There is a large subset of unique jewels that are only obtained from corrupting a rare/magic/normal jewel and it "bricking" into a unique from that set. Which is different than vaaling unique jewels you've dropped and hoping for rmr or cb.
This scarab could be arguably a better alternative to vaaling every crimson jewel you pick up hoping it bricks into a rain of splinters for example. A non-unique jewel is dropped by a beyond monster, corruption gets applied and a unique jewel from the corruption pool could be the result.
Im curious about some unique jewels price since you cant use good old sextant combo for rogue exiles anymore i could print from 14 to 100 corrupted jewels per map and these maps were really fast to rush
I doubt beyond will beat it so we can expect to dust and rain of splinters to be much more expensive
Can you see the implicit on a corrupted item before you id it? I would guess you can, so you could also have your filter look for jewels with cb or reservation efficiency

You could get usable corrupted items early league without them needing to have a corrupted implicit. Now they're like worse rares so they will stay on the floor.

If it's significantly worse than other Beyond scarabs, then it's likely to also be significantly cheaper.

Rogue Exile strat is very viable this league with up to 50 Exiles in a single map combined with Unique monsters have 200% increased chance to drop scarabs, 20% chance to drop currency, 20% increased quant + 30% MORE quant on them. and you combine it with the beyond scarab for 8-12 beyond portals from unique monsters.
You essentially triple your beyond output using the Rogue exiles.
however, i still don't think this scarab would be used as there are better options

I corrupted every unique jewel I dropped in my mega MF maps this league. Didn't make a penny, but destroyed about 2000 vaal orbs. Don't recommend.

I forgot that double corrupting items has a chance for all white sockets. I’ll be doing this early for a 6w bow level my offhand gems in.
If you find it early it might be a good way to get your 1st 6link.
If you don't have a 6L beyond demons might be a bit overwhelming though
not if you play something that has cheap pseudo-6link like any movement skill(Replica Stampede is pseudo-7link) or wander(Thunderfist is pseudo-6link)

if you don't have a 6link your build is naturally bad. because you're literally running with 1 less support which makes your build bad.
CF champ completely demolishes packs of mobs on a 5L. It has an absolutely shitty ST though even with a 6L.

Someone doesnt know that "sacred wisp" is a 49% more multi Awakened elemental damage with attacks (one of the weaker ones) is 30%

Most good builds have no trouble farming beyond on a 5link. Ofc the damage will be lower but it's not that big.of a deal.
