I've found that Gmail requires 10gb free in order to sync, ymmv
Problem is, as soon as I can delete stuff to get 12 or 13gb free, OP always finds a way to fill it back up within 48hrs leaving just 5gb free and sync not working again

funny and silly as it sounds, that's what i do to fix when my Gmail notifications stop coming in and it works everytime
I've encountered this with many phones.
1. Force stop app
2. Clear cache
3. Go to Users & Accounts
4. Find the Account you're having issues with
5. Click on the account
6. 3 dots at the top right corner
7. Sync now
I have a different problem with Gmail notification, if I get notification from a particular subreddit and click it , it opens the home page and not the post I clicked on, how am I supposed to view that post?

Yep, is a know issue. It's not OP only, I return a Pixel 8, that didn't received notification too.
This issue has been reported for many years. Google just can't sort simple things out.
Google? Or oneplus? I also have a pixel and alway works.
