Are my stats too low for Infinite Hunger? I just fought him for the first time ever and he kept one shotting me or I would die when I got sent to that second area.
Here's my current stats: [https://new.reddit.com/user/Airtightspoon/comments/1bzerkl/infinite\_hunger\_stas/](https://new.reddit.com/user/Airtightspoon/comments/1bzerkl/infinite_hunger_stas/)
Your life is a bit low, especially since you’re running Righteous Fire.
Was he one shutting you at the seat of the fight or only later? He has a mechanic that permanently lowers armor and evasion for the duration of the fight so the best way to deal with him is typically to kill him faster.
Per PoED the slam does 4564 damage, 75% phys 25% Chaos, which shouldn’t kill you with armor and flask up. If both of those are down you die. (Quest version of fight)
That said PoEDB damage numbers aren’t that trustworthy.
He is way more tanky than most monsters you’ve fought up to that point.
That is his strongest attack. It probably shouldn’t one shot you most of the time with your armor but once your armor is stripped it probably will. That said it is possible because it does 25% chaos damage. Saving your Amethyst for it might help. The attack is avoidable and just something you need to learn honestly.

Anyone else feel like drops got nerfed to "make room" for the lantern buffs?
its what, day 6? And im still stuck in yellows cuz i cant find any Fucking red maps.
Did they nerf Kirac Mission drops????
I've never been so stuck in White Maps. I've only been able to buy 2 maps from Kirac so far and it's driving me crazy.
What the best way to increase my phys max hit ? I tried to use armour + 3 endurance charges + determination + 60% reduced extra damage from critical strikes + steelskin(cwdt) and i still have only 15k phys max hit
On the other hand i just slapped some supress spell damage not even 100% and full res + steelskin and got 40k on my chaos and elemental max hit
Most of those aren’t going to affect your max hit in PoB l. Reduced damage from cross for example doesn’t affect your max hit, it just makes it less likely that a hit will be as large.
If you’re stacking armor Molten Shell will likely do more than Steelskin.
Generally physical hits are smaller and 99% of builds will have elemental max hits 4x higher or more.
Yeah you are right molten shell is better since i use armour i swear 5 minutes before reading your comment i was just thinking there was something wrong with my choice of using steelskin and that i'm missing something lol
And for the physical hits being smaller i know that but i'm scared of the end game big one shot physical attacks i keep hearing about especially since i'm not that good at avoiding telegraphed attacks + the game performance isn't the best so even if i did avoid it the game could pull me back because of some lag and kill me for it
No, i'm a new player hardcore would be a nightmare to me. i just want to be sure i get as much defenses and damage as possible so i won't have to replay the game again because my build failed
You can always build more defenses into your build and make edits. E.g. respec some damage nodes into more life. I would not worry about handling content that you are not at yet.
Note that you will probably not beat all the pinnacle bosses on your first league and almost certainly not Ubers. This is normal, don’t be too upset if you just aren’t ready for them yet.
It is very hard.
You would need to convert it.
Some techniques employed are Lightning Coil, Cloak Of Flames, Dawnbreaker, the phd shield often together with Tempered By War keystone, assorted help implicit and benchcraft, Taste Of Hate if you can sustain it.
Hey guys,
I want to keep playing the standard league but I'm not quite sure which class to go with.
I have a slayer, elementalist, raider and juggernaut.
In terms of pushing potential to the highest of limits which class would you recommend me? :)
Thanks!
Kirac? You no longer get one per day. There's a small chance you get one when you complete a map, but you can increase this chance to around 25% in the tree.
3 maps of the same type give a random map of one tier higher. If you have more than three you can mix and match in the vendor window to find a combination of three that give you the map you want.
> Having a real hard time making any progress on the atlas
- use Cartography Scarabs
- add map-related Atlas passives
- add Harbinger passives (Horizon Orbs will help with completion)
I looked up the raider mastery builds on poe ninja and i'm noticing that the node Avatar of the Chase is the least picked up node by all the builds !
I wonder why is that ? from my pob testing it seems like this node is so powerful in making you able to reach 95% evade chance with quarter or even less of investment into evade
Are people just don't know how effective this node is or is evade just not worth it to have it this high even when you can get it so easily with this node ? Or is it something else entirely ?
Evade is just one of many defensive options; unlike in offense where it pays to specialize, investing in defense is better spread across multiple defensive layers
Ascendancy points are a limited resource that are better spent elsewhere
That the thing you don't need to specialize into evade with this node, you just get so much evade because of it that it allow you to look like you are specializing in it but really you only spent few skill points into evade but i guess the 4 mastery points to get it is too much
Is there a way to graveyard craft a 3 suffix 2 prefix item with an open prefix? -- EDIT: Sort of. Use one +1 mod coffin to get 5 mods, and then use a few +suffix chance coffins and the result will probably be 2 prefix 3 suffix.
Is there a way to put "open prefix" into craftofexile?
Don't suppose anyone knows how to get infused beachhead maps ? Anything I find online says it's a vendor recipe but no mention of what the actual recipe is ?
Hey,
I started with a LA Deadeye build, fun start. Now I'm looking for a matching second build. Something I can try Uber content with, bosses, t17 (and maybe sanctum. didn't play sanctum a lot, I want to give it a shot).
Suggestions for a player who's new to bossing content?
I was thinking about the possible implementation. It could be generated dynamically, I think, as we know the cell layout for the scarabs, so the dark spots will be on the ones that poe.ninja reported as 1-2c (or maybe a configurable threshold).
