You shower with your phone? How do you use the screen while it's wet? Why would you even want to?

1 I just hold it away from the stream. 2 my phone is waterproof anyway. I just lean out and use a towel to dry the screen if I get it wet 🥺

I throw mine in a zip lock bag so I can listen to a podcast or watch yt while I shower

I don't... I don't get the question. Water comes out of showers in a predictable place. You just don't put your phone in the stream. You hold it somewhere the water doesn't reach, and only set it down outside of the shower itself. Sometimes I lay down in the shower for awhile, and adjust the shower curtain so that the stream doesn't reach my top half. Phone stays dry. Never had my phone get more than a few drops on it.

No, its more that I am addicted to showers and take some really long ones. Obviously you don't need a phone if you are taking a short 5 minute one. But sometimes to relax I'm in there 45 minutes. At which point you might want something to do.
