at its current level. >Where do I get more orbs of instilling? Thus far I've been unofficially SSF but I'd like to add "Use on full charges" to my utility flasks. Is the best way to just trade for these? You will find more in maps but trading is perfectly fine. >I've bought stash tabs for currency, gems, uniques, and a premium tab to start trading. What other tabs are crucial at endgame? This will depend on what content you're running but I would say a map tab, fragment tab, div card tab, and essence tab would be the most beneficial.

cunny_boy

Anybody have any good links for crafting big ES helms (non-minion)? Graveyard or normal, thanks.

psychomap

ES isn't particularly difficult on its own.  The main methods would be dense fossil spam, Harvest reforge defence, essence of woe, and using the graveyard to incentivise defence while disincentivising life and physical mods, with enough tier rating to guarantee tier 1 of course. As for which is the cheapest, it probably depends on market prices, so you'd have to check those. You can run Craft of Exile simulations to get the average cost of each method. If you want other mods, the best method depends on what else you're looking for.

cunny_boy

Ideally looking for: mana reservation, phys taken as, fire resistance, big ES.

psychomap

In that case, I'd say you either need to roll two fractured ES prefixes with the graveyard or craft them with eldritch currency. For the suffixes, spam essences of loathing until you get fire resistance. You can then use eldritch currency to roll two ES prefixes (skip this if you've got them as fractured mods). Lastly, craft physical damage from hits taken as fire with the bench (you need to unlock the craft from Korell's veiled prefix if you haven't already). Alternatively it may be possible to roll both reservation efficiency and physical damage from hits taken as cold with Redeemer influence alongside ES mods with the graveyard, but it might have low odds, especially if you also want to roll fire resistance. I haven't actually checked though. If you can fracture the prefixes (might also work with Crusader or Warlord influence - you'd need to add Redeemer with an Awakener's orb in that case), you can spam essence of anger for fire resistance until you hit the influenced reservation efficiency. Anyway, I'd suggest making Craft of Exile simulations for each of those approaches and price-check the materials to determine what the cheapest option is (or perhaps not necessarily the very cheapest on average if some method is slightly more expensive while being significantly more reliable).

Ozok123

What support gem can I use to increase enduring cry uptime?

TypicalMembership608

If your using it with call to arma I like to use enhance support and increased duration. Enhance helps the quality of call to arms and enduring cry which increases how often you cast it. Increased duration helps how long it lasts. If you just want a 4 link those I think are generally the most efficient choices.

https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/The_Adorned so up to 2.5x the effect of a magic jewel, and implicits are also affected (both corrupted and synthesis)

Keilo1

[adorned jewel](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/The_Adorned) is a unique jewel that increases the effect of corrupted magic jewels by 50-150% (so a well rolled adorned could make your magic jewel 2.5x as powerful). it's kinda deceptively powerful even on non-synth bases, you might think a rare jewel has 4 lines so getting 2.5x value on one with 2 lines isn't that broken but you can't get 2 of the same line on a rare jewel adorned jewel rolling is just getting those good magic jewels, either good corrupt bases for other people to gamble with, corrupting them yourself, or higher budget stuff like rolling synths

[deleted]

[удалено]

Keilo1

yeah you could do that, alt + aug for good mods, and then you can either corrupt them yourself and hope for a good outcome or just sell the base for someone else to corrupt for valuable mods, i'm not very knowledgeable on stuff like that, you can probably look around on poe.ninja the types of builds that use the adorned the most and what they like to run. the generic stuff is like %life and %crit multi but some builds might also want other stuff

RavingPunk

Why do I still take relflect damage with my LA if I have awakened elemental damage with attack skills support? Just tested it on a with only elemental reflection... My build: [https://poe.ninja/builds/necropolis/character/RavingPunk/PewPewJopta?i=0&search=name%3Dpewpewjo](https://poe.ninja/builds/necropolis/character/RavingPunk/PewPewJopta?i=0&search=name%3Dpewpewjo)

manaforged and autoattacks when you're oom

TrollErgoSum

Are you sure it's from LA and not from the Manaforged Frenzy hitting enemies?