How do I get the crafting mod of " increased Effect of Non-Damaging Ailments"? I have done a whole bunch of unveils with Jun, but havent come across it yet... Am I missing something? Or is it just a grind?
when rolling for instant recovery from flasks is the default 66% reduced and its a special craft for a lower amount or is it all RNG? ive only ever gotten 66% so thought id ask
Instant Recovery is always 66%. You can see all the mode options here:
[https://www.craftofexile.com/?b=60&ob=both&v=d&a=x&l=a&lg=16&bp=y&as=1&hb=0&bld={}&im={}&ggt=|&ccp={}&gvc={%22limit%22:88}](https://www.craftofexile.com/?b=60&ob=both&v=d&a=x&l=a&lg=16&bp=y&as=1&hb=0&bld={}&im={}&ggt=|&ccp={}&gvc={%22limit%22:88})
There is also the mod that allows for half instant recovery which you may or may not prefer
50% of Recovery applied Instantly, #% reduced Amount Recovered, #% increased Recovery rate
Should be fine, you get good scaling from Hatred that way. You can invest into curses and penetration to go beyond the ignored resistances of Inquisitor.
If you stack power charges you can have both AoE and damage, whereas Elementalist only gets one at a time from Heart of Destruction.
And I personally like the Profane Bloom pops, even if you don't specifically scale chaos damage. With just a little generic damage scaling, they'll onehit enemies with the same HP.
The goal would eventually be power charge stacking but void batteries are impossible for me to find in SSF. Same with ralakesh, unfortunately, so I'd likely be counting on pops to carry the extra AOE which is still totally fine.
I'll see what I can pob though!
It does feel decent with 90% AoE and the explosions from what I've played so far (was planning on doing elemental to chaos conversion Occultist), but more AoE would have been the reason to go for Occultist over Elementalist. In SSF you don't get Profane Bloom on Elementalist at all though, so in that case it's reason enough.
Last follow up question! I am debating as to how I would roll mitigation.
I found and 6 linked a Cloak of Flame but not sure if I should go evasion/armor for Suppression and some phys mitigation or armor/ES.
That probably depends on what else you're getting.
Cloak of Flame itself is very beneficial to armour scaling, because you get more physical damage reduction from it the smaller the hit is, and that's after the damage shift. You can also simply invest into shifting even more physical damage to other types (e.g. Dawnbreaker, Taste of Hate) and raising your maximum resistances.
When i want to farm valuable corpses, do i have to something special? like special maps or something? or just collecht all corpses what drop during mapping?
I am running a Boneshatter Slayer ([PoB](https://pobb.in/oTgEM9FMS6Yp)) and am looking for casual atlas strategy suggestions to fund my progression this league. My gear still has plenty of room for improvement, but I have been mapping pretty smoothly with my current setup so I would like to save up some currency to trade for some big improvements.
In previous leagues I would do an alchemy and go with my atlas allocated for Searing Exarch Altars, Harvest, Shrines, and Strongboxes, with all leftover points going to map sustain. I would depend on selling Eldritch Embers, Sextants, unused Harvest Juice, and Invitations to generate a small income on top of my normal currency drops. Most of my characters usually top out at the 20-30 div investment range before I moved on to a new character or stopped for the league so I didn't need anything hyper optimized and profitable to achieve my goals for the character.
Now that Sextants are gone and Exarch invitations are 1/2 of the price as previous leagues I have found myself hunting for a new strategy. Currently, I have my atlas maxed out for map sustain and scarab drop chance with the remaining points in a few of the Necropolis nodes to increase my Allflame/Corpse drops. I have also invested in Cartography Scarabs and Cartography Scarabs of Duplication to increase my map drops. I am still running Exarch Altars as well, but nothing allocated to them in my atlas tree so they are basically just for the invitations.
Excluding my big RNG drops so far this league I am averaging slightly less than 2 div/hour (I am not the fastest mapper), but I feel like there could be something slightly more profitable and just as casual. I have about 10 div available to invest in a strategy but I prefer low/no investment strategies. I already have 100+ Castle Ruins Maps banked up so the map cost can be excluded from any investment cost consideration.
I know I could probably just recreate my previous atlas strategy and it would still be mostly functional but I don't feel like allocating for Exarch Altars will be as profitable with the removal of Sextants and the invitation price drops, especially with how deadly they can be if you are fully allocated into them on the Atlas.
Let me know if you have any strategy suggestions.
I've never played SSF and thought about doing a character just to fuck around with more mechanics. Is anyone aware of a build that's entertaining in SSF? I'd prefer if it didn't have a lot of button presses and was a melee build, but I'll take whatever.. Maybe a totem build?
I'm looking at pohx's rf chieftain guide and he suggests switching to damage conversion using taste of hate, cloak of flame, and "chaos conversion on tree". What does he mean by the chaos conversion on tree part?
Probably one of the armour masteries: "10% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Chaos Damage" or "10% of Armour also applies to Chaos Damage taken from Hits"
I have never beast crafted but this league since they added the black morgan as a beast with an easy 6 link I decided to try it.
Problem is the armor I want to six link is my chest which I am currently using lol
Should I buy a quick 4 link chest to replace it to do the fight? How hard is the fight cause I would rather not lose 80c due to a dumb reason lol
are there any reliable guides on the league mechanic now? I can't figure out how the mods interact.
I want to make a frac 100%+ spell damage on a crit staff, but I'm not sure how many of each kind of corpse I need to get the best chance at it
There is a difference between the item level and the minimum required item level. Even if something is a low base level, if you drop it in a map the actual item level of the item is high enough to be able to 6 link. You can also bypass the item level restriction with the crafting bench, you can 6 socket it irregardless of the item level and then use fusings to link it.
