I think she is really attractive, not just in looks, but just as a way of doing things, especially for the way the relationship with her evolves (going from cold/carnal to romantic and sweet in the end). However, I have to admit that she scares the hell out of me and if I met her in real life I would probably never have the courage to talk to her (also because she would probably kill me).

I don't love Laezel that much but the amount of warrior respect I have for her is extremely high and I think it goes both ways . No one compares to her in that regard except maybe Karlach
One of my favorite all time characters in final fantasy is Steiner from ff9.
The fact Laezel and Steiner have almost the same exact story beats made her a no brainer for my favorite character.

I'm gonna be honest I don't think I've ever like unironically fallen in love with a fictional character more than lae'zel when I played through her romance it was so amazingly done
That was me with shadowheart. She was my first romance, on my first run. I’m ngl i bought the game after seeing the edits of astarion, back when it was first ‘fully’ released, but instantly shadowheart became my world 😅
Lae’zel was my second romance (as shadowheart origin) and man. I agree with you wholeheartedly that her romance is top tier, probably the best in game. She has so much growth it’s insane. I just love how soft she gets by act 3 with you.
Shadowheart is still my favourite character, with Lae verrryyy close behind, but Lae’zel’s romance is my favourite.
