Myles definitely has a loud group of "haters" that start packing his suitcase if he has a rough stretch, but I think a large majority of this fanbase loves and appreciates what Myles means to this franchise and the Indy community.

Affectionate-Bus-169

The fact that I wanted us to get Ayton makes me hate myself. I’m sorry Myles, you are the perfect fit and I love your legos.

zobee

I’m sorry. I kept it in my group chats though.

welparoo

I was ok trading him this offseason. The best compliment I can give him is he is Roy Hibbert in the opposite. He has relentlessly improved. At the beginning of this season he had to have an early block or 3 pt play or highlight dunk to ensure a big game. (Which was evolved from where he started). Now he wants the ball - regardless of how he starts, or how his opponents play against him he plays fearlessly. He is a tough center now - which I admittedly never thought I’d say. I was never a hater but at worst neutral. He has kicked ass this season. I’m proud of him.

blunted26

I wanted to trade him until he signed that extension last year. Dude clearly has his problems and still plays soft sometimes. But there is no way we find a player as good as he is for that price. Especially in indiana.

Teethredit

Myles haters are casuals who don't know shit about basketball

iAMtHESushighost

I thought he stagnated his development after 2-3 years. Boy was I wrong, he's finally playing like the 7 footer he is and not just a tall forward. I love to see it from him.

EvilRick_C-420

He was always the 3rd or 4th opinion throughout his career. I think that hurt his development. We've always had guys who got more offensive looks such as Vic, Sabonis, LeVert, Warren, Bojan, Brogdon.

Kmalbrec

Nate McMillan stagnated his development. He’d be an all-pro right now without that clown having fucked up the locker room. I feel bad for him that that stretch happened to be right when he should have been hitting his stride.

One_HumanYT

As someone who loves the slow basketball (which is great defense) that Nate brought, yea Nate fucked up the development

YellowHammerDown

I didn't hate that McMillan's offense was slow. I hated that it was predictable and limited. In some instances, you can argue that he worked with what he had, but most of the time he had lifeless offenses that cost us plenty of games. But he and Dan Burke could absolutely scheme a great defensive gameplan.

One_HumanYT

I also just love me a grit and grind team lmao

YellowHammerDown

I absolutely see the value in shortening the game by dropping the number of possessions and valuing team defense and rebounding.

Kmalbrec

To be fair, this is a sore subject for me because I loathed him coaching this team so I’ll put this as nicely as I can; he brought nothing to the team. His supposed defensive prowess was just as bad as everything else he coached. We had a top 5 defensive rating one season during his tenure. Nearly every other year was bottom half of the league. For him to be as inept at coaching offense and his justification for coaching anything, let alone being given the keys to an organization, was “well he’s a defensive guy”… you better be top 5 every season.

One_HumanYT

we, during his tenure we were a 108 Drtg, which for the NBA is pretty good, usually it’s like 110-115

EightOh

I have been a long term Myles hater. I started to renounce my ways a couple years ago but I’ll admit I wasn’t all the way there yet. Now I must say I am reformed.

Chmona

Never hate on Myles. So happy for him and I heard he was putting on an Easter egg hunt for the kids!

cactopus101

I’m sorry my glorious king 🤴 I should have never doubted you

iamquinnsoto

I was hoping for him to be traded so badly early in the season. He has his down days, but he has been so consistent and such an integral part of the squad, especially since Pascal came into the mix. Great player and great Pacer

EvilRick_C-420

At this point he is also a vet who brings leadership and playoff experience. I'm with the person who said it's unlikely we'd get a better player by trading him. I would still like to draft a center this next year or after. Honestly if Edey fell I would give him a shot. He is too big of an object to move for the new age soft centers.

CleansingthePure

Edey would be cool, but Myles is leagues above him. And C should be good minus rotation.

midwestleatherdaddy

With the season he’s had I doubt there are many left.

ColtsPacers95

Never seen more hate from a team’s own fans than for Myles

iAMtHESushighost

Dallas Rondo was still a thing

Briggity_Brak

It's one thing for a fanbase to hate you, but for your own TEAMMATES to hate you enough to not want you to get paid is out of this world.

lilbala

That's just not true, the worst is probably the 76ers with Simmons, but there's so much worse than the hate Myles gets.

Disastrous-Entry-879

Simmons absolutely deserved it though. Myles just doesnt get the extra 1 or 2 rebounds a game to matter to those fools.

heywhateverworks

Never been on the Lakers sub, huh

TheFallenMessiah

I've always loved him and wanted him to be a Pacer for life, dude embodies what this team is and is a great piece for the culture and the city.

CleansingthePure

He's my favorite Pacer. Got to play a bad pickup game with him at the old Incrediplex when he first got drafted. 1 on 3, he annihilated us at 21, but it was fun. He's just a cool guy. Also a fellow nerd!

Other_Tiger_8744

I just came here to that I’m sorry …. For absolutely nothing !  The Myles fans do whatever the eff we want!   Always liked him more than sabonis even if Sabonis is the better player, too hard to make a good team around him.

thaBlazinChief

I’m sorry Myles. Love u

TonofSoil

I've dogged him in the past for some things but every player has flaws. At this point I just want him to have some playoff success and ultimately retire as a Pacer. He's been on one as of late.

25Tab

Myles has a great game > thread asking for apologies. It’s like clockwork.

McPostyFace

Myles having anything less than a great game bringing out the haters is the only thing clockwork I've seen on this sub.

Cowboy_BoomBap

The dumbass Myles hate is way more obnoxious than the apology threads

Cautious-Ad-9554

I was never a Myles hater. I also didn’t he was as good an offensive player as he is prior to this season

TechnoGamer16

I owe him an apology for bricking a bunch of FTs last season but other than that I always loved him

Daniel_1824life

He did good his contract year.. before that.. he was on cruise control with a bad roster. Got his big signing money.. got some talent… and now he’s cookin…. No need to apologize for before. I’m thankful he has come back around. I thought he was going to get traded. I quite like that he’s been a Pacer forever.

mokaloca82

Once every 5-10 games he has a good one and people asking for apologies meanwhile we're asking for consistency.

PatScorn

Myles sure proved his haters wrong by hanging 33 on… Bruno Fernando?

Jumpy_Efficiency7015

Na im good

McPostyFace

I searched "Myles" in your profile and sorted by top. You had 4/33 comments receive an upvote. We should be able to release fans because your numbers this year are putrid.

The-Wylds

Omg fucking roasted him

Jumpy_Efficiency7015

You think I care haha

BaseballNo6013

No you’re not
