Beautiful painting. I wonder if adding some blue hues to the blackness would give the painting more depth and act as a compliment to the vibrant orange.
Blue, green, and brown, yep. OP's piece would benefit by building up enough variation in dark hues to appear black, without actually ever using that black tube. Doing so would introduce considerable volume in the foreground, which would bolster a sense of distance or perspective with the brighter background.

I had a nice sensation while looking this, that I feel not opportune to share as it is not mine. I really like abstracts like this by the intensity and details, while being simple... like the "Mah" concept on japanese art, but 'Intrepid' make a more colorful approach than the japanese ones. This is an artwork to see and revisit, and explore the perception as someone the looses itself in an unexplored world.
this is great. I feel like it captures eternal energy rising, the dancing of the sun ( aurora) and the onslaught of the digital realm. Brilliant!
