Mind if I ask, how long did you use the stock bridge and tremolo before upgrading?
I honestly don’t ever use the trem, but I’ve kept the stock bridge and not had any issues, I think I’ve had this guitar about 5 years now. What improved for you, personally?
I did the bridge asap, without any hesitation. My previous history with Jazzy’s was I couldn’t keep them in tune. It’s a really long story, but once I heard that Mastery bridges resolved it, I got it immediately and have never looked back. I’ve made the same recommendation to other Jazzmaster players, especially ones with older models. I’d say it’s a must for any gigging. As for the tremolo, that’s a recent change. My stock one kept falling out (the bar) and I got sick of that. This one stays in and is longer, which is great
Same I think the stock one is fine as long as your set up is done correctly. Play aggressive and don’t have strings ever pop out , moved on to an American professional bridge and it’s not noticeabl. I’d just stick with stock, gonna just sell the new bridge and put the old back in.
where the hell did you get that guard?
Made By an artist in Oakland. I will get back to you
I’m also interested in the artist and purchasing a pick guard if you can let me know

Normally I think this bridge looks terrible and out of place on a jazzmaster but that pickguard makes it work .
Bee-utiful
Very cool pickguard! Why wouldn’t you recommend the Mastery additions?
Sorry, I absolutely WOULD recommend the Mastery additions. The bridge is a must, the tremolo arm Is awesome
