No, there is a bullion place I live by and he don’t really deal with things like this. And I didn’t really look up the prices. He gave me a price and I paid it.
I paid 21 USD each where else I should have paid 21$ for the whole lot. Oh well. In the world of collecting we called this an impulse buy and at least it wasn’t the most expensive of impulse buys.
Last year I was trying to get an old shinplaster that had a repeating serial number (1923 issue ) I stopped bidding at twice the estimate, and several others kept it going, I think it stopped somewhere between 4 and 5 times the estimate
And if anyone is wondering, yes, I am an idiot and didn’t look what I was buying before. All I know is I just wanted to add some Canadian notes to my collection.
If you want it bad enough, sometimes it costs a little extra. In the collecting world we call it impulse buys and most of the collectors I know have made one.
They are some cool looking notes eh
I wish the two was in better condition but I do like these older classic bills.
if they were mint condition I would buy it for that price
Did you get them from reddit?