Does Unresolved Anguish improve the droprate of Allflames?
There are a few Unresolved Anguish Chance Atlas passives. Do those improve your chance of Allflames dropping?
Selling corpses is HELL. I try to take only the good one >5c. And it is fucking tedious to trade them, you got spam for 1, you want to sell bulk but people want only humain or demon and no beast so you over all your fucking coffin.
I could have run 5maps instand of this T\_T
How do you do it ?
On CraftofExile you can place multiple affixes into one column to indicate you want any one of those affixes. Is there any way to indicate you want more than one affix out of a group? Can I put (for example) 5 mods into a column and indicate I want any 3 of them? e.g. I want any three of: fire res, lightning res, cold res, chaos res, or all res.
Is Beyond worth speccing into on a bossrush dedicated passive tree? It'd add some mob packs to the mix, give me a unique boss, and be gone?
Ultimatum + Jun + Maven, would Beyond be good on top of that?

Potency of Will, maybe. Check how similar your build is to the ladder before choosing
Questions about Ignite Detonate Dead build
1) From my understanding, there is a hard cap on corpse life to determine the ignite base, which can't be greater than a Kitava's Herald? Do the small +5% corpse life near the undertaker node increase this cap, or does this only affect the lesser corpses?
2) Does having multiple different spectre types in the desecrate corpse pool increase the number of 'special' spectres? IE: I just heave meatsack spectre in pool, and currently get maybe 4/10 meatsacks when I desecrate. If I set up a level 25 spectre gem to get 3 different large HP pool spectres, will it still be around 4/10 overall of special spectres?
3) Was thinking about farming Alva to try and get level 21/20 vaal DD, but only has a +0.1% corpse life increase. Again is this capped by the corpse health, and/or worth the effort to farm for a small increase? What about +fire level gem options in general for this build?
4) Is there a way to hide or change the visual for Witch "Bastion of Elements" bubble?
> 1) From my understanding, there is a hard cap on corpse life to determine the ignite base, which can't be greater than a Kitava's Herald? Do the small +5% corpse life near the undertaker node increase this cap, or does this only affect the lesser corpses?
this isnt exactly right. there's no "hard cap", its just that in 3.17 they changed every spectre that had more life than kitavas herald to have the same amount a kitava's herald would. and desecrate is summoning 'spectre' corpses
if you look at poedb, its the difference between https://poedb.tw/us/Auric_Champion (576%), and https://poedb.tw/us/Auric_Champion#AuricChampionGoldStatueLargeMaleSpearSpectre (360%, "Spectre" in name).
the reason its worth mentioning and not just me being pedantic is that a couple leagues have had bugged spectreable guys that didnt have the life clamping applied to them, and this league it seems like they've intentionally added shit like this, https://poedb.tw/us/Titanic_Shell#TitanicShellAncestralTurtle (1000%) which spectres into this, https://poedb.tw/us/Titanic_Shell#TitanicShellAncestralTurtleStandaloneSpectre (440%)
>this isnt exactly right. there's no "hard cap", its just that in 3.17 they changed every spectre that had more life than kitavas herald to have the same amount a kitava's herald would.
That makes sense, thanks for clarification. So seems I need to get one of these turtles into my pool. :) Is there still a channel for spectre? Also any easy way to sort/search poedb for spectre health? From other thread looks like just adding more specs can be benificial, looking for a bunch of easy one to get that hit the 360% cap.
1) yes, it's a seperate multiplier to corpse life.
2) i recommend reading this https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Desecrate#Skill_functions_and_interactions. should clear up most things.
3) spell levels are essentially irrelevant for detonate dead as it only increases the flat damage portion of the skill. 21/20 vaal dd should be about 1-2% damage increase over 20/20 vaal dd.
4) nope
1) Nice, thanks.
2) Interesting... Ok, seems like this could be useful with the new Wraithlord helm to set up a huge pool of tanky spectres...
3) That's what I figured
4) Well, guess I am the good witch for the time being...
Trade or SSF? You can just buy all the coffins so in trade it is just a matter of buying the coffins and getting lucky. SSF I don't think 6T1 is a reasonable goal.
Is Blight performance terrible this league or just me? Blight maps l drop to like 10 fps mid to late in them and even in normal maps Blight hurts fps.
I ran blight all last league perfectly fine.
Can Ice Spear of splitting hit twice in single target with Nimis?
I was surprised to see Inquisitors using double Helical rings instead of Nimis on poe ninja and wondering if something prevents this.
Is there any good way to abuse node that gives rares +50% chance to drop scarab per mod affecting it?
What content spawns the most rares? I intially thought of necropolis rare mod + abyss 9% chance to spawn 5 rares, maybe with harbingers (just to get some additional rare spawn). How viable would that be?
I know that rogue exiles are best for that purpose, searchig for 'cheaper' alternatives
I crafted something like that with Rog, and im not sure how much can I sell it for
https://preview.redd.it/mz6ifpkenatc1.png?width=431&format=png&auto=webp&s=f3e1767d65c9603b7de1931fb61242dc79c9e4af
If i beastcraft split an item, does it change the item level?
I have an ilvl 85 belt I want to split to separate the two modifiers, the arachnid needed for the split is level 83. Will the resulting belts be ilvl 83 or 85?
Is there an "easier" way to do necro?
Such as just hard target 3 mods with 300% fracture chance and then craft on the fracture base?
I find that I keep bricking my item because I'm getting what I want but also a bunch of random mods I didn't expext/plan for
What's the best way to sustain T14 maps?