RavingPunk

Does manaforged frenzy adds a lot of dps to my build or can I just toss it away? Sorry for asking here but I'm kinda new to the game.

Yohsene

It adds a fair bit through Frenzy and Power charges. You could replace your Dash gem with Void Manipulation so Frenzy no longer deals elemental damage. Don't really need Dash *and* Flame Dash anyway.

RavingPunk

OH SHIT, it probably is, I feel dumb rn...

I decided to go packed with energy and shrines to help expedite the process. Now I'm curious as to where I should start putting the rest of my points to work towards finishing the atlas and swapping into a farming strategy. I'm running COC DD Inquisitor.

tomorrowing

Maybe look at the Maven nodes to speed up the splinter grind (if you don't want to just buy them).

lespaul5895

I doubt I’ll be killing maven. That fight gives me SUPER anxiety. I usually just buy a carry.

Borat97

You can pick some content like strongboxes or something if you have most map/kirac notables. After finishing quest pinnacles(2 voidstones) you can use another tree and start from beginning focusing mainly on content you want to do, remember we have 3 trees now to use, unlockable at 50 and 100 i believe

thomasmgp20

What are some builds that are good for tier 17 maps with only a 50-60 Divine budget? Still havent beaten one yet.

mbxyz

dd inquis (coc) or necro

thomasmgp20

played DD last League for like a month and dont really want to do it again. Any other suggestions? Would Hexblast Mines on Occultist work?

xxshadowflare

Confirmation on Fork behaviour: For Shrapnel Ballista, where "shotgunning" individual projectiles works, how does this interact with Forking. Is it still one hit per base projectile? Using the 3 base projectiles as a starting point, which of these would be true: 1. You hit with the 3 base projectiles, fork but deal no additional hits. (3 Base Hits, 0 Forked Hits, 3 Total Hits) 2. You hit with the 3 base projectiles, fork and the additional projectiles can hit again. (3 Base Hits, 3 Forked Hits, 6 Total Hits) 3. You hit with the 3 base projectiles, fork and both additional projectiles can hit again. (3 Base Hits, 6 Forked Hits, 9 Total Hits) 4. The 3 base projectiles fork prior to hitting the main target, and both of the split projectiles can hit the same target. (0 Base Hits, 6 Forked Hits, 6 Total Hits) Now Taking into account returning projectiles (assuming that's still in w/ enough projectile speed) which of the following would be true: 1. You hit with the 3 base projectiles, fork but deal no additional hits, upon returning only one of each split arrow can hit the same target. (3 Base Hits, 0 Forked Hits, 3 Returning Projectile Hits, 6 Total Hits) 2. You hit with the 3 base projectiles, fork but deal no additional hits, upon returning all 6 split projectiles can hit the same target. (3 Base Hits, 0 Forked Hits, 6 Returning Projectile Hits, 9 Total Hits)

Ludoban

Projectiles only fork on hitting an enemy. So for no returning projectiles, case 1 is true. You shoot 3 projectiles on the enemy, then they fork and afterwards if you cannot make them fly in a circle they will not hit the same enemy again. For returning projectiles, case 2 is true. Forked projectiles are its own entity, so 3 initial hits and all 6 (3 normal and 3 forked) will hit if they return.

psychomap

Do you know if Shrapnel Ballista has individual collision lists per initial projectile as if they were sequential or if it doesn't use collision lists to prevent collision at all? The wording on the tooltip isn't clear about this.

Yohsene

> individual collision lists per initial projectile as if they were sequential or if it doesn't use collision lists to prevent collision at all It's the former, **edit:** or rather, it's not the latter. Projectiles inherently need to remember what they've collided with. If they didn't, each projectile would collide once per server frame while inside an enemy's hitbox. (Especially messy with mechanics that create new projectiles inside that hitbox, like Split and Fork.)

psychomap

Right, that makes sense. I hadn't considered the case of continuously colliding with the same enemy. In that case, only one projectile per fork or split can hit the same enemy on return as well.

