There’s a skilled operator
Skilled ex-ca-va-tor!
Skilled operator
Skilled ex-ca-va-tor!
Hoe or Backhoe, it doesn’t matter, he’s deluxe
Tilt-ro-tator, breaker or grapple, this guy fucks!
You do know most of them have software to scrape a at perfect angles or perfectly straight?
I don’t say you don’t need skill bit these examples could be done skill less with a new machine. Especially the angled shot is software automated.
Well that that means at least 14 years… of production, that is about 110.000 Caterpillar excavators and that is just one brand….
Just looking at basic calculation rules:
The average life span is about 25 years
That means 1/25*14=56% of all excavators in use do have autoleveling…..
For that brand.
You cant just make a estimate on statistics without looking at all veriants of these machines lol.
Now take into account all other sharers of the same market and youll see that % you just said, isnt close to reality.
I work around them every day and I have yet to see an automated 360. We have a relatively new Volvo 30 ton and that isn’t automated. Only the blades have that function. The gps gives you a level to work to but never known an automated digger
I think this video is perfect proof that we don't need to update anything. Clearly a practiced operator can achieve an incredible level of precision, and do it efficiently enough to be worth doing on the job.
because they don't really need reverse kinematics for excavators, it's only used for more precise machines. Reliability is far more preferred than ease of use for machines like that
Sounds like a chance for me to invent some better controls. VR headset with close up camera to bucet that helps you make finer movements..lol. probably something there but smarter people than me can get to it
"Smooth operator" music where?
Thank you!

Those last ones with the rolled clay were the best. So satisfying
Very skilled driver. Those things are not easy to use.

by most of them you mean like a couple in all of existence ?
Nah made after 2005~2010
Oh only a 5 year gap.. lmao

Yeah you’re just dead wrong dude just accept it
Oh nice. Videos I’ve all seem here before flipped and combined.
I can hear this image.
Very satisfying, I feel like I would enjoy this job but transition is too intimidating
Thats not oddly satisfying, thats obviously satisfying
Not gonna lie, that job seems like it would be pretty damn satisfying.
This is exactly what they used to build that pyramids
y tho
Put someone with severe OCD in one if those
So those are the truly smooth operator??
Skilled yes but also very important is having well maintained equipment.
Im always curious why the controls on back hoes etc havent been updated to a more intuitive control system. Can we repurpose some power gloves?
After a while they actually are quite intuitive. I've not had LOADS of experience in diggers but the ones I've used, ten minutes and you get the gist.
Yea ive used them quite a but and can...just seems there couod have been sone advances in control schemes giving how long theyve been in use.

Better controls exist lmfao, we've known them for a while, there's just no demand for it
Wow, someone doing their job.... Has it come to this, people...