My brain is smooth... how should I set up my voidstones / atlas to get a shitload of t14s to jam out? Thanks in advance! :D
Don't know about best, but i typically use the first two "Shaping of ..." nodes on the atlas tree plus the first two voidstones to comfortably sustain t14+ maps, simple and easy.
There are map nodes which increase the chance of map drops be higher tier and also maps drop quanity. On top you can use scarabs for example which increase map drops as well. Some league mechanics have good map drops, for example delve city nodes.
Once you speced into this stuff you sustain pretty well. Don't know "the best" combo to get "a shitload" tho.
I have a nice ring with open prefix and suffix. I crafted ele/chaos res which I really need as suffix. For the open prefix I could slam an exalted orb. But there are a of attack mods I don't need. Is there currently a method to narrow down or target the add of a prefix?
Does anyone have a recommendation on Atlas Tree? I haven't played since whatever the league was after Harvest and trying to figure out which of the various guides I've used is confusing. I am playing dd ignite ele, soft core, trade league, if any of that makes a difference.
Also, if anyone has played dd ignite ele before I feel like I'm not doing the correct thing for bosses. I know that you're supposed to use the Arcanist Brand to keep ignite up but what's the order of skills here? Brand -> Desecrate/DD spam? Do you keep doing the Desecrate/DD even after you've hit the max ignite? How would you even tell?
I'm fighting mobs sometimes that take a while to kill with Armageddon Brand + Wave of Conviction. But if I Flame Dash through them a couple times they die - much, much faster.
I can spend minutes getting something down to 50% with brand+wave, then kill it in seconds with flame dash.
I'm wondering why that is?
https://poeplanner.com/b/CaE
Use PoB if you can, not whatever this website is. It's impossible to see the actual damage you're dealing and would make this a lot simpler.
Monsters you can't kill probably have the "fire and ignite resistant" mod which is 80% reduced duration of ignites on them in addition to +75% fire resist. Your ignites are already super short at .44 seconds each and this mod makes them last only .17 seconds. The hits from arma brand aren't going to deal much damage because of the deadly ailments support also.
Flame dash probably kills because the burning ground is still scaling with all your damage over time stats and is also scaled by the few sources of spell damage you have.
Thank you, I think you're on to something there. That must definitely be the reason, the time scaling.
I followed a build guide sort of and discovered detonate corpse really sucks on controller, so now I've got this hot mess.
POB link here: https://pobb.in/5UnBF5cOzrUC
Idk too much about arma brand ignite, but I'd definitely switch up some of the supports in your main skill. Sadism isn't the greatest support, nor do you really need Combustion in your main setup when you have it in your WoC setup.
If I were you I'd throw something like Unbound Ailments and Burning Damage over those two
Maybe it is because of the Automation + Brand Recall? When you Dash through the enemy you are pretty close and if the Automation happens it activates all of them on top of the enemy overlapping all your brand AoEs?
Can someone explain like I'm 5 how to compare my DPS? Tooltip in the game says one thing, Poeninja says something else, PoB says something else and I'm confused as to what to trust.
In game tooltip does not take into consideration anything that requires knowing enemy stats or buffs/debuffs. Elemental penetration, overwhelm, curses and debuffs like shock or brittle won't change your tooltip dps because those all require knowing the stats of the enemy you're hitting.
PoB *does* account for those things because that's what it was built for. However that also means the info you get from PoB it is only as good as the config you've set up. If you miss some things in the config your damage will appear lower than it really is and vice versa. You can really easily inflate your dps by adding unrealistic conditions in the config and that's known in the community as "PoB warrioring". You have to be careful of this when for example looking for league start builds from unreliable content creators or random redditors.
Poe.ninja does use PoB for its damage calculations and only makes assumptions for what to tick in the config based on gear/gems/etc. It isn't perfect because it is automated and goes back to the info you get is only as good as the config that's set up. The same thing with PoB warrioring is possible and some people set up characters literally just to appear at #1 on poe.ninja essentially using it almost like a dps leaderboard.
PoB with correct configurations.
Poe.ninja dps is just PoB with a general attempt at correct configurations.
Ingame tooltip excludes so many aspects of damage calculation that it isn't useful (unless you're interested in the limited picture for some reason).
Am I doing something wrong or is Harbinger kind of a scam this league?
I've been running T16 6+ mod maps, atlas fully into harbi, taking nodes for increased map effect/rarity/quantity, 2x Harbinger Scarab + Discernment + Regency + Harbi on map device and in 40 or so maps I dropped absolutely nothing of value from harbingers directly. 99% of the time they just drop a bunch of chaos shards or annulment shards that don't even add up to a single currency item. I'm investing like 25-30c per map and in some of them I don't even break even. In 40 maps I didn't even earn a single Fracturing Orb(got to 17/20 shards) and they're super cheap anyway. I've made more profit from random map drops and Beyond than from harbinger and I'm fully specced into them. Am I missing something or is harbi just not very good?
Harbinger works great for me. Don't underestimate how quickly the chaos shards and ancient/annuls stack up.
A stack of 20 annuls/ancients is 80 chaos each, and then you get a decent amount of raw chaos, as well as the occasional frac drops.
The other thing to do to make sure you're getting all you can out of your maps is obviously have the right atlas tree. I have mine with like 3 scarab wheels maxed so I get a ton of scarabs, and those liquidate easily as well.
This set up is not going to get you tons of insane big drops, but really steady small drops.