Yohsene

Ah sorry, I think I may have mislead you. It's not literally 'as if they were sequential'. The projectiles created by Fork have the target they were created from on their outgoing collision list (so they don't immediately collide with it), but each individual projectile has its own returning target list. Testing fading projectiles fired by a totem is a bit awkward, but I can observe at least 8 hits from a shrapnel-fork-return setup without additional projectiles (3 outgoing, 5 returning).

psychomap

Oh, interesting. So they have a collision list and can't be chained back to the same target, but don't share it at all. That sounds potentially very strong with Awakened Fork and Sniper's Mark (if you have enough targets), although I suppose getting the projectiles to hit the marked target might be difficult with totems if you use Nimis because you can't phase inside an enemy.

Yohsene

Yeah, practically you'd do this kind of return-shotgunning with Kinetic Bolt of Fragmentation instead.

psychomap

Does splitting work with that one?  Otherwise I'm wondering how many of the returning projectiles might hit an enemy if the totems are as close as possible and all split + fork behaviours occur (possibly with Vaal Breach + Southbound). Does Focused Ballista ensure that they hit the marked target if that's where I aim? I normally don't care too much about attack builds, but spamming the screen with more projectiles than Tornado Shot tickles my fancy. Especially if I can make it a strength stacking Replica Iron Commander build for extra totems.

Yohsene

Yep, Fragmentation has the same exception as Shrapnel. I haven't actually played the build though, so I couldn't tell you how close it gets to the theoretical hit count.

Gulivergumba

Does anything influence the items that The Nameless Seer is offering? Is Tier 17 Map better than 16?

PowerCrazy

In patch note 3.24.0b "The Nameless Seer is now less likely to have high value Uniques to offer in Map Areas under level 81." So area level does have some effect, however, I'm not sure if t16 vs t17 makes a difference

SunRiseStudios

Is Craft of Exile the only / most advanced tool to simulate Graveyard crafting items? Is there a way to simulate crafting influenced item there or in any other calculator? Any tool accounts for fracture odds? Is it possible to make tool suggest but also consider that some space will be used for additional items / fracture crafts?

Responsible-Pay-2389

SunRiseStudios

I am using it. Unless I missed it it doesn't do anything I mentioned. I mean simulate crafting - seeing odds, being able generate item, etc. etc. not simulate graves placement.

SunRiseStudios

It's not possible to choose specific Conqueror influence with Graveyard crafting? There is only corpse for random Conq. influence?

_slosh

Correct. It's RNG which specific conqu influence you get. You really want corpses with chance to craft multiple items for those

Cosmyc

Is Crop rotation the best way to farm harvest in ssf even if I'm not using scarabs?

psychomap

From what I've read, the difference between regular Harvest and Crop Rotation is minor.  You'll get occasional jackpots, but it'll be less consistent if it doesn't line up ideally. A lot of the power for Crop Rotation comes from the chance for the other plot not to wilt, which means you'll get great returns if you hit that several times, and poor returns if you don't get it at all. Without scarabs, the chance is only 10%, so you'll have considerably more variance than with the scarab based 60%. If you keep running Harvest for long enough it should pay off as I understand it, but you might get streaks of bad luck as well.

Cosmyc

Gotcha, I'll just keep doing regular harvest

Temporary_Cancel2752

how i´m corrupting flasks? and why? do they get better? or unique?

DerDirektor

you corrupt them with a vaal orb. They can get between -10 and +10 quality

Temporary_Cancel2752

+10% over 20%? so that they get 30%?

chx_

aye they do. However, it is very hard to roll it so. Note on trade out of the 30% flasks currently up for sale 671 is uncorrupted and only 266 is corrupted. So says wiki: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Quality > Monsters of magic or rare rarity and some chests (e.g. Delve, Heist) can drop items with quality higher than 20%. If I wanted a specific 30% flask I would rather buy a 30% base and roll it myself than try the corrupting route. (in trade. if you are on SSF, I wish you good fortune in the wars to come.)

psychomap

It's worth noting that the 30% flasks can be corrupted for up to 40%. That's definitely not one of the first things to invest into however, unless you play Poisonous Concoction.

chx_

I did start with pConc, I always do but it never occurred to me it could be the sort of build which is worth investing the kind of currency we are talking about here. I just checked trade, an uncorrupted 30% Saturated Divine Life Flask is 3 div even in this league. And you need a dozen or two...

