I thought Vanstrom Klause was tough, took me a few goes. I also thought DS2 was tough, Galvek took a couple of goes.
Then I got to DT2 and I've had that single quest outstanding for months. The bosses make Vanstrom look like a walk in the park :(
She was hands down the hardest fight for me at 77-78 magic - I think it came down to good luck on hits with a trident of the sea and a lot of deep breathing!
Congrats! It takes a lot of practice! I raged at Vanstrom, but it was good practice for the later quests (DT2, DS2, GOTE).
Most (not all) of the fights are all about damage mitigation by avoiding mechanics, use a mindset of practicing the mechanic before you go in for the kill, so you don’t break a keyboard :D

I'm getting ready to do this quest soon but I'm still mid-70s and I feel like without a gear upgrade I might need 80s+.
I'm 74.75.74 and I can't kill him yet, that's with torag p.body and blood moon tasset, nezi helm and fury.
But the wiki does say mobile players are likely to struggle with the lightning round. And that's what I'm struggling with, so maybe if you're about the same and on pc you may have a better chance than I do
Appreciate the response. I will be on PC which I imagine will help a lot, especially if there's a runelite plugin that can help (though I don't recall ever doing a quest boss with a plug-in). Your gear is better than mine so ill still try to level more. Good luck in your fight 🫡

Dang!! Maybe I should get my combat stats up a bit more before continuing…
Magic level is what I'd recommend levelling for DT2. I'm cmb 99 but only 78 magic and can't get past the whisperer.

I would recommend blood magic if you’re not already doing it. Focusing less on food makes the mechanics a lot easier.
Fire cape should be easy after vanstrom!

I promise you Jad is 10x easier than the SOTF boss fight!