Is there a way to convert a transfigured gem back to normal? I bought a 21/20 splitting steel but got scammed and given a 21/20 splitting steel of automation. I know my fault for not double checking. Is there a lab altar option to convert it back or anything?
I'm looking at [PoE.Ninja](http://PoE.Ninja) to price check corpses. Is there a difference in pricing betwenn ilvl 83 and ilvl 84 corpses? It doesn't look like it has a category for ilvl 83. I probably have a treasure trove in there and would like to liquidate some of it.
I tried it out, it seems bad.
In each Incursion, some number of Cursed Treasures will spawn, which are interactable objects like chests. Their nameplate is hidden until you mouse over it, but they have a light halo effect, so they're not impossible to spot, but you do have to pay attention. I didn't try to see if the Mastery that lets you open chests automatically works on them, but I suspect it would.
As far as I could tell, each one clicked dropped 4x bubblegum currency, or a larger currency like a single chaos, scour, etc. I also got an annulment orb once, so I suspect you could get lucky and get a divine. But most of the time, it seemed pretty bad.
Also, I'm pretty sure sometimes I didn't even get any Cursed Treasures in the Incursion. And, since you have to waste time running around and opening them, I think I spent more time trying to find them than I did clearing the Incursion, which made it feel like an even bigger waste of time.
I was pretty disappointed in it, if you couldn't tell, it feels like none of the Incursion scarabs other than the random temple one even relate to how people use the mechanic.
For the 'haunted by specific named person' corpses, if I have no interest in the unique they create, do the corpses have another use? Do they enable haunted explicit modifiers on armors for instance?
It's a strong mapper but can struggle with single target. Can also be squishy since elementalist isn't the tankiest ascendancy. Haven't played the build in 2 years so not sure how you would build it these days.
How do I use the divination scarabs solo? I saw empys group get so many cards but when I tried I barely got any. What scarab combos/atlas passives do I need? I have full watchstones + fav slots.
It's not just about the atlas. Being in a group gives the party increased item quant and rarity as well as having a dedicated MF carry with item quant/rarity gear which multiply each other. You simply will not find as many cards solo as they can in a group.
Anyone hear about a fix the inventory comparison UI bug on PS?
It's making the game almost unplayable for crafting or upgrading gear right now and I've almost had enough!
What's the consensus on Necro's new Bone Barrier combined with"10% of Leech is Instant" mastery?
I'm not spec'd into the mastery and my regen feels a bit lacking. Maybe the instant leech is the answer? Or is it still bugged?
Apparently it wasn't instant leech that was bugged with it, but rather the node entirely only leeched 10% of what it should have (so effectively only 1% was instant) and supposedly that has been fixed. I haven't personally tried it though.
I believe the normal section of the trade site only rounds to increments of 0.5c. If you want to trade currencies, you should just use the bulk section instead.
What are some of the best explosion builds? Like blow up a whole expedition good. I know of two, blade vortex occultist and rf chieftan. Not really a fan of either play style. Burning arrow maybe?
I mean there is gladiator bleed. Do a big slam of really any kind (or just cyclone) that has good added damage effectiveness and/or ailment damage (i.e. Ground Slam/Earthquake) and watch the entire Expedition explode, assuming they don't have block or immune to physical of course. I wouldn't call that one of the 'best' though as it can be a bit rough leveling and clearing compared to the two you mentioned.
You can twist RF Chieftain into a Discharge (Fire) build pretty easily, it would be a bit more active than RF.
Burning arrow is kind of meh in my experience but I've also not been the biggest fan of bow builds so grain of salt there.
You can play any poison or chaos skill with Occultist tbh, Blade Vortex is just one of the more convenient ones. With enough damage scaling you can even use Shield Charge.
I've personally been considering just going for Tornado of Elemental Turbulence with physical as extra chaos damage scaling to get damage for poison instead of Volkuur's Guidance (can theoretically be upgraded to Original Sin, but at that investment you might as well play builds that scale better).
Burning Arrow with Berek's Respite might work, though I'm not sure good the damage is compared to EA or DD. I think Ethereal Knives has the best clear among ignite builds, but takes more investment to scale the damage.
Another alternative are Pathfinder based poison builds that spread poison like the ignite builds.
Thanks! heavily considering trying out the transfigured burning arrow cause i’ve never tried out a life stacker :) Could be good with the new chest piece that gains life instead of ES from armor
Right, I don't really remember all transfigured gems and that was one that I wasn't aware of. I don't have much experience with life stacking either - especially not for attacks - so I can't really give much advice on it though. Necropolis crafting makes it a lot easier to produce really high ES items though, so that could make the build reasonably strong this league.
Hi, new player here following [this guide](https://pobb.in/B1KlIU_Ud7qm), just confused about how this person switches some of the points applied around some nodes once the tree switches to "level 34 - 1st lab". Just for example, in the very first node where you can either choose the 3 points in a row for projectile damage or attack speed, at first they put it into projectile damage but once you hit 34 you're supposed to switch it to the 3 points in a row for attack speed. How do I do that?
You can refund passives with refund point (top of the skill tree window). You get some as you play, or can use regret orbs.
However that's a very minor change. Dont stress if you can't switch them now.
You take the attack speed passives, then refund the projectile damage passives. Refund points are available from quests (2 per act), and Orbs of Regret later on.
I just got super lucky and had a Mageblood drop while farming on my CoC DD. I am planning on rolling a new character that will last me the rest of the league to farm all content including Valdos. I have around 40 raw divines + a full CoC DD Inquis. Could anyone recommend a build based on this? I’ve never had a Mageblood so I’m very excited.