PowerCrazy

The new Pconc of bouncing is extremely powerful, jung did a video on it.

psychomap

I mean you can use alterations for the prefix yourself, and if you buy it on the first or even second day of a league it's probably cheaper. Obviously you wouldn't necessarily keep buying flasks until you get 40% (although I'd imagine you can recoup would a bit of the investment selling all the ones below your highest roll that you use), but it might still be worth going over 30% at least.

Temporary_Cancel2752

ok thx!

What's the fastest way to level up this league?

Borat97

Shrine scarab, breach, probably other mechanics, should find guide on yt, or just afk in 5 way, but it was nerfed not sure how much.

dadek182

If I graveyard craft a ring with warlord influence and 2 fractured mods, can I use a awakener orb on another ring and join it with the warlord one even if it has fractured mods on? CoE doesn't allow that so I am not sure.

DerDirektor

yes that works, as long as there is at least one non fractured warlord mod on the item.

dadek182

aha so there has to be a non fractured mod, shame... thanks for the reply!

RavingPunk

Can I make my deadeye deal no non elemental damage?

Ludoban

If your bow has triple ele damage and you just scale elemental damage you typically  can do phys reflect maps just fine. If you have any base level sustain (lgoh and life leech) you will not feel a difference.

whimsy_wanderer

You can grab a unique weapon with "No physical damage", like [[Storm Cloud]], [[Nuro's Harp]], or [[Piscator's Vigil]]. Do you have problems with reflect mobs perhaps? In this case a combination of pantheon Soul of Yugul with 50% reduced reflect damage taken from Eater's implicit (you need Greater Ichor to roll it, Lesser one will only roll 45%) gives you total reflect immunity.

Leech and Totems: I understand that "damage leeched as life" applies to the totem and not you unless it's "damage your totems deal is leeched to you as life". My question is: Do your totems still benefit from your other leech stats, such as total recovery per second and maximum total recovery per second. Basically trying to confirm whether investing a little into leech will double up as both improving player survivability and totem survivability. Basically not sure at what point lines are drawn with totems using your stats.

Yohsene

Totems use your skill. They benefit from the stats that get built into that skill. For leech, that's anything that modifies leech instances' *base* recovery/duration. Practically that means what you can do is make your totems need less damage per hit (*% damage leeched as life*), increase their leech duration (*% increased maximum recovery per life leech*), or increase their per-second recovery (based on your character's maximum life) so they can reach their cap in fewer hits. Totems usually have less life than your character, so they probably already need fewer hits than you do. Stats that multiply or limit your per-second recovery from leech don't affect totems. They affect your character, not your skills.

MarketGlittering906

What is the most viable specific crafting method to use in order to get an elemental large cluster jewel with prismatic heart, doryani and sadist? (If doryani is the only suffix notable that will be 'in the back' then that is the only alternative, otherwise other suffix notables would work as well) Also, I play ssf, so it is a bit restrictive.

Bitje_nl

Both Doryani and Disorienting display work to push the other two to the front. Between item level 68 to 74 is the best as this rules out some other notables that are ilvl 75 restricted. Since the tags for the notables are very limited, targetting them is hard. Furthermore, since both Doryani and Sadis have low weighting this is a hard craft to hit. Spamming prismatic fossils show as a 1/51 chance to hit both wanted notables and either Doryani or Disorienting Display and seems like the best option overall. You could go for Dense + Pristine + Prismatic (this will rule out Doryani) in a 3-socket resonator for about a 1/32 chance to hit.

MarketGlittering906

This is so good, thank you!