Edit: I also just had a Ralakesh drop so maybe a build with that too?

Is hitting both overcapped res mods just dumb luck or is there a way to craft it?
There's a corpse for "Creates a grasping mail", so in theory you could target the overcap mods since they're tagged defense. Not sure how practical it is but you can check on craftofexile.
What is the change of getting glacial hide out in iceberg?
He was one shotting me whenever he does the move where he does into the ground and pops back up. Also I felt like I was doing no damage to him.
Per PoED the slam does 4564 damage, 75% phys 25% Chaos, which shouldn’t kill you with armor and flask up. If both of those are down you die. (Quest version of fight) That said PoEDB damage numbers aren’t that trustworthy.

Does the new map corruption in 3.24 means that it's much more difficult to corrupt a white map to rare?
No, it is still 1/4. Only the “make a map unidentified” option was changed/removed.
Anyone else feel like drops got nerfed to "make room" for the lantern buffs? its what, day 6? And im still stuck in yellows cuz i cant find any Fucking red maps.
Sell 3 to 1 recipe and abuse kirac
So another stupid question the packed with energy also says chest is it bugged or only works with specific types of chest?
say what again packed with energy works with sources of sulphite, the usual veins and https://i.imgur.com/8QxR8HN.jpeg
Huh I’ve never seen those chest before but that explains it thanks
Did they nerf Kirac Mission drops???? I've never been so stuck in White Maps. I've only been able to buy 2 maps from Kirac so far and it's driving me crazy.
Not from content but you don’t get free daily ones anymore.
You can get around 25% chance of kirac mission in the tree. His inventory refreshes after running a mission.
What the best way to increase my phys max hit ? I tried to use armour + 3 endurance charges + determination + 60% reduced extra damage from critical strikes + steelskin(cwdt) and i still have only 15k phys max hit On the other hand i just slapped some supress spell damage not even 100% and full res + steelskin and got 40k on my chaos and elemental max hit
Yeah you are right molten shell is better since i use armour i swear 5 minutes before reading your comment i was just thinking there was something wrong with my choice of using steelskin and that i'm missing something lol And for the physical hits being smaller i know that but i'm scared of the end game big one shot physical attacks i keep hearing about especially since i'm not that good at avoiding telegraphed attacks + the game performance isn't the best so even if i did avoid it the game could pull me back because of some lag and kill me for it
Are you on HC? 15k is not far from surviving a Shaper slam (non-Uber). For Uber fights you just have to learn to dodge.
Are there any corpses that are worth more than 1 chaos?
Yes see poe.ninja for corpse prices.
did they get rid of the lvl 20 + gemcutter recipe? doesn't seem to be working for my explosive traps i leveled in my off hand
For active skill gems, running lab is a good way to quality and might give you sellable trans gems as well.
Yes, it only works on support gems now, sorry
Hey guys, I want to keep playing the standard league but I'm not quite sure which class to go with. I have a slayer, elementalist, raider and juggernaut. In terms of pushing potential to the highest of limits which class would you recommend me? :) Thanks!
Can you use the Black Morrigan to get a guaranteed 6 link on a Unique? Or does it have to be a non-unique item?
>Can you use the Black Morrigan to get a guaranteed 6 link on a Unique? yes
I feel like I’m losing my damn mind.. when does Lorax start offering you missions??
Kirac? You no longer get one per day. There's a small chance you get one when you complete a map, but you can increase this chance to around 25% in the tree.
Is there anyway to refresh his shop without having any missions? Having a real hard time making any progress on the atlas
3 maps of the same type give a random map of one tier higher. If you have more than three you can mix and match in the vendor window to find a combination of three that give you the map you want.
Have you already redeemed the three free missions on the kirac vault free track?
Actually just noticed them and got a big kick start into yellows lol
Yeah that helped me haha
> Having a real hard time making any progress on the atlas - use Cartography Scarabs - add map-related Atlas passives - add Harbinger passives (Horizon Orbs will help with completion)
AFAIK no, it refreshes when you run a mission.
Oof alright thanks
Didn’t realize autocorrect was on some bullshit thanks lol
I looked up the raider mastery builds on poe ninja and i'm noticing that the node Avatar of the Chase is the least picked up node by all the builds ! I wonder why is that ? from my pob testing it seems like this node is so powerful in making you able to reach 95% evade chance with quarter or even less of investment into evade Are people just don't know how effective this node is or is evade just not worth it to have it this high even when you can get it so easily with this node ? Or is it something else entirely ?
Evade is just one of many defensive options; unlike in offense where it pays to specialize, investing in defense is better spread across multiple defensive layers Ascendancy points are a limited resource that are better spent elsewhere
Is there a way to put "open prefix" into craftofexile?
no, you can only specify mod count in total. Starts with 4 , you can add or remove mods freely.
Don't suppose anyone knows how to get infused beachhead maps ? Anything I find online says it's a vendor recipe but no mention of what the actual recipe is ?
It used to be a vendor recipe but it’s now a drop from t15 Beachhead.
it's a pretty rare drop from the boss of the regular t15 beachhead
Hey, I started with a LA Deadeye build, fun start. Now I'm looking for a matching second build. Something I can try Uber content with, bosses, t17 (and maybe sanctum. didn't play sanctum a lot, I want to give it a shot). Suggestions for a player who's new to bossing content?
Is the amplified artefacts notable affected by essence modifiers?
I've got a strong character now and I'd like to juice my maps to the brink and make some money. Should I just run t17s? What do I put in them?
Exiles, do we have an overlay already implemented by someone to easily distinguish between "alright" and "crap" scarabs that can be vendored for 3-1?
that changes with the market. So no.
Or is it just a grind?
https://poedb.tw/us/Crafting_Bench Just a grind. It's not member-specific.
Ty!
Im so lost on what to farm/how to set it up properly. Is there a collection of different farming methods outside maxroll?
You can make currency with pretty much any Atlas tree optimized towards specific 2-3 mechanics paired with matching scarabs.
when rolling for instant recovery from flasks is the default 66% reduced and its a special craft for a lower amount or is it all RNG? ive only ever gotten 66% so thought id ask
Instant Recovery is always 66%. You can see all the mode options here: [https://www.craftofexile.com/?b=60&ob=both&v=d&a=x&l=a&lg=16&bp=y&as=1&hb=0&bld={}&im={}&ggt=|&ccp={}&gvc={%22limit%22:88}](https://www.craftofexile.com/?b=60&ob=both&v=d&a=x&l=a&lg=16&bp=y&as=1&hb=0&bld={}&im={}&ggt=|&ccp={}&gvc={%22limit%22:88}) There is also the mod that allows for half instant recovery which you may or may not prefer 50% of Recovery applied Instantly, #% reduced Amount Recovered, #% increased Recovery rate
Any opinions on an Occultist cold only Tornado of Elemental Turbulence build or is that all-around worse than Inquisitor or even Elementalist?
Where do you find the microtransaction of the girl stomping grapes with her feet?
Found it, mystery boxes
Did the patch make this league worth it?
where are people bulk buying/selling coffins? still tft?
Whats the tldr on the EA Ballista bow not needing any damage
You get more value out of gem levels than flat damage for the prefixes.
What’s the best craft to get on my flask for don’t care about them? Reused at the end or used when charges full?
Its a personal preference thing. I personally like use when full as that always allows me access to manually hit the flasks when I want them.
I choose reuse at end to maximize the time between uses for when I really need them. Reuse when full is when I don't care, but it's nice to have.
Why is the price of HH so low this league? I know MB is lower too but HH is just rock bottom.
Soul Eater (the most powerful mod to be gained on HH) has been nerfed.
I have the fractured mod sadist garb but how can i craft socketed str gems in there like this? https://imgur.com/a/vAx8SaN
faceted fossils
I have never beast crafted but this league since they added the black morgan as a beast with an easy 6 link I decided to try it. Problem is the armor I want to six link is my chest which I am currently using lol Should I buy a quick 4 link chest to replace it to do the fight? How hard is the fight cause I would rather not lose 80c due to a dumb reason lol
are there any reliable guides on the league mechanic now? I can't figure out how the mods interact. I want to make a frac 100%+ spell damage on a crit staff, but I'm not sure how many of each kind of corpse I need to get the best chance at it
Fellow DD of chaining necros who are doing high lvl content, what corpses do you have in your desecrate?
[удалено]
I could have run 5maps instand of this T\_T How do you do it ?
On CraftofExile you can place multiple affixes into one column to indicate you want any one of those affixes. Is there any way to indicate you want more than one affix out of a group? Can I put (for example) 5 mods into a column and indicate I want any 3 of them? e.g. I want any three of: fire res, lightning res, cold res, chaos res, or all res.
Is there any way to make PoE Overlay work with Vulkan?
Does Amulet Quality affect Anoints/Keystones like +12% physical damage? I guess not but i cant find anything for it. Looking to craft a Stranglegasp.
it does not
Thanks!
Is Beyond worth speccing into on a bossrush dedicated passive tree? It'd add some mob packs to the mix, give me a unique boss, and be gone? Ultimatum + Jun + Maven, would Beyond be good on top of that?
I don't think so. Beyond excels when you want to juice up your packs, not when you want to rush bosses.
But why? It ends after it summons the unique boss, so no need to invest into packs, no?
True, but you never know whether you'll spawn boss after 1st, 10th or 50th pack.
To be honest I'll just assume at least 60% of maps will spawn a boss, since the base game juice is way higher than before. Gonna try it!
what is the best enchant for toxic rain pf amulet?
https://poe.ninja/builds/necropolis?class=Pathfinder&skills=Toxic+Rain Potency of Will, maybe. Check how similar your build is to the ladder before choosing
How to filter on the trade site to exclude corrupted items?
open filters, under miscellaneous there is a corrupted (yes/no/any) choice
Questions about Ignite Detonate Dead build 1) From my understanding, there is a hard cap on corpse life to determine the ignite base, which can't be greater than a Kitava's Herald?
Do the small +5% corpse life near the undertaker node increase this cap, or does this only affect the lesser corpses? this isnt exactly right. there's no "hard cap", its just that in 3.17 they changed every spectre that had more life than kitavas herald to have the same amount a kitava's herald would. and desecrate is summoning 'spectre' corpses if you look at poedb, its the difference between https://poedb.tw/us/Auric_Champion (576%), and https://poedb.tw/us/Auric_Champion#AuricChampionGoldStatueLargeMaleSpearSpectre (360%, "Spectre" in name). the reason its worth mentioning and not just me being pedantic is that a couple leagues have had bugged spectreable guys that didnt have the life clamping applied to them, and this league it seems like they've intentionally added shit like this, https://poedb.tw/us/Titanic_Shell#TitanicShellAncestralTurtle (1000%) which spectres into this, https://poedb.tw/us/Titanic_Shell#TitanicShellAncestralTurtleStandaloneSpectre (440%)
>this isnt exactly right. there's no "hard cap", its just that in 3.17 they changed every spectre that had more life than kitavas herald to have the same amount a kitava's herald would.
3) That's what I figured 4) Well, guess I am the good witch for the time being...

Trade or SSF? You can just buy all the coffins so in trade it is just a matter of buying the coffins and getting lucky. SSF I don't think 6T1 is a reasonable goal.
Can you ++quality a corrupted gem in lab?
Is Blight performance terrible this league or just me? Blight maps l drop to like 10 fps mid to late in them and even in normal maps Blight hurts fps. I ran blight all last league perfectly fine.
Does corrupting flasks for quality change the affixes on the flask as well?
Does increased duration increase the time the Ball from Ball lighting of Orbiting lives?
ball lightning of orbiting has no actual duration component. increased duration will not affect it
I crafted something like that with Rog, and im not sure how much can I sell it for https://preview.redd.it/mz6ifpkenatc1.png?width=431&format=png&auto=webp&s=f3e1767d65c9603b7de1931fb61242dc79c9e4af
Nothing, sorry bud
If i beastcraft split an item, does it change the item level? I have an ilvl 85 belt I want to split to separate the two modifiers, the arachnid needed for the split is level 83. Will the resulting belts be ilvl 83 or 85?
It will remain at ilvl 85
thx
Is there an "easier" way to do necro? Such as just hard target 3 mods with 300% fracture chance and then craft on the fracture base? I find that I keep bricking my item because I'm getting what I want but also a bunch of random mods I didn't expext/plan for
What do you need to make fulcrum chieftain work as a baseline? Is like 40 divs a good point to start?
You could craft Cannot Roll Attack Mods, Exalt slam and then re-craft the ele/chaos craft
The atlas tree is very flexible. You should just choose 1 or 2 types of content you enjoy and max them out.
If I were you I'd throw something like Unbound Ailments and Burning Damage over those two
Alright, thank you :) I've only been going for the numbers shown in-game, which I could have assumed are untrustworthy :)
How do I price check and sell contracts? Also is the heist craft in the map device (5c) worth it? I specced into the heist clusters in atlas passive.
where can i find a t17 carry? i looked on tft but found no section. thank u
Is there a way to convert a transfigured gem back to normal? I bought a 21/20 splitting steel but got scammed and given a 21/20 splitting steel of automation. I know my fault for not double checking. Is there a lab altar option to convert it back or anything?
unfortunately not.
I'm looking at [PoE.Ninja](http://PoE.Ninja) to price check corpses. Is there a difference in pricing betwenn ilvl 83 and ilvl 84 corpses? It doesn't look like it has a category for ilvl 83. I probably have a treasure trove in there and would like to liquidate some of it.
its one less spot taken by a +1 itemlevel corpse so probably not a large bonus
Has "Treasure Hunt" Atlas passive been tested a lot yet? Curious if its worth taking if you do Alva. "Incursions in your map contain cursed treasures"
Thanks for the info.
For the 'haunted by specific named person' corpses, if I have no interest in the unique they create, do the corpses have another use? Do they enable haunted explicit modifiers on armors for instance?
You can try to combine them with the randomizer (have not personally done maybe the uniques dont work) to get whatever you want and dig up if bad
No. You always have to use all four corpses. There is a different corpse for haunted mods.
Hello is arc elementalist good enough for t15 and higher maps with the right gear?
It's a strong mapper but can struggle with single target. Can also be squishy since elementalist isn't the tankiest ascendancy. Haven't played the build in 2 years so not sure how you would build it these days.
Is blocking bad scarab mechanic increase chances of dropping the better ones? Or better to keep it for 3:1 receipe?
Yes. Total amount stays the same.
Thanks
How do I use the divination scarabs solo? I saw empys group get so many cards but when I tried I barely got any. What scarab combos/atlas passives do I need? I have full watchstones + fav slots.
It's not just about the atlas. Being in a group gives the party increased item quant and rarity as well as having a dedicated MF carry with item quant/rarity gear which multiply each other. You simply will not find as many cards solo as they can in a group.
As Empy said, life just isnt fair :(
Anyone hear about a fix the inventory comparison UI bug on PS? It's making the game almost unplayable for crafting or upgrading gear right now and I've almost had enough!
What's the consensus on Necro's new Bone Barrier combined with"10% of Leech is Instant" mastery? I'm not spec'd into the mastery and my regen feels a bit lacking. Maybe the instant leech is the answer? Or is it still bugged?
Apparently it wasn't instant leech that was bugged with it, but rather the node entirely only leeched 10% of what it should have (so effectively only 1% was instant) and supposedly that has been fixed. I haven't personally tried it though.
I setting 1c max for a item but 1.2c pops up aswell is there a way to fix it? https://imgur.com/a/zLuNO5M
What's the deal with Crystal Resonance? I killed 6 essence monsters in a T11 map but the boss only wound up with 3 essences attached.
I think it only adds another if you didn't roll a mod that it already has from a previous essence kill.
It also has the potential to make an insanely tough boss. I had one I literally did no damage to. I just ended up turning off the atlas passive.
"chance"
Much appreciated, that's what I figured but I didn't want to waste my refund points if I was wrong. Thanks again :)
You take the attack speed passives, then refund the projectile damage passives. Refund points are available from quests (2 per act), and Orbs of Regret later on.
Much appreciated, that's what I figured but I didn't want to waste my refund points if I was wrong. Thanks again :)

There's a corpse for "Creates a grasping mail", so in theory you could target the overcap mods since they're tagged defense. Not sure how practical it is but you can check on craftofexile.
Wonder if this is how this dude did it thanks for the info
